RARE, VINTAGE WINLAND MECHANICAL TEMPERATURE ALERT / SWITCH

Used and in very good condition. Winland Mechanical Temperature Switch / Alert. Can be used as a thermostat. Works great and easy to use. Big, visible analog display easily viewed at much longer distances than most temperature gauges and thermostats. You simply move the end contacts to the temperatures you want the Winland to alert or switch to using a small screwdriver. The center contact indicates the temperature; if the temperature rises or falls, the center contact moves in that direction. When it comes into contact with one of the end contacts, it acts like the closure of a switch, which then can be used to activate an alert and/or to switch in heater or cooler controller to heat or cool the area to keep the temperature under control through your selected range. We don't know what it is rated at; we've tested the contacts at 120 VAC and 160 VDC and 10A and it worked fine. Great for regulating temperature ranges for home and business use, for experiments, and for equipment and real property you have left alone for some time and you don't want to overheat and/or get too cold. Can be used in conjunction with other thermostats you now use.

The ULTIMO WATER LEAK DETECTOR
& WATER LEAK LOCATOR

Does your home or business have a possible water leak problem? Indications are usually high and escalating water bills, sounds of running water late at night when no one is up using water, unusual but usually sudden sounds coming out of the plumbing (e.g. compressed air sounds, vibrations), loss of water pressure, air bubbles, soil, rust or root pieces appearing in the water, creaky or settling sounds of the building, sticky doors that weren't sticky before, and/or cracks which suddenly appear in walls, floors, the foundation, driveway, etc. Leaking pipes, joints, and fixtures and appliances are common these days, and many private and public properties all over America have serious water leaks. Leaking water can cause tremendous damages to structures - even catastrophic settling of the building - which can cost you $1,000s and even $10,000s to repair - even destroy the building itself - not to mention wasting invaluable and ever-decreasing potable water and very high water bills. Water leaks occur because of plumbing aging, vibrations and tremors (e.g. heavy vehicle traffic nearby or over the water line, nearby construction or industrial vibrations, earthquake activity, nearby explosions and other earth movements, etc.), defective materials, defective workmanship, frozen water lines or faucets, overpressurization from the city or other water utility company, hard water, and plant roots attracted by small leak and making it into a bigger water leak.
           You can usually easily, quickly and at no-cost test your water system for water leaks: You turn OFF all water uses inside the building (which may be difficult if you have leaky faucets or toilets, icemaker, swamp cooler, etc.), you then look at the water meter, and if it is still turning, in most cases you have a leak somewhere in your plumbing system which you should get repaired - and usually quickly. Usually, the faster the meter turns, the greater the leak and the emergency to repair it. Even leaks dozens of feet from a building can structurally damage the building. Small leaks can turn into major leaks and floods within minutes or a few hours, or within days, weeks and months - depending on many factors. However, while this test will tell you that you likely have a leak somewhere in your water plumbing system, it won't tell you exactly where the leak is at in usually complex plumbing, so you are faced with either finding the specific location of the leak within a few feet using some other equipment (our UWLD&L device), or tearing up most or all of your yard or driveway where the water line passes under and finding the water leak IF that is where the water leak is at, often at $1,000s in expenses for gross searches for the water leak and to replace what the diggers dug up. Since locating the water leak usually requires fast action on your part, it is far cheaper to have the UWLD&L device on hand, then finding yourself forced into having most or all of your entire yard or driveway dug up.
           Municipalities almost never check for water leaks on private property (plumbers don't like the competition), and some don't even have water leak locator equipment to pinpoint their own water leaks. Many small town and rural area plumbers do not carry water leak locator equipment - only equipment to test water lines in general - they can usually determine what water line the leak is in but not exactly where it is in that line. Plumbers who do carry water leak locators typically charge $200 - $300 to do this job EACH TIME they test your water lines, it can take days for them to come out and test your water lines - even in emergency situations - and then you have to depend upon them to accurately tell you the location of the water leak. And some plumbers will charge double that charge if they detect a leak in your system but you don't hire them (at great additional expense) to do the plumbing repairs - even if they can't pinpoint the leak. We could find no plumbers or equipment rental shops who would rent their leak detectors to us or let us verify the leak ourselves using their leak detection equipment. Some plumbers subcontract out for leak detection, so you may end up dealing with multiple finger-pointing contractors. Since plumbers charge