SEARCHING FOR ITEMS: Items are enterred in this webpage mostly based on order we obtain them. Please use top-right search box or your Browser Search / Find feature to locate the specific Items of interest or just browse webpage. We listed many Items by more than one name and name variation (e.g. "security seals", "safety seals", "numbered seals", "anti-pilferage seals"). If you can't find Item on webpage, try by other name variations, and then by function and functional variations, then search our other likely webpages, see SITEMAP for links.

ITEM CONDITIONS: Unless otherwise indicated, all items described on this webpage are new old stock (NOS) and never used. We often buy and trade for new electronic parts, electronic test equipment, and other items of the types described herein, preferably in larger quantities, some which we set aside for our own electronic laboratory, shop and other inventories and some we resell herein. Should you have items to sell or trade of these types, please let us know via email. All small parts and materials we acquire for resale herein must be new, but we often buy and trade for used large parts, tools, equipment and books in very good conditions, which we describe as "used" for those we resell. Please email us (please don't call as we are often in our labs), use email Subject: "Buy/Sell/Trade Inquiry."

DESCRIPTIONS & IMAGES: Unlike many Online stores, our goal is to always provide you clear and correct item images, and accurate and reasonably complete item descriptions. While we have tried to be 100% accurate in our descriptions and images, please freely let us know of any errors or omissions made herein, for example, by emailing us URLs to relevant datasheets. While images usually help, most of the items we sell are already well known. If any of our descriptions or images are missing, incomplete or inaccurate and this affects your purchase decision, please email us (please don't phone; put "Need Better Info for Item" in email Subject Line) so we can make reasonable corrections. Many of our images of electrical and electronic hardware do not show all of the leads or cabling which the actual items have so that we can provide bigger and clearer images of the body of the items to better show part numbers, labeling, features and cosmetic conditions.

POLICIES: Unless explicitly stated otherwise on this webpage, all applicable Techzonics organization policies are found at: www.consumertronics.net/policies.htm.

PAYMENTS: We accept checks, money orders, PayPal (PP), Money Transfer Service (MTS) payment, trade and cash. Simply email us (wizguru) a list of what you want (Title, name or part # of each choice), include the prices with S/H, and your name, shipping address and preferred payment method, or use one of our Consumertronics Online Order Forms. We ship within 2 work days after full payment clearance period from day of deposit. All payments must be made in $US. Details below:
     (1) FASTEST SHIPPING: U.S. Postal Money Order (PMO), Canadian PMO (made out in $US), PP, MTS and cash are considered to be same-as-cash by us - clearance period is zero days. Note: We are not responsible for cash sent in the mails, so conceal well.
     (2) MOs & CHECKS DETAILS: Pay to: "Consumertronics". ALL NON-PMO MOs & CHECKS : Clearance period: 10+ days if $20-$100, 20+ days if $101-$250, 30+ days if over $250.
     (3) MONEY TRANFER SERVICES (MTS) DETAILS: Pay to: "John Williams" (due to fact that using MTS to pay to a business name is usually a major hassle). All MTS payments over $500 require prior written approval by us. While almost all MTS arrive here within an hour, a few may take 1-3 days.
     (4) PAYPAL (PP) DETAILS: Before paying us by PP, email us with your order details and for our prior approval. Should we verify that your amount is correct and approve PP for you, go to PP. Do a PP "Send Money" to: "wizguru@consumertronics.net". PP over $50 require prior, explicit, written approval by us via email, and PP payers must be Verified PP users, which transaction PP must provide Seller Protection. For both verifiable and repeat Buyers, ABQ Techzonics may greatly increase the PP limit, in which case, it emails to Buyer his/her new PP level.
     (5) ITEMS FOR TRADE DETAILS: Who doesn't want to save cash these days! We do accept Items of Trade. By doing Items For Trade, you save money and get rid of good Item(s) you need less than Items we offer. Prior explicit permission from us is required before you ship to us any Item for trade. If interested, email us (wizguru, put in email Subject Line: "Item for Trade Inquiry.") with full details of what you have to offer and what you want for it (you must have sole and exclusive ownership of all Items you offer to us for trade). Include complete description of all Item(s), including Item make and model/part numbers, conditions, quantities, defects. Please do NOT phone us about Items of trade. If interested we will email you back with conditional acceptance or a counteroffer. If mutual acceptance results, we will then email you our permission to ship the Items, which you do at your S/H expense. Once your trade Items arrive here, we will examine them, which usually takes 3-20 days. If acceptable to us, we will ship (at our S/H expense within 2 work days) what we had agree to trade to you. Note: We do not want old TVs,VCRs, home systems, computers, monitors or peripherals or big, heavy items, and all items must be clean and safe to ship and handle. Again, don't ship us anything until you receive our written explicit approval to do so.
     (6) PAY EXACT FULL AMOUNT: Please pay the exact full amount of your purchase + S/H (email us if you are not sure). If you overpay us by more than 5% or $100 (whichever is less), allow 90-120 days for us to refund you the difference.
     (7) UNACCEPTABLE PAYMENT TYPES: No credit cards, debit cards, CODs, partial payments, postdated payments, "on approvals", direct bank transfers, gift cards, foreign currency, bitcoins (or any other form of virtual money), or any other types of payments or shipment not explicitly OKed herein or by us in writing prior to payment. Furthermore, we reserve the right to refuse any order, form of payment, or buyer-imposed sale or shipping conditions without liability to us. For our good buyers: We are more flexible in types of payments and shipping conditions. FOREIGN BUYERS: Some items may be restricted by government regulations for export, and Buyers assume all liability for the legality of our shipments to them and their purchases, possessions and uses of the items we ship to them.

