Used and in very good condition. High-Speed Multi-Speed Juicer Motor, CC03087, 120VAC, 60 Hz. Motor power is unknown. With Motor Start/Run Module is CBB61 (12uF, 300VAC capacitor, JKD Dianz Dongrong Ruva Metalized Polypropylene Film Capacitor). Motor was derived from a large juicer that was bumped off a table when first turned On new (which broke a plastic part on the juicer body itself but did not appear to cause any motor damage), according to seller (she did not recall make and model of juicer, and motor has no boiler plate). So motor is virtually unused and looks very clean. Maximum motor speed is about 7,000 RPM, so this is a very fast and powerful motor. Motor can be adapted for many other uses (e.g. grinders, polishers, cutters, drillers). Motor body is 4-1/2" long, 3-1/2" dia. If you have more info on this motor, please freely provide it.

Used and in very good condition, both appear hardly used. Rare Hamilton Beach Home Motor, 1917, Universal AC/DC Motor. Made in U.S.A. These great Hamilton Beach Home Motors were originally designed to convert manual treadle-type sewing machines into electrically motorized sewing machines, but also was probably used to drive household appliances. Rated at 115VAC and 115VDC - we tested without any problems both of these Hamilton Beach Home Motors at both 120VAC and 120VDC under loads. By reducing voltage, you can change motor speed and power, and by reversing the DC voltage polarity (if you use DC voltage), the Home Motor runs in the opposite direction - reversible rotation feature. Steel motor body is 3" in dia., 5-3/4" long. Shaft is standard 1/4" dia. steel, 1" long. Screw-mounted on the 1/4" shaft is a 1-1/4" long jig which has both two round rubber friction wheel sections (1" dia.), plus two round rubber belt pully sections (5/8" dia. near motor, 3/4" dia. near end), much increasing motor versatility. With this jig, motor can be used as a 1/4" dia. belt-driven motor, and as a friction-driving motor. Remove this jig, and many 1/4" standard motor attachments can be attached to its shaft. The motors set on rubber feet, so they are easily portable from work surface to work surface, and should be stable and not marr surfaces (work surfaces should be level). The motor is spring-loaded to naturally sit at about a 45-degree angle, but can be pressed rotated down to as much as about a -30-degree position. The 45-degree motor angle and range of motor angles make these Home Motors perfectly ergonomic for desk-top motors for polishers, grinders, cutters, drillers, winders, etc. - ideal for the shop, crafter, repairer, modeler, etc. Can also be used as a press-down motor for grinding, polishing and cutting. Also, these Hamilton Beach Home Motors were made at a time not long after motors were invented, so they are truly amazing and precious motor collectibles. Note that the motor's male connector is not a standard 120VAC outlet plug. Its power pins do work great with standard electronic jacks, which we can provide you for free. Or if you wish, we can provide you free a new 120VAC power plug for you to install on the motor power cable (we did not make this power cord conversion because tool collectors usually prefer original condition). If you want either connectors included, ask for them at time of purchase.

VERSATILE - GREAT FOR MANY USES!

Used and works great. Small oven/heater originally designed to heat cordless curling irons (we also sell cordless curling irons). Many people don't feel safe using an electrically-powered curling iron to their wet or damp hair for fear of electrocution - old-style non-electric curling irons may be coming back. Also great for many other types of heating uses from science or chemistry laboratory heater, to heat shrink tubing shrinking, to baking small pottery, to heating cutting and punching tools, for woodburning crafts, to thermally test electronic circuits, for numerous branding uses, as a temporary local area heater, etc. The guy we bought it from used it to heat his (aluminum-wrapped) burritos for his lunches at his desk. Note that the right photo was taken from below, and the stand that appears to go across the middle of the oven opening actually is level with the bottom of the opening and is used as the curling iron rest when the iron is inserted inside the oven. FE-50 horizontal motor. Heavy-duty and industrial grade. Used, tested and in great condition. Has 4 settings: High, Medium, Low and Off. 120 VAC, 60 Hz, 1.6 Amp. SKU 238-884. Model YYHS-50. Spindle is 1/2" steel with flattened side. The nice thing about this AC motor is that it can be used horizontally as well as vertically. For example, it is great for turning a pottery table, grinding stone or polisher directly or through a belt & pully system or gears.