far more for tearing up your entire yard and/or home or business and replacing all plumbing rather than pinpointing the leak and replacing only that very small part of the plumbing, crooked plumbers will still claim that they can't pinpoint the water leak using their water leak locator equipment, so you end up not only paying for the entire job but also their expensive leak testing. Plumbers charge a lot, but on top of that, they usually do not restore the site they damaged to reach the plumbing - some won't even clean up their debris - all that is left to the owners, which also can be very costly and/or back-breaking work. Also, if you can pinpoint your leak and do a spot repair of it, you can avoid the scarring of a much larger area resulting if the leak is not pinpointed and the entire line must be replaced, which gross repair can substantially reduce the value of your property and exaggerate to prospective buyers and renters how bad your leak was. The cost for a plumber to replace your entire yard line and/or building line and for you to clean up the debris and restore the site can cost you many $1,000s. However, by pinpointing the leak using the UWLD&L and just repairing the leak, your costs are usually a few $100s. Detecting leaks is one vital area of life that if you don't want the job to put you in the poor house, you often must do the job yourself!
           The UWLD&L system is simple and straightforward to use. The UWLD&L is a system which is used for ground areas over or near the water line (for use in paved areas (concrete slabs, asphalt), you drill pairs of small holes in the pavement (drills and bits not included)) to detect and pinpoint the most likely location of water leaks. The UWLD&L comes with a wand with two pointed probes at the end, which are pushed into the earth alongside the water line, usually to a depth of 2" - 8" (depending on depth of water line, soil hardness and rocks in the soil). The UWLD&L detects and measures the resistance between the probes. If the soil resistance between the probes drop, then the soil is more conductive at that spot, and because soil conductivity is mostly affected by how moist the soil is, such resistance dips are almost always greatest at or near the exact location of the water leak. The UWLD&L is simple and easy to operate and comes with the wand probe set, digital test multimeter, cabling, and user manual. Note that we have several of these and they are all handmade with minor variations between them, the one you get may not be the one in the images (e.g. the make and model of meter in image also comes in red color).
           The UWLD&L is not limited to finding water leaks in fresh water lines, but can also be used to find leaks in swimming pools, sprinkler systems, irrigation systems, water pumps, valves, faucets, sewer systems, septic systems, fire hydrants, and water tanks.
           The UWLD&L has other possible non-leak uses. For example, it can be used to detect buried metal objects from metal pipes to buried coins and treasure, and conductive minerals. When resistance plunges for relatively short movements of the probes, it usually indicates close proximity to or contact with a metal object or mineral. When used in conjunction with a voltage source instead of the multimeter, the UWLD&L can be used to stimulate plant roots, and even to electrically stimulate earthworms to surface for gardening and fishing uses (voltage source not included). It can also be used to puncture the ground to aerate the soil, and even to pick up trash blown into the yard or tree.
           Note: Since we neither have control over your soil and leak conditions nor how you will use this device, we cannot guarantee the UWLD&L will pinpoint your water leaks, and we assume no liability for false positives, false negatives, locating a water leak after damage has already occurred or is imminent, failure to identify the exact location of a water leak, or for anything else related to your use of the UWLD&L device or your leak problems. Also, the UWLD&L detects only water leaks (don't use it on any non-water leak) that wets soil. Also, we are not licensed plumbers, so we don't make plumbing repairs or provide plumbing advice or opinions.
           HYPERSENSITIVE SOUND ALARM (HSA): Another very effective way to detect and locate water leaks (hydrophone) (plus non-water leaks: Air leaks, gas leaks, fuel leaks, chemical leaks, etc.), is by using The Hypersensitive Sound Alarm (which also has many other critical uses ranging from detecting people trapped in cave-ins and collapsed mines, buildings, tunnels, ditches, wells, avalanches, landslides, etc. (active earthquake zones, mining areas, avalanche areas, tsunami areas, war zones, terrorist target areas), hidden pest infestations, unknown and strange sounds, animal studies, home security / burglar alarm system, seismic activity, etc.). The HSA produces a highly amplified audio output and a sound alert output, and is described on this webpage. Water leaks and other leaks under pressure usually make spurting, spraying, gurgling or PSSS-type sounds; such low-intensity underground sounds usually cannot be heard by the naked ear - especially when the sounds are faint and your ears are 5+ feet off the ground. Since both soil conductivities and the conduction of sounds in the earth widely vary due to many soil and water leak factors, one device may work better than the other, and ideally one would use both devices for detecting and pinpointing water leaks.