NOTE: Prior to Paying for Your Order, be sure to first check and verify by email our stated availabilities, costs, and S/H. Due to a recently past staff shortage over last few years, we are trying to catch up. Availabilities: About 95% of Items listed as available are still available. Prices: About 50% of Items have changed prices, both up and down, depends on the Item. S/H: Increase all stated S/Hs by 25% (blame the shippers). Taxes: New Mexico and some other States, Counties and Cities (but not all) now levy an Online sales tax, which if due, we must collect (blame the politicians). Also, do not pay by PayPal without our prior, explicit and written OK (due to hacking attempts on our PP account; if we need to refund a PP payment for any reason, we charge the Buyer a 10% fee).

PRICING: We are flexible in our prices and S/H - especially for our good customers and for quantity and multi-item orders - we want to be fair to both you and us. Prices are stated below Item Description. We determined Item price based on prices of similar items found Online and in stores. In cases of no clear Online or store price consensus, other sources were used. If our price is too high for any item we sell, we will seriously consider reducing our price - especially if you document that others are selling this same or equivalent item at lower prices in the quantity you need - our goal is to beat our competitors! For many items, we are not limited to the quantities shown - should you need more and we have what you need available, we will seriously consider your offer. By buying an item in quantity and/or more than one item, you much reduce your S/H costs per unit. In most cases we can also do less quantity if your total order is $10+ (+S/H) and average price of your items is $5+ each. Just email us with your needs, your counter-offers, and/or items you want to trade.

SPECIAL DISCOUNTS: Until ___________, 20___, you may take _______% off of the price of any and all Items described on this webpage in which the word "Firm" does not appear next to the price.

SPECIAL QUANTITY DEALS SAVES YOU MONEY: Larger quantity (and multiple Item and local pickup and delivery) sales almost always result in per-unit $Item-plus-S/H savings for YOU! We have some Items in much larger quantities than offered above as usually stated in Item description. Yes, if we have the quantity to meet your higher quantity needs, we will seriously consider any reasonable and mutually fair offer you propose which will not only get you the quantity you need but at a substantial savings to you in per unit price and per unit S/H costs (quantity evenly divisible by 10 or 25). We will seriously consider underselling all other major sellers of the same items.