Used, and works great. We bought this at an estate sale. Not a real powerful motor, but we found it works good for most functions, such as polishing, grinding, cutting, winding spools, and as a motor for a small home-built lathe. Battery-operation makes it convenient and easy to transport and use in the field and on site. Of course, it could be re-wired to use an DC power adapter instead or to be switchable between batteries and AC. Has two precise vernier adjustments for great precison and repeatability. One adjusts the tilt and one adjusts the azimuth. Originally designed to level lasers, it can also be adapted for use with some Dremel-type drills, camera lens, drill presses, milling machine, telescopes, mirrors, lenses, rifle barrels, etc. Tube has a 3/8" center hole at the top, which makes it ideal for drill presses and milling machines to access. Used and works great. Powerful mirrored multi-colored laser / stroboscope. This strobe is in a heavy duty steel chassis case, similar to the types of chassis and cases that HP and Tektronix builds their very high quality electronic test equipment into. The device is not labeled (no boilerplate), and we don't know who makes it or for what purposes it was made (when we bought it a few years ago, we was told that it originally came from Sandia Labs and used for multi-color laser applications like holography, but we can't verify this). We have had limited uses for it.

I do know that the device works fine, and produces a series of extremely brilliant pulsed lights. By adjusting the flash speed way down, it appears to us that red, green and blue flashes occur successively. This device contains what looks like to us three very expensive light sources of different colors and a set up of various mirrors, glass plates that allow half of the light to go through and half to be reflected (half-silvered, filters?), and lenses. It has a standard SCSI connector in the back. We have no documentation on it, and we don't know the pin-out of the SCSI, but more than likely, it was for a computer hook-up. Not shown but on center of the bottom of the device is a sturdy steel plate screwed in with a threaded hole, apparently so the device could easily be mounted on a photographic tripod. It is 15.75" x 7" x 5.5".

The first image set is of a photo taken from the front while the device was operating, and photos of the front and back of the device when it was turned Off. The second image is a photo of the device taken while operating, in the dark, and with my camera flash Off. The third image set is a photo from each side of the lamp/mirror area with device Off to try to show the arrangement of the lamps and glass plates. The fourth image set is a photo top view of the device Off, and a photo top view with of the device with its cover in place.

Strobes have many uses, not the least of which is for dances and discos, for timing, for setting and determining rotational speeds and linear velocities, as a self-defense and anti-burglary device, in video, photography and holography, for special effects, for signaling and rudimentary communications, in biomedical research, and in mind control, electronic attack, brain entrainment and biofeedback research. I got this optical device at an estate sale. There is nothing stamped on it to indicate who made it and what exactly is it for, but it appears to be either a laser pointer or dental wand. Even the highest quality, most expensive audio amplifiers don't amplify signals much above 20 KHz (the human upper hearing limit) - they cannot amplify ultrasonic BW signals so are useless for ultrasonic detection purposes such as ultrasonic attack, ultrasonic mind control, ultrasonic communications, outputs of ultrasonic equipment (such as pest controllers / animal controllers, ultrasonic cleaning tools, ultrasonic welding, ultrasonic distance measuring, natural ultrasonic phenomena (e.g. bats, insects, etc.) or any other ultrasonic signals), or high-frequency sonar or high-frequency electric fields, magnetic fields or electromagnetic fields. While oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers will display very low intensity ultrasonic BW signals that come directly from an ultrasonic transducer, because some ultrasonic signals are extremely weak (microvolts), only the most expensive scopes will amplify them enough for decent viewing or analysis (and these usually require 1X probes). For most oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers, you need an external ultrasonic BW amplifier to provide adequate signal boosting if you want to view ultrasonic signals more than 1 cm peak-to-peak on the scope or spectrum analyzer display. Furthermore, since scopes are wideband, they will amplify and display all detected signals throughout their entire huge signal bandwidth. Thus, noise frequencies both below and above the ultrasound BW will also be amplified and displayed along with the ultrasonic BW frequencies (e.g. 60 Hz electrical power interference), thus making viewing and analysis of the ultrasonic frequencies on a commercial scope garbled up with all of the noise without an ultrasonic amplifier in between much more difficult and sometimes virtually impossible. And unamplified ultrasonic BW signals are useless for any direct application of these signals.