Even the highest quality, most expensive audio amplifiers don't amplify signals much above 20 KHz (the human upper hearing limit) - they cannot amplify ultrasonic BW signals so are useless for ultrasonic detection purposes such as ultrasonic attack, ultrasonic mind control, ultrasonic communications, outputs of ultrasonic equipment (such as pest controllers / animal controllers, ultrasonic cleaning tools, ultrasonic welding, ultrasonic distance measuring, natural ultrasonic phenomena (e.g. bats, insects, etc.) or any other ultrasonic signals), or high-frequency sonar or high-frequency electric fields, magnetic fields or electromagnetic fields. While oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers will display very low intensity ultrasonic BW signals that come directly from an ultrasonic transducer, because some ultrasonic signals are extremely weak (microvolts), only the most expensive scopes will amplify them enough for decent viewing or analysis (and these usually require 1X probes). For most oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers, you need an external ultrasonic BW amplifier to provide adequate signal boosting if you want to view ultrasonic signals more than 1 cm peak-to-peak on the scope or spectrum analyzer display. Furthermore, since scopes are wideband, they will amplify and display all detected signals throughout their entire huge signal bandwidth. Thus, noise frequencies both below and above the ultrasound BW will also be amplified and displayed along with the ultrasonic BW frequencies (e.g. 60 Hz electrical power interference), thus making viewing and analysis of the ultrasonic frequencies on a commercial scope garbled up with all of the noise without an ultrasonic amplifier in between much more difficult and sometimes virtually impossible. And unamplified ultrasonic BW signals are useless for any direct application of these signals.

EPCOS PTC thermistors / current-limiting temperature sensors, positive temperature coefficient. Actual color is silver-grey. At 65 degrees F, resistance is about 40 ohm. These are great for temperature measuring and temperature switching circuits. For temperature switchers, simply wire them into a comparator IC, and have it switch when the temperature is too high, too low or within or outside your acceptable temperatures. These are also great for power buses - when a short circuit occurs, these temperature sensors heat up right away, resulting in a great increase in their resistance, which in turn limits the current. Not as fast as a fuse, but also is not likely to blow, so ideal for remote and unattended applications.

Used, works great; case stained. Baroid Fluid Resistivity Meter, Model 653, Baroid Testing Equipment. Measures the resistivity of fluids, liquids, slurries, filtrates and muds. Unit has two electrodes. Basically, you take a common smoking pipe cleaner (middle, right image), soak it with test fluid, place it across the electrodes, and view resistance. Or you can use two leads with alligator clips on one end, clip them onto the electrodes, and dip other end into the fluid (leads not included). Comes with a sturdy plastic case and Operator's Manual. Case latches, hinge and handles all in great condition. For operation, common to some older equipment, the Baroid Resistivity Meter, Model 653, requires a Burgess 22.5 volt battery. We don't believe they make this battery any longer, but 22.5 VDC can be produced by three 9-volt batteries wired in series and a LM317 adjustable voltage regulator IC set at 22.5VDC output (regulated output voltage more accurate than old Burgess batteries). For an extra $20, we will provide you an external plug-in 22.5 VDC battery-powered or AC-adapter powered power supply to power this unit. POWERFUL MIRRORED MULTI-COLORED STROBE /