SHIPPING & HANDLING & COMBINED CHARGES: Where S/H is stated, it is stated for CONTINENTAL USA ORDERS. Shipping part of S/H is based on actual Shipping charges. For multiple Items shipped to you in the same package, we will COMBINE S/H CHARGES to save YOU money! So buy all of the Items you need from us now. Where S/H is not stated, the following S/H charges apply (NOTE: All purchases over $1,000, while prepaid, are available for pickup only, proper ID is required, and receiver must sign a receipt for all Items):

1' WIDE HEAVY-DUTY STEEL SCREENING
GALVANIZED STEEL HARDWARE CLOTH
FERMI CAGE / FARADAY CAGE EMF SHIELDING SCREEN
Helps Protect Against Mind Control, Electronic Attacks - Does Much More!

New old stock (NOS). Sold by the foot - price is per foot. 1-foot wide Heavy-Duty Steel Screening (Hardware Cloth), Galvanized Steel, with small, tight diamond-shaped openings. Very hard to find these days. This screen is 3-4 times thicker than window screen. Great for wide ranges of screening needs, including window screens and door screens, screening dirt for concrete and lawn jobs, mining operations (e.g. gold mining), electromagnetic shielding (EMF shielding), animal cages, sports, fireplaces, HVAC, automotive, filtration systems, tool and parts cleaning baskets, storage baskets, fish traps, self-defense shields, decorative screens, crafts screens and scaffolding, storm protection, etc. Larger openings than typical window screens, this screen permits much better air flow and visibility while still blocking houseflies and other bugs and debris. Provides great protection in many applications while permitting good ventilation and visibility. And this steel screen is thick and strong, greatly resists tearing, deforming and corrosion. Holes spaced 1/4" and 1/6" apart. Purchases are cut from the roll shown.
Originally bought for Lone Star Consulting, Inc., El Paso, TX (www.lonestarconsultinginc.com) for its pioneering work in mind control, electronic attack and electronic harassment detection and countermeasures technologies. This steel screen was bought for Faraday cages / Fermi cages, and similar Faraday- and Fermi-type assemblies and other shielding, antenna and electrical grounding uses, including shielding computers, cellphones, cordless phones, ipods, ipads and other wireless devices from external hacking through EMF fields. Excessive quantity originally bought, this is the surplus we are selling. "MITIGATING IED DEATHS & DESTRUCTION"
IMPROVISED EXPLOSIVE DEVICES COUNTERMEASURES
Our Government Never Listens to Great Ideas!

I am an engineer (M.S.E.E.) with a great invention idea on how to mitigate the deaths and destructions caused by IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices). I am a Disabled Veteran (Vietnam Era). On Sept. 23, 2006, we lost a beloved nephew in Iraq due to an IED (Sgt. Velton Locklear III) - a talented athlete and musician. Thousands of our warriors have been killed because of IEDs and 10,000s seriously injured, and more get killed or wounded from IEDs almost every day. Since then, I have been in search of invention ideas to minimize the losses of life, injuries and destroyed equipment caused by IEDs.

The trend towards Government solutions to any problem consists of huge, expensive, complex and inefficient implementations which usually work poorly. Just as we should have learned in Vietnam when we discovered that the M16 was clearly no match for the much simpler and sturdier AK47 assault rifle, that usually simpler, cheaper and more practical solutions work much better. Logic also states that if something can be defeated, if you make it bigger and heavier, it too can be defeated. However, huge, costly and complex implementations make powerful Government contractors even richer, so that is how technologies are chosen. And by implementing defective ideas, Government contractors guarantee future work and profits in their proposals for modifications to correct flaws. This same self-serving merry-go-round has existed for decades.

When it comes to defending against IEDs, the trend has been towards thicker and heavier steel plating and V-shaped vehicle hulls - all of which are counterproductive and defeatable. My invention idea should be much more effective in mitigating explosions than heavy steel plating. And heavy steel plating leads to sluggishness, lack of control, bogging down, and poor mileage. My invention idea is not limited to the bottoms of vehicles, but is applicable to all vehicle sides, and to bunkers, and possibly even to bomb-resistant clothing. And my invention idea is not restricted to IEDs, but can also provide protection against many other types of explosive devices, such as RPGs (Rocket-Propelled Grenades) - another big threat. And my invention idea is much cheaper and simpler to implement than thicker armor plates, and can retrofit vehicles in the field.