This ultrasound amplifier will detect and amplify ultrasonic frequences from 20 KHz to about 200 KHz (e.g. covers the BW for ultrasound sinewave tones and ultrasound carrier frequencies modulated with conversation, control signals or data, and 20KHz to about 100 KHz BW for digital ultrasounds), with strong signal rejection below 15 KHz. This covers virtually the entire ultrasonic sound BW useful for air transmissions much greater than a few inches (skin contact ultrasonic generators, such as medical ultrasonics, transmit well into the MHz frequency range, but in air, megahertz ultrasonic sounds have such an extreme attenuation as to be effective only over very small air gaps). Input impedance is very high. Tunable gain (volume control) up to 100,000+ (100 db). This amplifier, with the proper input transducer (ultrasonic BW transducers / ultrasonic BW probes are not included, but we sell some in our webpages), will amplify hyper-sound and ultrasound sounds of many different types and sources - as well as ultrasound BW electrical, magnetic and electromagnetic signals (appropriate electrical transducer / magnetic transducer / electromagnetic transducer is required; no transducers are provided with this amplifier but must be purchased separately; since there are countless different types and variations of transducers, this amplifier may not work with transducers not obtained directly from us.) We also sell in our webpages the Ultrasonic Microphone/Pick-up/Probe/Transducer, which works great with this device.

This special wideband ultrasonic BW amplifier is especially designed to be very sensitive to ultrasound BW signals and is also especially designed to NOT be very sensitive to audio band (and infrasonic band) signals. It amplifies even weak ultrasound BW signals in an environment that also has large components of interfering audio BW and infrasonic BW signals such as talk, music, audio noise, electrical noise, and subsonic BW signals that you can't detect but which can mix with audio BW signals to produce interfering sum and difference frequency signals. By severely rejecting these out-of-band signals and strongly amplifying the ultrasonic BW signals, a much stronger and clearer ultrasonic BW signal comes through.

This special amplifier works especially well with the ultrasound transducer / ultrasound mike we also sell in our webpages to provide even greater rejection of audio frequencies and infrasonics. Because we cannot test my ultrasonic amplifier with every possible ultrasonic BW transducer available worldwide (and there are great variations in the designs of ultrasonic BW transducers), we can only guarantee that it will work with my Ultrasonic Mike (see my webpages); they have both been tested together and work great together. Again, even very expensive high-quality audio amplifiers and audio mikes are rarely sensitive above 20 KHz, so this amplifier does not work properly with audio mikes limited to 20 KHz and below.

New. These ultrasonic transducers / ultrasonic mikes / ultrasonic pick-ups / ultrasonic probes are used for detecting/receiving sounds in the ultrasonic bandwidth (BW). Originally bought for brainwave research, these ultrasound mikes can be used for many applications, including but not limited to ultrasonic attack detection, ultrasonic mind control detection, psychic and paranormal research, other medical/biomedical research, small ultrasonic source detection, ultrasonic implant detection, ultrasonic communications, material flaw detection, ultrasonic therapies, high-frequency sonar (for liquid emersion, the mike must be protected from contact with the liquid), etc.

Cable length is 6-foot and is of a very high quality and pliable coaxial cable (coaxial cabling is required to absolutely minimize electrical noise pick-up). The rubberized front end is about 4" long and 1-1/2" in diameter, improves mike directionality, makes these ultrasonic transducers / ultrasonic mikes more comfortable to hold and use, and more immune to such things as dropping or twisting of the cable around the mike. On the other end is connected a stereo miniphone plug (we also have some with spade lugs, so if you need one with spade lug connectors, let us know). This high quality ultrasonic transducer with built-in preamp at transducer end will detect and amplify ultrasonic energy 15 KHz to about 200 KHz BW (e.g. ultrasound sinewave tones and ultrasound carrier frequencies modulated with conversation, control signals or data; and about 100 KHz BW for digital ultrasounds). 200 KHz is about the useful upper BW limit for air-transmitted ultrasounds (skin contact ultrasonic generators, such as medical ultrasonic transmitters, transmit into the MHz band but because of the extreme attenuation of MHz ultrasounds in the air, the effective air range for MHz ultrasounds is less than about one inch). Preamp gain is about 50 so even faint ultrasounds are amplified to the point of being easily and cleanly displayable on an oscilloscope (not provided). The microphone is very sensitive to ultrasonic sounds.

