VINTAGE MOTORIZED HANDHELD DREMEL, MODEL A,
HOBBY SCROLL SAW, JIG SAW, RECIPROCATING SAW
This is a used vintage handheld motorized Dremel scroll saw / jigsaw / reciprocating saw, Model A, and works great. Operates off of 115 VAC, 60 Hz, 50 watt. This Dremel jigsaw uses common 3" scroll saw blades. Throat is 10" deep for easily doing even deep work. Can use modified blades to also do sanding, grinding, polishing and slicing. Being able to handhold a powered scroll saw means that you can much more easily do difficult jobs in tight situations, fast, accurately and with minimal stress, strain and risk to you and the work. For example, this is a great tool to use if you've got to cut a pipe underneath your sink or car. This scroll saw can be used as a great collectible, or very versatile and useful shop saw, craft saw, model-making saw, automotive saw, and construction site saw.

RARE WALL MFG. TRIO-R-HEAT TL-650/U SOLDERING

NO. 2100 HANDLE PISTOL GRIP
Used and in great condition. Rare Wall Mfg. Trio-R-Heat TL-650/U Soldering Gun (No. 2100 power handle, pistol grip), no tip or dual heating element, comes with a 1-page User Manual. Bottom hole (7/8" dia) has a light bulb (which works), bayonet car type. Top hole (5/8" dia) normally fits a dual soldering heating element, last we looked, both the heating elements and tips were still available (Sears). Also, many other useful plug-ins can be fabricated to use here. Trigger action results in a clicking snap switching action, so you have a firm feel as to when it is triggered ON and OFF. We bought these originally to experiment with possible stun gun applications, and for highly directional remote control applications ("point-and-shoot"). This Wall Mfg. Trio-R-Heat Soldering Gun is almost identical to the Sears Craftsman Professional Soldering Gun, Model 579-273200, 400/150 watts. We have both, and use the same heating element in either with no problem. The only known functional different between these Wall TL-650/U Trio-R-Heat Soldering Guns and the Craftsman 579-273200 Soldering Guns is that the Wall Soldering Guns have a push-ON / push-OFF light switch in the back, while the Craftsman Soldering Gun light comes on only when the trigger is pulled. The Wall also looks better built than the Craftsman. The "400/150 watts" means that the soldering gun idles at 150 watts, but kicks up to 400 watts when applied - which puts it way up on the upper end when it comes to power compared to almost all other soldering guns, which usually top out at 125 - 150 watts when used.

VERSATILE CHROME STEEL SNARE DRUM HOLDER

Used chrome steel snare drum clamp / drum holder, and it works great. Holds drums or any other round objects from 10" to 17" in diameter. Will also hold oval, triangular and odd-shaped objects. Also, can be configured to hold boards, stock and picture frames. This is done by moving the middle tyne inward and then placing the board, stock or picture frame in the space between the two outer tynes and the inner tyne.

(12) SEKISUI HEATSINKS - GREAT FOR CRAFTS
New old stock (NOS). Sekisui Heat Sinks. 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 1/4" anodized aluminum. Slots are 1 mm wide and 3/16" deep. Peel off, self-sticking backs. Originally designed to cool PLCC ICs and CPUs, however, they have many uses. They can be placed onto just about anything for cooling. The lamps we used to help these take these images tended to overheat, we slapped on one heatsink on each lamp, which now keep them much cooler. These Sekisui heatsinks have other uses as well. For example, the slots can be used to hold thin shelving; it takes 6 of them for 1-8 shelf levels, two heat sinks on each back corner and one heat sink on each front side, then slide in the shelf or shelves, the distance between shelves can then be fine-tuned. Shelving can be horizontal or vertical. These heatsinks also have various craft uses.

ADSL POTS PHONE LOW PASS FILTER BOXES
These new Umec ADSL Pots UT20145 telephone low pass filter phone boxes are really great, especially for the experimenter! These were originally made for - and still function very well as - line filters for DSL applications. The enclosures themselves are heavy-duty plastic 4" x 2-1/4" x 1". As you see, the circuit board is easily removed, letting you use this nice enclosure for prototype projects you may be working on - high quality substitutes for expensive Budd boxes. It has a flange that protrudes from the base 1/2" on each side with a center hole for convenient mounting. The board itself has 3 RJ-11 phone jacks: One phone jack for the Line, one for filtered Output and one for unfiltered Output. The PC board also consists of sets of series inductors and parallel capacitors used to perform the low pass filter function. The enclosure cut-outs for the RJ-11 connectors can be used for other connectors, or you can cut off the RJ-11 connectors from the boards and mount them on your own circuit board. RJ-11 cables are very common and inexpensive, and can be used for many phone and non-phone applications. The 3db cut-off is 7 KHz. Attenuation is 12db at 8 KHz, 60db at 20 KHz, and 72db at 40 KHz. Insertion loss from 200 Hz to 4 KHz is 0.5db. These connectors, inductors and capacitors can easily be removed, changed or added to should you need to change your low-pass filter characteristics or even to change the filter to bandpass filters.