There is much Washington lip service dedicated to IED defenses. However, when it comes to actually making serious efforts to try to find real solutions, there is no one in sight. Like Don Quixote tilting at windmills and Diogenes's search for the honest man, I have not been able to find a single technically qualified, trustworthy and authoritative person in Government to divulge my invention idea to who is willing to acknowledge receipt of my idea and spend at least an hour or so to seriously evaluate it, and inform me of his/her/their evaluation results. I have not asked the Government for any money - only for full credit and public recognition for my idea should they test it or use it. I have emailed President Obama, Senator Jeff Bingaman and Rep. Martin Heinrich to no avail (I didn't waste my time on Senator Tom Udall because Tom Udall has a long anti-military and anti-veteran history). I have emailed a dozen Veterans organizations, with only a half-hearted response from one. I emailed The Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, Dr. Jonathan Woodson, M.D. (Pentagon, Room 3E1070, Washington, D.C. 20301-1200), the primary Government official responsible for developing methods to mitigate IED deaths and injuries - also no response!

I have been told that: 'The Department of Defense often puts out RFPs (Requests for Proposals) to meet certain needs, but that to try to get someone from DoD to actually review or evaluate an "invention idea," or concept, but not an actual working invention itself, is problematical, and will likely not garner serious consideration even if presented to the "right" person.' The problem with the apparent requirement of presenting working models first is that only people and businesses with the wherewithal to design, develop and test IED defense technology can be taken seriously, limits new ideas only to the large corporate contractors currently already being heavily rewarded for their costly, complex, impractical and ineffective ideas. Fact is, technology feasibility can be determined without working models.

Based on my experiences, if you just simply mail a great invention idea to someone in Government you believe should be qualified and in a position of responsibility to properly evaluate your idea, your idea will either be ignored or ripped-off. It is just not me - there are many technical people in America who have great ideas to improve our Country in so many ways but no one in official Government positions to listen to them and fairly and seriously evaluate their ideas while protecting their intellectual rights. What a huge waste of our resources! The biggest thing that our Government can do to both solve serious problems and promote new businesses and technologies is to establish an office where great ideas can be presented, acknowledged, evaluated, protected and rewarded. However, since this would mean more competition for powerful corporate giants, it will never happen.

It is clear that our Government won't give us the time of day on my invention idea to mitigate deaths and destruction caused by IEDs unless we design, build and test IED countermeasures devices ourselves and then provide it with working models. Therefore, if we are able to do so, we will design, build and test my IED defense invention idea ourselves!

"MITIGATING IED DEATHS & DESTRUCTION - Our Government Never Listens to Great Ideas!" is a short publication - mostly what I have stated herein. It does not detail my invention idea nor does it provide designs or plans for it. Hopefully, we will make enough sales of our booklet to at least afford to get started on my IED defense device ourselves. We currently have small shops and laboratories outfitted for electronic design and fabrication, but not suitable for a big mechanical project like this. If after several months we have not raised enough money to have a reasonable chance of completing our anti-IED project, we will simply donate the balance to charity and/or church.