DC voltage is externally applied (9VDC - 12 VDC) (e.g. a 9-volt radio battery, not supplied). The mike can be handheld. It is very deaf to low-frequency "bumping" noises, breathing noises and wind noises one usually gets from a typical handheld audio band mike - a big plus. We provide a connector diagram to show +V (DC power), Signal Out, and Ground plug conductors. All you have to do is hook up your battery between +V and Ground, and feed Signal Out and Ground to your scope. We also provide you two free compatible jacks for it (see below).

Again, this special wideband ultrasonic transducer is especially designed to be very sensitive to ultrasounds and also especially designed to NOT be very sensitive to audio band (and infrasonic band) sounds so that it can pick up even weak ultrasounds in an environment which also has a large component of audio and infrasonic sounds such as talk, music, noise, and subsonic sounds that you can't hear but which can mix with audio sounds to produce annoying sum and difference frequency sounds in the audio band. Even very expensive audio mikes are rarely sensitive at frequencies above 20 KHz.

For proper use, this ultrasound mike works best with a compatible ultrasound amplifier / ultrasonic amplifier. Because it rejects audio, it will not work properly with an audio amplifier that does not extend well into the ultrasonic band. This ultrasonic microphone is designed for ultrasonic use only. We also sell such a compatible ultrasonic amplifier that also highly rejects audio sounds (see my webpages), called the Wideband Ultrasonic Amplifier; we have tested both together and they work great together. Since there is no way that we can test this special ultrasonic mike on every ultrasonic amplifier that might be available worldwide (and there may be substantial differences in the ultrasonic transducers other amplifiers use), we cannot guarantee that this ultrasonic mike will work with any other ultrasonic amplifier except with our Wideband Ultrasonic Amplifier.

Electronic biofeedback thermometer is portable and battery-operated. Generally employed for biofeedback, relaxation and stress reduction, and in mind control and brainwave entrainment research. It is 10.5" x 8" x 4.5", and built into a strong case, with a big easy-to-read meter. COMES WITH PROBES AND MANUAL. The two big, Eveready Energizer No. 266 (Neda 1605) 9-volt batteries it came with are depleted. We do not have replacements for these batteries; however, the power connectors to the system can be easily re-wired for the 9-volt radio batteries and 9-volt DC power adapters commonly used today. We did not make this change because vintage equipment collectors prefer that such rare, vintage equipment be left as much in its original condition as possible, and new or rechargeable No. 266 batteries may be still available somewhere. Will be shipped without batteries installed. Since We have not been able to test this system, we are selling it "as is."

These new Umec ADSL Pots UT20145 / UT 20145 telephone low pass filter phone boxes are really great, especially for the experimenter! These were originally made for - and still function very well as - line filters for DSL applications. The enclosures themselves are heavy-duty plastic 4" x 2-1/4" x 1". As you see, the circuit board is easily removed, letting you use this professional enclosure for prototype projects you may be working on - high quality substitutes for expensive Budd boxes. It has a flange that protrudes from the base 1/2" on each side with a center hole for convenient mounting. The board itself has 3 RJ-11 phone jacks: One phone jack for the Line, one for filtered Output and one for unfiltered Output. The PC board also consists of sets of series inductors and parallel capacitors used to perform the low pass filter function. The enclosure cut-outs for the RJ-11 connectors can be used for other connectors, or you can cut off the RJ-11 connectors from the boards and mount them on your own circuit board. RJ-11 cables are very common and inexpensive in many different lengths, and can be used for many phone and non-phone applications. The 3db cut-off is 7 KHz. Attenuation is 12db at 8 KHz, 60db at 20 KHz, and 72db at 40 KHz. Insertion loss from 200 Hz to 4 KHz is 0.5db. These connectors, inductors and capacitors can easily be removed, changed or added to should you need to change your low-pass filter characteristics or even to change the filter to bandpass filters.