Used and worksfine. This strobe is in a heavy duty steel chassis case, similar to the types of chassis and cases that HP and Tektronix builds their very high quality electronic test equipment into. The device is not labeled (no boilerplate), and we don't know who makes it or for what purposes it was made (when we bought it a few years ago, we was told that it originally came from Sandia Labs and used for multi-color laser applications like holography, but we can't verify this). HIGH-POWER RADIO TRANSMITTER TEST LOAD
RADIO DUMMY LOAD IN LIEU OF ANTENNA

Used and works fine. This is a dummy load for radio transmitter output testing (for ham operators to test loads to test transmitter outputs). The flat area stands at a tilt, and is about 2-3/4" on each side. Cable is about 10' long. If you know what its specs are or who made it, please let us know.

In radio, this device is also known as a dummy antenna or a radio frequency termination (RF termination / microwave termination). It is a large resistor used in place of an antenna to aid in testing a radio transmitter. It is substituted for the antenna while adjusting the transmitter, so that the transmitter does not actually transmit a signal during alignment, which might interfere with other licensed radio transmitters during the adjustments: [1] Also, if a transmitter is tested without a load, such as an antenna or a dummy load, the transmitter could be damaged. Also, if a transmitter is adjusted without a load, it will operate differently than with the load, and the adjustments may be incorrect. The dummy load ordinarily should be a pure resistance and heatsinked to prevent damage to it and to minimize thermal changes in resistance; and the amount of resistance should be the same as the impedance of the antenna or transmission line that is used with the transmitter (usually 50 O or 75 O). [2] The radio energy that is absorbed by the dummy load is converted to heat. A dummy load must be chosen or designed to tolerate the amount of power that can be delivered by the transmitter.

LARGE, ADJUSTABLE STEEL INDUCTOR COIL -
Great for Theremins, Antennas, Metal Detectors, Tank Circuits, Crafts, Toys, etc.

Used but in very good condition. We purchased this in an electronics surplus store. These large springy metal inductors have practically endless uses ranging from electronics, crafts, toys, model making, science projects / science fairs, etc. Compressed, they are 2-1/2" diameter and 2-1/2" long. The conductor coil itself is about 1/8" wide and 1/32" thick. It fully expands to about 10 feet long. Inductance varies from about 240 µH (240µH, 99% compressed) to less than 40 µH (40µH, extended to about 6 feet).

If you hold both ends and extend this metal inductor, it will sag in the middle. What we normally do is use a wood or plastic (not metal) broom handle, dowel rod, 2"x2" lumber, or heavy-duty carboard shipping tube as a stiff form to string the inductor out on to maintain spring shape. For those uses, such as antennas, where we need to keep the inductor length constant, we cement the ends to the form, and sometimes spot cement some of the spring coils in between.

I love to use these inductors in the tank circuits of homebuilt Theremin devices. A "Theremin" is an audio special effects device that dates back to about the 1920s, commonly used in those old horror and science fiction movies to produce those scary sounds. By expanding and compressing the coils, the circuit's LC tank circuit inductance is changed, thereby also changing the output frequencies, resulting in very unusual Theremin-like sounds. Similar sounds can also be produced by rubbing, flicking or moving the coils with an insulated iron bar. You can get endless hours of fun and entertainment out of it, and it has real potential of being developed into its own unique musical instrument to produces the really cool and unique sounds for some of today's music.

This inductor also serves as a pretty good antenna and metal detector coil. It has many exciting uses for the electronic hobbyist, and for science projects, science fairs, and classroom demonstrations. It can be used as a big, strong electromagnet because of the strong magnetic field it can be made to produce.