I am not a Johnny-come-lately who just suddenly came up with one great idea. Consider:
          (1) In 2000, I discovered how The Great Pyramid of Egypt was built (Khufu's Pyramid (Egyptian name), Cheops's Pyramid (Greek name)). The mystery of how Khufu's Pyramid was built was referred to as the "Riddle of the Ages" - stumping some of the greatest minds of mankind for many centuries. Until my theory of a near-centrally located hydraulic elevator, the most accepted theory among Archaeologists is The Ramp Theory. But to build a 481-foot tall, 10-degree or less ramp requires about 7 times more material than what went into the Pyramid itself, would probably wash out from the first storm, is impractical for hauling heavy loads on log rollers, and would have had to be totally removed after the Pyramid was built (while there is evidence of a ramp, it extended only about 40 feet high to the Queen's Chamber). The Ancient Egyptians were brilliant people - no way would they have built anything that big and complex using brute-force methods. Ancient Egypt was known as, “The Great Hydraulic Civilization.” My hydraulic elevator theory explains every major mysterious and inexplicable feature of Khufu's Pyramid (concavity of the pyramid sides, the Grand Gallery, entrance to the King's Chamber, the Subterranean Chamber, etc.) - some of which were mysteries up to that point. I copyrighted my book on it in early 2001. Not a single Archaeologist or Egyptologist has stated that my discovery is wrong - including world-renowned Dr. Zahi Hawass (former head of Egyptian Antiquities), who I submitted my book to, and who has intensely criticized many other people's ideas about the Great Pyramid over the decades.
          (2) After the huge tsunami of Dec. 2004 which killed 300,000+ people, in early 2005, I drew up plans to put in coastal underwater structures that would not only cause tsunami waves to crash offshore, thereby saving many lives, but also generate electricity to impoverished areas of our Planet during normal seas and provide sea life habitat and coastal defenses. As well as plans for simple, inexpensive electronic devices which any ship can carry to detect tsunamis in open ocean and warn endangered coastal areas in time to evacuate early. I provided my invention ideas to our Government (NOAA, USGS) and American universities heavily funded to do tsunami research, and my ideas were all ignored. One university even returned my manuscript with an attached note stating that they were refusing to even read it! The result will be that every time a major tsunami occurs, many more lives will be lost than with my invention idea.
          (3) During the 2010 Gulf Coast British Petroleum oil spill, I came up with a great invention idea on how to plug the leak simply, fast and inexpensively. Instead, BP tried out asinine "solutions" like the "mud shot" and the "junk shot" - both which I had advised against after making my calculations because they would not and could not work - both failed miserably as expected, and the result was that much more oil was dumped into the Gulf. No one tried out my idea, or even seriously considered it!

This booklet is $39 each + S/H; feel free to buy as many as you wish.

Some relevant books I have written: “MITIGATE TSUNAMI DESTRUCTIVE FORCES, PLUS,” “DETECT/MEASURE TSUNAMIS IN THE OPEN OCEAN," "THE WILLIAMS SPECIAL THEORY OF GRAVITY," "THE WILLIAMS’S HYDRAULIC METHOD TO CHEOPS’S PYRAMID, "HOW TO STOP GULF OIL LEAK & OTHER FLUID & GAS LEAKS,” "CREATIVE DREAMING BY A PROVEN CREATIVE GENIUS."

"MITIGATE TSUNAMI DESTRUCTIVE FORCES, PLUS"

1,000s of People Now Dead, $ Billions in Property Damage Losses Due to Huge Tsunamis Caused by 8.9 Earthquake off Japan, 2/10/11

In early 2005, in response to the Dec. 26, 2004 horrific Indonesian Tsunami, John Williams, M.S.E.E., wrote, "Mitigate Tsunami Destructive Forces, Plus," and "Detect & Measure Tsunamis in Open Ocean." Williams distributed free copies to so-called tsunami researchers. One California University which is heavily funded by the U.S. Government to do Tsunami research irresponsibly REFUSED to even read Williams's book - and told him so! The NOAA and USGS irresponsibly refused to even respond! Had Williams's ideas described in his book been implemented, much death and property losses would have been prevented 6+ years later due to this tsunami! While nothing can stop the rise in the sea level due to a tsunami, the force in which tsunami waves crash into coastal areas can be much reduced, giving people more time to flee and evacuate and much less deaths and destructions caused by wave forces. When will lazy and overpaid university professors and Government bureaucrats finally listen!

New, hard copy or eBook. How to mitigate tsunami damage and mitigate storm surge damage with minimum negative effects on tourism and maximum positive effects on the local economy. As was clearly demonstrated on Dec. 26, 2004 at the cost of about 300,000 lives and $ billions in damages from the Indian Ocean tsunami, little efforts have been made to protect coastal areas from tsunami or even storm surge attacks (also demonstrated was how grossly inadequate the Tsunami Warning System is - see our "DETECT & MEASURE TSUNAMIS IN OPEN OCEAN" book desription, our webpages).