Duo Dual Axes Vibrator / Thumper / Shaker for Bulk Material Handling Shaker Power Tool. This tool is great for installing panels, plywood and sheeting for those construction site type situations where you have tight fits but don't want to take the chance of doing damage using heavy hammer blows to get the parts to fit together. This vibrator thumper shaker is also very useful when you need to handle or align light stacks of plywood, panels or boards. Comes with 3 rubber cups for various vibration types and levels. The rubber cups just slip on or off the steel arms, and can be easily cleaned or replaced (you can buy replacement rubber cups or make your own). Normally held by one hand, with a comfortable grip.

What makes this dual-axes vibrator much more effective than single-contact type vibrators is that it vibrates in two perpendicular axes. By tilting the device so that the edge of each cup is contacting the object being vibrated, much stronger vibrations are sent into the object, thereby obtaining much better and faster results than just using a vibrator thumper shaker with only one contact point.

This vibrator thumper shaker was originally made and sold as a powerful personal therapeutic massager, but has many other great uses, for examples:
          (1) Vibrating copier and printer toner cartridges when they appear out of toner to get 10%-20% more usage out of them (the vibrations cause the toner powder adhering to the toner cartridge inside walls to shake off so it can be used for printing / copying). And to prepare empty printer cartridges / copier cartridges for refilling, or to empty and clean containers of other powders or sticky substances. This vibrator/thumper/shaker can be used to shake the materials out of their containers.
          (2) To more efficiently fill bottles, jars, boxes, packages and trays with small objects (e.g. hardware parts such as screws, nuts and bolts, electronic parts, tool bits, pills, beans, viscous liquids, etc.) - the vibrations with the help of gravity cause the objects to more efficiently settle and closely arrange and compact themselves so that you can efficiently fit more objects into each bottle, jar, box or tray.
          (3) As a concrete vibrator or plaster vibrator to get the concrete or plaster to better settle into vacant spaces, eliminate air bubbles, and compact down. We have found it especially useful for setting posts (e.g. fence posts, sign posts), and for settling concrete pours along edges and corners where the concrete tends to adhere to framing boards, rebar, rocks and soil.
          (4) To help screen objects much faster than just hand-shaking. We have used this type of vibrator to greatly assist us with screening boxes and trays, and got good results with it experimenting with sluice boxes. And we also experimented with this type of vibrator for sanding and filing operations with some success - just a matter of improvising a jig to hold and position it for sanding and filing.
          (5) Vibrating stacks of paper pages so that you can more easily even up the paper stack along the edges. Office supply stores sell expensive paper stack vibrators - this vibrator does the same job just about as well.
          (6) Laboratory and mold shop material vibrator (e.g. plaster impressions). Scientific lab vibrator.
          (7) For mixing powders and liquids. Vibrations also cause stirring and mixing type actions.
          (8) Also great for loosening objects stuck together.
          (9) We even use these vibrators / thumpers to help clean difficult stains from carpets and upholstery. You soak the carpet stain / upholstery stain with your stain remover, then vibrate the soaked stain for about 5 minutes, then clean up the stain remover. We find this type of vibrator much more effective than just rubbing on the stain remover and vacuuming it up and more effective than ultrasonic carpet-cleaner vibrators (it works very similar to the way ultrasonic cleaners clean and polish small items but with much more power and at a lower vibration frequency).

Note, as with all power tools, be sure to wear the right protective gear, such as gloves, goggles, protective shoes, ear plugs, head gear, etc., and to always do things in a safe and sensible manner. This Dual Axes Vibrator, while powerful enough to do or assist in doing all of the jobs described above, does not have the power of a hydraulic jack hammer, nor does it have magical powers to do jobs for those who lack the skills, abilities and common sense to both safely and competently handle power tools.