It also has crafts and shop uses. For examples, it can be used to make toys of various kinds, as well as other craft creations, such as lamps, figures, etc. And it can also be mechanically used to protect, reinforce and organize many different kinds of items such as bundles of wires and cables, long tools, tubes, pipes, rods and other shop stock.

This inductor looks a lot like a "slinky" toy. If it is a "slinky" toy it is not like any slinky that we played with as a kid, which were much larger and less springy feeling and not designed for electronic uses, and which we have never tested electronically.

Uses four common CC batteries. Includes leather case with felt lining. This is NOT sold for any medical reason, but can serve where permitted as salon equipment type (e.g. for facials), skin stimulator, and electronic laboratory pulse generator. This is one of many electronic stimulators and signal generators we used in our mind control and electronic attack research and have sold or are now selling because we have too many of the same types of equipment. GSR meter is a known excellent indicator of stress levels (e.g. used in polygraphs / lie detectors), therefore, by training yourself using biofeedback to reduce your GSR, you should also be able to relax better and reduce your stress levels, and thereby hopefully live a longer, happier and healthier life. The included soft-pinch electrodes are non-invasive and hold onto the attached surface with light force (no tape or cement is required). We found that this great GSR meter provided us so much information about my physical self and was so useful in helping us better relax that we designed as part of a Lone Star Consulting, Inc. (El Paso, TX) project an advanced GSR meter (one that employs ultrasound to help trigger stronger and more definitive GSRs) which we currently use so we no longer need this one. The two big, Eveready Energizer No. 266 (Neda 1605) 9-volt batteries it came with are depleted. CARBON COMPOSITE CONE FORM / CONE SHAPE,

Looks new but we can't tell for sure. Heavy, very hard, and apparently a 100% carbon composite cone form, apparently precision-machined and not cast. We can barely scratch it with a sharp X-Acto knife. Actual weight is 1.5 lbs and feels very solid. Base is 6.5" diameter, and it is about 3" tall. Undersided (not shown) is hollow in the cone area, about 2" deep to tip of cone, making the cone surface itself probably about 1" thick. Base "ring" is solid 1.25" wide all around and 1" tall. Material is an electrical insulator material and not magnetic. This is definitely some kind of industrial, scientific or laboratory type cone form. Can be used as a form for shaping, as some kind of mount or mold form, for scientific experiments and science fairs, to launch experimental rockets from, for various crafts, general shop uses, display uses, as part of a mold for casting, and as a cover of some type - many possible different uses. We collect weird scientific and electronic devices, and this is the first one of these we 've ever run into. Do you know what it is? This is apparently one of those kinds of things that when you need one, they are almost impossible to find and nothing else will do.

Used device, and it worked very well last time we used it (3 years ago). We then removed it from its installation to do a home improvement, and stored it inside. We are not able to test this detection system, so we can't now test it on a practical basis to see if it still works, so we can't guarantee it other than it does power up. Great for burglar alarms and security systems, and for scientific experimentation. It works by projecting a lens-focused light beam (not laser) from a light beam emitter to its light beam detector (a photocell). Anything interrupting the light beam is detected as an intrusion. The device cases show some cosmetic wear and tear from handling and installation.

Frankly, this is a smaller, compact lower-end model that's great for youngsters, beginners, occasional metal detector hobbyists, as a backup unit, to explore particularly grimy or risky situations where you don't want to expose your best unit, as an area pre-screening metal detector, as a training tool, construction sites, as a stage prop, and where storage would preclude one of those big grand units. These magnetic transducers / magnetic probes / magnetic electrodes / magnetic field probes / brainwave electrodes / brain probes can be used for both detecting/receiving and transmitting magnetic fields and as a small electromagnets, depending upon the piece of equipment it is connected to (under 100ma current). Originally bought for brainwave research, these magnetic transducers can be used for many applications, including but not limited to, brainwave detection, other psychic and paranormal research, other medical/biomedical research, small magnetic field detection, small metal detection, bug detection/tap detection (as well as bugging and tapping), some implant detection, isolated communications, material flaw detection, magnetic therapies, magnetic stimulations, magnetic key decoding, etc. These magnetic probes are also ideal for many magnetometer and field-strength meter devices and uses.