Today, in parts of Japan and elsewhere, ocean wave protection systems are apparently largely limited to erecting only partially effective, extremely expensive, environmentally destructive, unsightly and obstructive high sea walls and dikes which disrupt the pristine natural beauty of the beaches, coasts and harbors, and drive away tourists, although they do save lives and property under certain tsunami conditions.

Our book describes, illustrates, explores and proposes relatively simple, inexpensive mechanical / electrical systems that minimize the destructive forces of tsunamis and strong wind waves, while preserving and even augmenting the natural environment, and with other features which boost the industries, tourism, economy and security of the area while maintaining its pristine natural beauty. Our system is designed to mitigate tsunami damages and mitigate storm surge damages (tsunami mitigation, storm surge mitigation).

Author John Williams, M.S.E.E., solved "The Riddle of The Ages" - how the Great Pyramid of Egypt was really built (using a centralized hydraulic elevator - not a ridiculous 481 foot tall ramp 1+ miles long!), which you can verify at consumertronics.net/cheops.html - proof of author's creative, insightful and visionary genius to solve in practical ways what was considered before by some of the most brilliant minds to be virtually without solution.

Illustrated. No intellectual rights of the author, John Williams, M.S.E.E., are included in this sale. Be sure to see our other tsunami book, "DETECT & MEASURE TSUNAMIS IN OPEN OCEAN."

1.5" and 2"-WIDE KEVLAR WEBBING /
KEVLAR STRAPPING / KEVLAR BELTING MATERIAL
Great "Bullet-Proof" Clothes / "Bullet-Proof" Panels Material!

New old stock (NOS) high-quality Dupont Kevlar webbing (Note: 2" Kevlar webbing sold out - we are trying to get more 2" Kevlar webbing; we still have plenty of 1-1/2" Kevlar webbing and 3/4" Kevlar sleeving). The Kevlar webbing is taken from the new roll of 1.5"-wide Kevlar webbing or 2.0" Kevlar webbing in 10' increments (you choose the length, prices below; we also sell.75"-wide Kevlar sleeving, see below). Both widths of Kevlar webbing are 0.081" thick. You can buy as many continuous feet in 10' increments of this heavy duty Kevlar webbing as we have in a new roll, if you buy more than one 10' piece, the Kevlar webbing will be shipped rolled up as one uncut length unless you specify otherwise (e.g. if you buy 30', you will get one uncut 30' piece). Kevlar webbing / Kevlar web material is also referred to as Kevlar strapping / Kevlar strap material, Kevlar belting / Kevlar belt material, and Kevlar tie-down.

OTHER COLORS: The natural color of Kevlar is yellowish. Many have asked us for other colors: Black, red, green, blue, brown most popular. The only color we have is the yellow Kevlar as shown. If you want another color, of course you can spray paint or dye this Kevlar. One of our techzonics.com buyers told us that he "baked" on a color using a dye and heat gun. We have only a limited amount of this Kevlar webbing left to sell. It is one of our most popular Items. We do not expect to obtain more once we run out.

Kevlar is renowned as a "bullet-proof" material - an incredibly strong and tough material! Kevlar is not only famous for its ballistics stopping properties but also as one of the strongest, toughest, most wear-resistant (scuff resistant), and most heat-resistant materials used in various other protection, construction and structural applications as well (not to mention how well Kevlar protects Batman). This super strong, super tough Kevlar fabric is widely used by the police, military, aerospace, marine (e.g. boat building / boat repairing), construction, automotive, sports, and mining industries. All popular Kevlars are rated at about 49,000 psi tensile strength - 5 times stronger than nylon of the same size - 5 times stronger than steel cable of the same weight - this Kevlar web material should be able to hold about 4,600 lbs load for the 1.5" wide Kevlar and about 6,100 lbs load for the 2.0"-wide Kevlar. Kevlar is also fire resistant and flame resistant - resists charring up to about 900 degrees F (nylon melts, burns and loses almost all of its strength and toughness above about 300 degrees F; nylon releases toxic fumes when it burns).