These 4' long biomedical electrodes are used in numerous and varied types of mind and brain research, biomedical uses, and general electronic lab and shop uses (see my webpages as we are also selling several of these types of equipment that we used these electrode types with for our biofeedback, mind control, plant research, etc. experiments). We have a ton of these bioelectric electrodes in 3', 4', 6', 8', and 10' lengths - far more than we can use in several life times - so We are selling my surplus (total S/H is much cheaper if you buy and pay for two or more sets at once). You get the size stated above (Length tolerances are -5% to +25%). Other than length differences, they are all of the same construction.

The electrode's 1/8" dia. orange cabling is extraordinarily supple for greatest comfort and least probability of electrode moving or detaching when the subject moves around, or of becoming entangled. And due to its insulation thickness, it is very resistive to shorts, current leakage, and high-voltage arc-overs.

One end of an electrode is terminated with a bifurcated "soft pinch" type non-invasive electrode that should not cause pain to anything almost without regard to where placed, and yet holds on strongly enough to resist detachment because of slippage or some motion. The electrode can be shaped to some extent by the experimenter using alligator pliars for different / lesser / greater grips (one example: to shape them to go around curved surfaces). The spring-operated electrode is made of steel (copper-like color in images is artifact of photo under exposure - electrodes are bright, shiny steel), and is about 2" long, 3/16" wide, bifurcated at its business end, and is reinforced to the cable with a sheath of about 2" of durable black plastic for maximum electrode life time.

The bifurcated electrode is far superior in versatility and usefulness than the standard single-end electrode because: (1) It permits better gripping and contact on uneven surfaces and soft surfaces for the same pressure, (2) It allows for more accurate spot check readings taken between the electrode tynes (e.g. connecting up an oscilloscope or meter directly to the electrode in situ), (3) It allows for the interleaving of two electrodes (e.g. while one electrode transmits a signal to the subject, the other monitors the signal at the exact delivery site), and (4) Other electrode types, connectors and devices (and more than one at the same time) can be screwed directly to the electrode through the slot between the tynes.

On the other end of the electrode is an "eye" connector (lug with a hole or hole lug). This end is generally connected to the equipment using a screw (screws sizes up to #8, or #10 with a little reaming), and is gold-plated for optimum conductivity. This end is reinforced to the cable with a sheath of about 2" of durable black plastic for maximum electrode life time. This connector can be soldered or screwed to the other connector types you use at your end. If the experimenter wishes, he/she can cut a slot out of the front end of the connector using a pair of dikes to convert it into a spade lug.

I bought these high-quality electrodes in bulk from another biofeedback experimenter at his estate sale, in a box labeled, "biofeedback electrodes." we don't know who made them, where to obtain replacement cabling, electrodes or connectors, or even if their cabling, electrode ends or connectors were originally designed for electrode uses. We can say that after many 100s of hours of using these electrode types, including some high voltage and outside applications, We have found them to be very useful, reliable and versatile, and have not broken one yet. We have found the electrode cabling to be resilient to aging, cracking, dirt, grime, grease, oils, salt water, light acids, light alkalies, solvents, current leaks, shorts, arcing over, high and low temperatures, and high and low humidities.

These magnetic transducers / magnetic probes / magnetic electrodes / magnetic field probes / brainwave electrodes / brain probes can be used for both detecting/receiving and transmitting magnetic fields and as a small electromagnets, depending upon the piece of equipment it is connected to (under 250ma current). Originally bought for brainwave research, these magnetic transducers can be used for many applications, including but not limited to, brainwave detection, other psychic and paranormal research, other medical/biomedical research, small magnetic field detection, small metal detection, bug detection/tap detection (as well as bugging and tapping), some implant detection, isolated communications, material flaw detection, magnetic therapies, magnetic stimulations, magnetic key decoding, to measure relative motion of conductive objects (especially iron or steel, e.g. tachometer), etc. These magnetic probes are also ideal for many magnetometer and field-strength meter devices and uses.