Cable length is 6-foot and is of a very high quality and pliable coaxial cable (coaxial cabling is required to absolutely minimize electrical noise pick-up). These magnetic transducers are about 3/16" diameter and about 1/4" long - an incredible 8.2mh inductance for their tiny size. On the other end is connected a mini-phone plug (we also have a few each with RCA plug, sub-mini phone plug and spade lugs, so if you need one of these, let us know). These magnetic transducers will both receive and transmit magnetic energy from about 0.3 Hz to about 300 KHz pulse, modulated and sinewave signals - covering the entire audio frequency bandwidth (BW), as well as most of the infrasonic BW and air ultrasonic BW.

When used in conjunction with a commercially-available audio amplifier or recorder, these magnetic transducers should be wired in as a dynamic microphone. Both infrasonic amplifiers and ultrasonic amplifiers are also available from us.

For use with living tissues (plant or animal), penetration or even direct contact to surface is not required, however, contact should be as close to surface as possible as air gaps diminish effectiveness. This means that these magnetic probes are non-invasive, and one does not have to use a gel, shave the area, touch the skin or other surface, or suffer electrode irritation (common to skin contact and invasive electrodes) to effectively use it. And that these magnetic probes can be effectively used over most light clothing and plastic wrap. As with all magnetic transducers, especially those used for sensitive or precision magnetic detection jobs, the magnetic transducer should be held as steadily as possible. This can be done using a steady hand, rubber bands, velcro or shower cap with a hole in it to pass the cable or tape (none of these are provided). For permanent use and non-living area contact, you might also consider using a cement, glue or other firm adhesive to attach the transducer rock-solid to the surface.

Cable length is 6-foot and is of a very high quality and pliable coaxial cable (coaxial cabling is required to absolutely minimize electrical noise pick-up). The rubberized front end is about 4" long and 1-1/2" in diameter, improves mike directionality, makes these ultrasonic transducers / ultrasonic mikes more comfortable to hold and use, and more immune to such things as dropping or twisting of the cable around the mike. On the other end is connected a stereo miniphone plug (we also have some with spade lugs, so if you need one with spade lug connectors, let us know). This high quality ultrasonic transducer with built-in preamp at transducer end will detect and amplify ultrasonic energy 15 KHz to about 200 KHz BW (e.g. ultrasound sinewave tones and ultrasound carrier frequencies modulated with conversation, control signals or data; and about 100 KHz BW for digital ultrasounds). 200 KHz is about the useful upper BW limit for air-transmitted ultrasounds (skin contact ultrasonic generators, such as medical ultrasonic transmitters, transmit into the MHz band but because of the extreme attenuation of MHz ultrasounds in the air, the effective air range for MHz ultrasounds is less than about one inch). Preamp gain is about 50 so even faint ultrasounds are amplified to the point of being easily and cleanly displayable on an oscilloscope (not provided). The microphone is very sensitive to ultrasonic sounds.

DC voltage is externally applied (9VDC - 12 VDC) (e.g. a 9-volt radio battery, not supplied). The mike can be handheld. It is very deaf to low-frequency "bumping" noises, breathing noises and wind noises one usually gets from a typical handheld audio band mike - a big plus. We provide a connector diagram to show +V (DC power), Signal Out, and Ground plug conductors. All you have to do is hook up your battery between +V and Ground, and feed Signal Out and Ground to your scope. We also provide you two free compatible jacks for it (see below).

Again, this special wideband ultrasonic transducer is especially designed to be very sensitive to ultrasounds and also especially designed to NOT be very sensitive to audio band (and infrasonic band) sounds so that it can pick up even weak ultrasounds in an environment which also has a large component of audio and infrasonic sounds such as talk, music, noise, and subsonic sounds that you can't hear but which can mix with audio sounds to produce annoying sum and difference frequency sounds in the audio band. Even very expensive audio mikes are rarely sensitive at frequencies above 20 KHz.