Note that this is heavy-duty Kevlar strap. This is not Kevlar ribbon, which is a thin Kevlar fabric and therefore lacks most of the strength, toughness and resistance to stretching of this thick industrial-grade Kevlar webbing. This is also not Kevlar wick because it has a very tight weave while Kevlar wick weave is intentionally loose to sop-up fuel. Kevlar wick is not built for strength, toughness or resistance to stretch, but only takes advantage of Kevlar's phenomenal resistance to being burned or melted to be reusable lamp wicks.

While this Kevlar strapping is not Kevlar wick, even with its much tighter weave, this Kevlar can be used as a virtually non-consuming lamp wick in a pinch. And it can also be wrapped around the top of a pole and then dipped into a flammable liquid to serve as a practically indestructible and re-usable torch (in fact, we use pieces of our Kevlar webbing to wipe off hot soldering irons). Similarly, this Kevlar webbing can be soaked with a fuel and laid out in lines or squares and set afire for optimum and reusable aerial spotting purposes (e.g. wilderness rescue). Because of its terrific heat resistance / burn resistance along with its legendary strength and toughness, Kevlar finds great uses in many hot applications, ranging from kitchen to welding to model rocketry to ceramics to glassblowing to car racing.

The Batman producers selected for Batman the most effective and advanced high-tech accessories on the planet to carry out his superhero work. One of these high-tech accessories most critical to Batman's survival from all kinds of violent physical assaults is his outfit. The fact that the Batman producers picked Kevlar for Batman's outfit says much about the super-great protective qualities of Kevlar. Just as Kevlar was chosen to protect Batman, choose Kevlar to protect you in the real world.

PROTECTIVE GARMENT / BODY ARMOR USES: We are all living in an increasingly dangerous world. Anything which can provide you (and your loved ones) substantial protection against handguns, shotguns and some rifles, knives, hatchets, axes, claws, teeth/fangs and blunt weapons - not to mention sports hazards, occupational hazards and transportation hazards - can mean the difference in your spouse, parents and kids ever seeing you alive again. Kevlar material is great! Kevlar vests are always made from Kevlar plies or Kevlar overlays - not from a single sheet of Kevlar - because plies add strength and toughness, and distribute impact forces much better. You can cut this Kevlar webbing into lengths, lay them down in plies, and cement or sew the Kevlar plies together to form Kevlar protective vests to much better protect you and your loved ones from many oncoming sharp, pointed, blunt, high-energy and very hot objects from damaging your Kevlar protected body, animals or equipment. While your homemade Kevlar protective vest may not be as elegant or pretty (more on toughness below) as very expensive commercial "bullet-proof" vests, Kevlar protection is far better than leather, denim and canvass. And you can make the vest to form fit you to your size and shape (like Batman) to make it more comfortable to wear and concealable under your clothes. Your Kevlar "bullet-proof" vest should also provide you protection from some industrial accidents, car accidents, sports accidents and even every day accidents. Several years ago, we was struck in the right chest by a fast, heavy rock ejected from a mower - it easily punched through my heavy leather coat - if we had been struck over my heart, head or neck, it likely would have killed me.

Advanced body armor design may employ articulated armor (also called, articulated body armor, flexible armor, flexible body armor and flex armor), and using Kevlar, it is called articulated Kevlar armor (also called, articulated Kevlar body armor, flexible Kevlar armor or flexible Kevlar body armor) - much more flexible than rigid body armor, often more comfortable, and usually more effective at protecting the wearer. This great Kevlar webbing is ideal for all forms of flexible body armor using Kevlar.

You can also use this Kevlar webbing to make head bands, head caps, neck bands, belts, arm wraps, foot wraps, leg wraps, chaps, and shorts/trousersto protect and support those vital body areas as well - especially critical if you are around powerful cutting or puncturing machines (e.g. power nailers, circular saws, chain saws), or animals which tend to bite or claw the head, neck or limbs, or rough sports.