Cable length is 6-foot and is of a very high quality and pliable coaxial cable (coaxial cabling is required to absolutely minimize electrical noise pick-up). These magnetic transducers are about 1/4" diameter and about 1/2" long - an incredible 12 mH inductance, 25 ohm, for their small size. On the other end is connected a mini-phone plug (we also have a few each with RCA plug, sub-mini phone plug and spade lugs, so if you need one of these, let us know). These magnetic transducers will both receive and transmit magnetic energy from about 0.2 Hz to about 300 KHz pulse, modulated and sinewave signals - covering the entire audio frequency bandwidth (BW), as well as most of the infrasonic BW and air ultrasonic BW.

When used in conjunction with a commercially-available audio amplifier or recorder, these magnetic transducers should be wired in as a dynamic microphone. Both infrasonic amplifiers and ultrasonic amplifiers are also available from us.

For use with living tissues (plant or animal), penetration or even direct contact to surface is not required, however, contact should be as close to surface as possible as air gaps diminish effectiveness. This means that these magnetic probes are non-invasive, and one does not have to use a gel, shave the area, touch the skin or other surface, or suffer electrode irritation (common to skin contact and invasive electrodes) to effectively use it. And that these magnetic probes can be effectively used over most light clothing and plastic wrap. As with all magnetic transducers, especially those used for sensitive or precision magnetic detection jobs, the magnetic transducer should be held as steadily as possible. This can be done using a steady hand, rubber bands, velcro or shower cap with a hole in it to pass the cable or tape (none of these are provided). For permanent use and non-living area contact, you might also consider using a cement, glue or other firm adhesive to attach the transducer rock-solid to the surface.

We found this electrified face mask type to be especially useful in our electronic attack and mind control research, so we bought several new ones starting several years ago. The inside of the mask consists of large-headed rounded "pins," on springs, which gently press against the face when the mask is on, and serve as electrodes. Because the "pins" are spring-loaded, they fit virtually any size, shape or age of face. It comes with a 9-volt battery-operated controller with an intensity adjustment, which is used to generate and transmit the stimulating current into the face skin. This controller is normally included by the manufacturer for the device.

For mind control and electronic attack research, what makes this particular face mask model ideal is that the controller connects into the mask using a commonly-available RJ-45 connector (Note: Some stimulating face masks that look very similar to this one don't use a connector and thus their controller is permanently wired to the mask, or they use a specialized connector only available to the face mask manufacturer). This hot cutter is an excellent tool for cutting rope, fabric, leather, light wood and light plastic stock and pieces fast and cleanly and without the vibrations you get from power saws or using force with manual cutters and scissors. This hot rope cutter is especially good for cutting nylon rope, string or webbing because it melts and fuses the ends of the nylon pieces so neither piece unravels (same for Dacron, polypropylene). This hot knife tool is great for most shops, but especially for the crafts shop and modeling shop, and also for sports and other activities which use rope and string. The hot rope cutter blade is 1-1/2" long. Internal thermostat-controlled. Stable base. CAUTION: The blade on this hot rope cutter is nearly razor sharp and can get very hot, so handle with great care. RARE VINTAGE THERMAL PLASTIC SOFTENER HEATER
UNIQUE & VERY VERSATILE WARMER
(Eyeglass Frames & Earpieces - Much More)

Used and in very good condition. Rare, Vintage, Unique and very Versatile Thermal Plastic Softener Warmer Heater. Has no make or part #. While originally designed for adjusting, shaping and sizing eyeglass frames and earpieces, this electric heater tool is great for many other uses, especially for crafters, modelers, and laboratory technicians. Silvery post is aluminum, base is steel (with minor corrosion on bottom). Post is labeled with size numbers: 36 (top), 38 40, 42 and 44 (bottom). Tapered part of post is 4-3/8" long. Post has an oval or oblong cross section (about 1-1/4" x 1-3/8" at its top and 1-11/16 x 2" at bottom of taper), because eyeglass lens holes are mostly oval or oblong. Hole at the top is also oval or oblong - about 1/4" x 3/8" and about 6" deep. (In left image, the device is lying down with the post top resting on a poser for more accurate taper perspective.)