For proper use, this ultrasound mike works best with a compatible ultrasound amplifier / ultrasonic amplifier. Because it rejects audio, it will not work properly with an audio amplifier that does not extend well into the ultrasonic band. This ultrasonic microphone is designed for ultrasonic use only. We also sell such a compatible ultrasonic amplifier that also highly rejects audio sounds (see my webpages), called the Wideband Ultrasonic Amplifier; we have tested both together and they work great together. Since there is no way that we can test this special ultrasonic mike on every ultrasonic amplifier that might be available worldwide (and there may be substantial differences in the ultrasonic transducers other amplifiers use), we cannot guarantee that this ultrasonic mike will work with any other ultrasonic amplifier except with our Wideband Ultrasonic Amplifier.

The biomedical electrode's 1/8" dia. orange cabling is extraordinarily supple for greatest comfort and least probability of electrode moving or detaching when the subject moves around, or of becoming entangled. And due to its insulation thickness, it is very resistive to shorts, current leakage, and high-voltage arc-overs.

One end of the biomedical electrode is terminated with a bifurcated "soft pinch" type non-invasive electrode that should not cause pain or bruising to anything almost without regard to where placed, and yet holds on strongly enough to resist detachment because of slippage or some motion. The biomedical electrode can be shaped to some extent by the experimenter using alligator pliars for different / lesser / greater grips (one example: to shape them to go around curved surfaces). The spring-operated biomedical electrode is made of steel (copper-like color in images is artifact of photo under exposure - biomedical electrodes are bright, shiny steel), and is about 2" long, 3/16" wide, bifurcated at its business end, and is reinforced to the cable with a sheath of about 2" of durable black plastic for years of reliable use.

The bifurcated electrode is far superior in versatility and usefulness than the common single-end electrode because: (1) It permits better gripping and contact on uneven surfaces and soft surfaces for the same pressure, (2) It allows for more accurate spot check readings taken between the bioelectric electrode tynes (e.g. connecting up an oscilloscope or meter directly to the electrode in situ; oscilloscope and meter not included), (3) It allows for the interleaving of two biomedical electrodes (e.g. while one electrode transmits a signal to the subject, the other electrode monitors the signal within a fraction of an inch from each other), and (4) Other electrode types, connectors and devices (and more than one at the same time) can be screwed directly to the electrode through the slot between the tynes.

On the other end of the electrode cable is an "eye" connector (i.e. lug connector with a hole for screw-mounting). We also have these biolelectric electrodes with spade lug, banana plug and with pin termination (specify if you prefer either). This connector end is generally connected to the equipment using a screw (screws sizes up to #8), and is plated for optimum conductivity. This end is also reinforced to the cable with a sheath of durable black plastic for maximum electrode life time. This connector can be soldered or screwed to the other connector types you use at your end.

After many 100s of hours of using these biomedical electrode types, including some high voltage and outdoors uses, we have found them to be very useful, reliable and versatile, and have not broken one yet. The biomedical electrode cabling to be resilient to aging, cracking, dirt, grime, grease, oils, salt water, light acids, light alkalies, solvents, current leaks, shorts, arcing over, high and low temperatures, and high and low humidities.

(15) SHIELDED "BRAINWAVE" INDUCTORS, 5 mH, 11ohm

New old stock (NOS). These shielded inductors are square and about 5/16" on a side and 3/8" tall (excluding pins). Coil is center-tapped (3-pins). Inductance is tunable from about 3mH to about 7.5mh (nominally set at about 5mH). These 5mH inductors are very useful in a variety of designs, including signal, RF, pulse generation, pick-up coil, transmitting coil, etc. We mostly use them to design some brainwave detection devices as they are sensitive to brainwaves.
