Used and in very good condition. Propane Torch with Piezo Start. Harbor Freight. Bought new, used it once last summer on weeds, it worked great, but structures were too close, so won't use again. Used and in very good condition. Steel Imperial Eastman Gripping & Holding Tool. Will tightly grip and hold round, hexagonal, or odd-shaped objects from about 1/8" (middle image) to about 3/4" dia. New fittings that were assembled but apparently never used. These Swagelok fittings all appear to be new. This plumbing combinations consists of two T's, one elbow, and two end plugs. The end plugs have through holes to tie them securely down with wire once installed. All parts are 18 TPI, 1/2" diameter thread fittings. The assembly is 3-3/4" long and 3" tall.

New. We don't know exactly what these fascinating tools do but they came as part of a lot of expensive Swagelok valves, so we assume they are Swagelok valve tools. We have been told that these tools are used to hold a Tee Union to tighten up the Swagelok fittings. It's special arms can reach around each port making it much easier to use than a plain wrench. We know of no other tool that duplicates or even approximates their function.

Four hex bolts attach the two sections. This valve is 9.75" long, 3.25" diameter. The solenoid says 11 watts on it. The pipe stem is 1-1/2" O.D. and 1-1/8" we.D., and 1" long. Another opening is at the bottom, and it is 2" O.D. and 1-1/8" we.D.

Like new condition. We got this item from a shop that was closing. It appears to be a small muffler, 8.375" long, 1.75" diameter in the middle, with a 3/4"-wide threaded end (O.D.), 14-threads/inch. Ruggedly built. Other end is bent up slightly with an oval exit hole. My best guess is that it is bronze but we are not absolutely sure. Viewing through one end shows that path to other end is completely clear. Speaking loudly through one end results in highly muffled and attenuated sound coming out of other end. At first we thought that this was some kind of deluxo gun silencer, but the curved end would make it useless as a gun silencer. Asking around, we was told that it was probably a muffler for a small gas engine like a motorcycle, big lawnmower, skooter or similar, but nobody had a make or model in mind.

Used and in great condition. Works great as we just tested it. Heavy duty vacuum pump popular in scientific laboratories. Pump port is 1/4" standard plumbing pipe nipple. Both pump and 12" diameter hollow aluminum vacuum plate are shown on 1' x 1' tiled floor background. Aluminum plate is about 1" thick, and has two top-side holes in it as shown. The hose that connects the two together is shown wrapped around the plate, which has a control valve. The pump can be operated with or without the plate. If the plate is not exactly what you need, you might be able to modify it to suit your needs or use something else. Pump has a sturdy and convenient carrying handle, and is very ruggedly constructed.

New in original tube, but we don't know what this Clippare Minimatic MWV-1 valve actuator does. On one end is a brass fitting that looks identical to the type used on 1/4-copper water line. It has a nut on it that indicates that it is attached to a tank wall of some kind. On the other end, connected to this fitting it looks like a small spring with a 3" or so long fine wire extending from the spring. We assume that a change in the pressure, temperature or flow rate of the liquid or gas that it monitors somehow changes the characteristics of this spring/wire extension.

(Sorry, we are sold out of this Vacuum Chamber, we are trying to get more). Used and in good condition. Some external surface rust and discoloration. Rare, perhaps unique, versatile steel laboratory device. Can be used as a vacuum chamber, pressure cooker, distiller, mixing chamber, processing chamber, autoclave, etc. We bought it used, and have no idea what the original purpose or design of this device was, but whatever it was, it is certainly modifiable for other uses. The metal tube extending from the bottom is hollow, so probably used to remove or insert container contents. In bottom, right hand image, the inside of the bottom part appears to be brownish - it is not brownish (or dirty or rusty) but image color is a photo effect - its coloration is shiny metal about the same as the inside of the top part in that image. There is a fine mesh screen at the bottom (which contributes to its brownish appearance) which can be removed. The left image shows a height-adjustable 2-5/8" diameter platform, which can be used to hold a bunsen burner, flask, chemical container, reservoir, etc., depending on your application. The screw press on the top plus the bayonet-type locking mechanism at the bottom tightly secures the container parts together and to the frame for great resistance against both high pressures and low pressures. Standard plumbing fitting at the top of the top part lets you connect up a hose and/or pressure meter (hose and pressure meter not included). This chemical laboratory device is 19" high, 5-1/2" wide (across frame), 7-3/4" wide across base. Gap in frame is 4-9/16" wide. Each frame part is 1-1/2" wide, and about 1/2" thick. Pressure rating is unknown.

Mint condition with no evidence of use we can find. We bought this at an estate sale where the family described it as a, "cryogenics cylinder." They did not know specific function or manufacture. We know little about cryogenics. Base diameter is 5.75". It is 7.25" tall with the base, and 7" tall without the base (i.e. just the cylinder). Cylinder outer diameter is 4", and its chamber opening is 3.75" diameter, 4.25" deep. On top are two 1" high ports, 1" outer diameter, 3/4" inner diameter (opening), non-threaded, spaced 2.625" apart (center-to-center). One port is bevelled at the top, the other is flat at the top. The bevelled-opening port extends into the chamber 1.375" deep as an aluminum tube, and opens into the chamber with a hole on side of this tube. The flat-opening port opens into some kind of "attic" above the chamber, which opens into the chamber with a port about 1" in diameter covered with a very fine mesh. Cylinder press fits into the base (no threads).

While one port has teflon tape on it, the valves appear to be new. Brass Nihonpis Co. (made in Singapore) needle valves, manually controlled with locking ferrule so that once you determine the air flow you need, you can lock it in (I usually use two in series, one set for my exact flow rate and the other turned either all Off or all On). One port is 1/4" with threading finer than 1/4" plumbing threads used in swamp cooler lines, and the other port uses a compression fitting that measures at 4mm diameter (or 3/16"). NPT? The valves are 1-3/8" long from the end of the round turning knob to the 1/4" opening, and 1-1/8" long from the end of the red cap to the bottom of the valve. The bottom blue part is 1/2" thick. Many apparent uses, but valves of this high quality are normally used in laboratories, the medical / healthcare industries or the making of semiconductors (believed to be Intel surplus). We do not know what the pressure rating the valves are, or the part number. Because of the plastic part of the valve, valves are not suitable for soldering, brazing or welding.