Eyeglass frame tolerances are not that great and vary between frames, so you can have a situation where an eyeglass lens is a little too large in one or both dimensions to fit into the frame. Trying to adjust a cold plastic frame or earpiece can easily result in cracking and even breaking the plastic, ruining the frame. Back in the day, eyeglass frames were adjusted, shaped and sized using a thermal tool like this - now very rare. To shape a frame's eye hole, one places eye hole over the heated post and then slides it down to the appropriate size, then gently works the frame into the right size and shape. The frame lens hole shape need not be the exact same shape or size as the oval/oblong post cross section as the frame can be manipulated to contact only that part of the post needed to shape and size it. This thermal heater also works great with eyeglass earpieces. The earpiece is briefly inserted into the hole at the top, then remove the earpiece, and while it is still warm, gently adjust and shape it for fit.

This unique thermal device has countless other great uses, especially for crafts people, modelers and laboratory technicians. One is not restricted to plastic eyeglass frames and ear pieces, but other plastic types of loops, bends and spirals can also be used with it. Also great for shaping and curving plastic rods and tubes to fit desired designs and uses. We used this to make curved black eyebrows for a mannequins, and for doing interesting Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving decorations, exhibits and displays (e.g. Christmas tree hangers). Can also be used for decorations and displays for birthdays, other special occasions, science projects and displays, theater sets, and even Halloween. Can also be used to melt plastic to seal plastic boxes and similar, holes in plastic, plastic seals, plastic tube tops, and the ends of nylon cords and webbing. Device can also be used to attach or repair loosened decals and patches with melt glue on them, such as caps, hats, shirts and jackets, even to quickly iron wrinkled ties and ribbons, and is great for heatshrink tubing (especially great for large sizes, thick, multi-walled and adhesive-lined heatshrink tubing). And for uses and areas where you need high localized heat but don't want blowing air with it. And this thermal heater works with some rubbers and some woods. While it get very hot, we have not attempted to use it to bend chemistry lab glass or to melt solder or hot glue sticks. Can also be used as a temporary and emergency space heater, hand warmer, dry towel warmer, or small area heater to prevent pipes from freezing.

NOTE: This device requires some practice and skill to optimally use for eyeglass frames or model-making or crafts-type work. It only works well with materials which soften with heat. Since a few plastics and other materials do not soften with heat, some of which can be damaged by heat, cautiously test your materials first. In many cases, experimentation is required for optimum matching of materials to this device, and to develop good material shaping and sizing skills, but once you get the knack for using it well, it is a real joy and time saver to use.

CAUTION: This device is a heater that gets hotter than some soldering irons - hot enough to seriously burn flesh and damage property, and possibly cause a fire if tipped over or something flammable comes into contact with its hot parts. Use only indoors on a clean, clutter-free, dry, level, smooth, non-flammable and sturdy desktop or work bench top, and safely away from flammables, pets, children, and those who might contact with it or use it carelessly or not responsibly. Use only with thermally-protective gloves and eyewear, and in a dry and well-ventilated area. Turn On only during periods of use. Do not leave turned On or hot unattended. Store only disconnected and cold in a safe, dry environment.

However, do NOT plug the FWC-4 fog machine timer controller directly into a VAC outlet, although it has an AC connector on it which is commonly used for that. Used and works great. HPI Can You Imagine Suspended Animation Clock. This is truly a stunning, incredible and modern clock (which displays time, day, day of week, month and year date data)! Rather than having a normal LED display, it has a wand with a bank of high-speed bright blue LEDs packed in near the wand tip. When the clock is ON, the wand very rapidly swings back and forth throuth the "V" notch area of the clock like an extremely fast pendulum. The LEDs then light with such precise timing as to give the appearance of "writing" the time, day, day of week, month and year date data in the "V" notch area, with the wand practically completely disappearing due to its very fast movement. The effect is that this data displays in mid air, giving it an eerie, science fiction, futuristic effect. Fascinating operation. Certain to be a great conversational piece.

It works by projecting a lens-focused light beam (not laser) from a light beam emitter to its light beam detector (a photocell). Anything interrupting the light beam is detected as an intrusion.