You can also use this Kevlar webbing to make relatively lightweight Kevlar protective panels which you can hide inside or behind your valises, book bags, backpacks, suitcases, books (even schools these days can be dangerous), car doors, car trunks, doors, windows, walls, etc., so if and when that bad situation ever occurs, you can put your valise, backpack, door, etc. between you and the oncoming threat and have a much greater chance of surviving the experience. Years ago, when New York's "Son of Sam" pointed his gun at a young woman walking towards him on a city sidewalk, she held up her book bag to protect herself. The 44 magnum bullet penetrated all of her thick textbooks and killed her anyhow. If in addition, she had a thick Kevlar panel inside her book bag, the bullet may not have penetrated or have deflected away enough from her body and she may have lived. Today's streets are dangerous - especially in some cities - and you just do not know when and where the next terrible threat is going to come from! In disaster situations, you may be suddently faced with total lawlessness, rioters, looters, rapists and robbers. And every time you pick up the paper there is someone going postal at work, or some serial killer or Beltway Shooter type on the loose.

You can also use this Kevlar webbing to help protect buildings, shelters, airports, chemical plants, mines and tunnels from collapsing, caving in or being penetrated by explosive forces, and the resulting falling debris and flying debris. This can be done by sandwiching a crosshatch pattern of this Kevlar webbing with some type of plastic sheeting (flexible or non-flexible), all held together by a strong adhesive. Then reinforce these Kevlar-plastic panels with angle iron or aluminum angle along its edges. Then cementing or screwing in the panels onto the walls and ceilings most vulnerable to penetration. Just what you might need if you live or work in a war zone, high crime area, or an area afflicted by earthquakes, hurricanes or tornadoes, or inside a high-risk structure or mine. Add into this sandwich assembly aluminum or copper foil or galvanized steel sheeting, and you have additional protection from microwave penetrations.

To determine how much Kevlar strapping you need for any application, you might first simulate your design using strips of roll cloth or ribbon of this width, and then perhaps adding another 10% in your order for mistakes or extra things you can use the leftovers for (e.g. protective headbands, neckbands, arm wraps, belts, head caps, panels, etc.). For adults, a protective vest from neck to groin should come to about 15-20 feet of 1.5" Kevlar and about 10-15 feet of 2" Kevlar.

ROPE LADDER USES: Also see our Kevlar sleeving offer herein. Commercially-made rope ladders using nylon rope are very expensive (I know of none that uses Kevlar rope or Kevlar strapping/webbing) - we 've seen them priced at about $50 + S/H for a measely 4 feet long rope ladder made of nylon. Kevlar is used for lifting elevators (sometimes to replace elevator steel cables, which doesn't last nearly as long as Kevlar cabling), so you know that Kevlar will hold one heck of load suspended vertically from it and under adverse conditions (e.g. unbalanced load, shifting load, swinging load, much in-motion contact with hard, rough surfaces, etc.). If you use this Kevlar to make a rope ladder (say you work or live several stories high), and your building is subject to fire, explosion and/or airplane crash, and you are physically fit enough to climb down a rope ladder when your life depends on it, as a last resort to save your life you can descend down your Kevlar rope ladder to ground safety PLUS 20+ other family members, friends, associates, etc. can also all descend down your rope ladder behind you and all be on the Kevlar ladder at the same time and this Kevlar webbing should not break - just as long their total weight does not exceed the Kevlar webbing huge weight limit - even if the room itself or rooms below it are burning. Even if you are on the 100th floor, you may be able to safely and quickly descend down enough floors to be able to land on a balcony, roof top or kick through the window of another room below the danger you have escaped to save your life. You can even use this Kevlar webbing to make a simplified version of a rope ladder by simply tieing knots in a single piece of the webbing every 2-4 feet along its total length and then buying a good pair of leather work gloves and a strong harness (which you can also make from Kevlar webbing) with a large strong buckles or clevises on it to secure you to the Kevlar strapping to safely descend. Consider that if you work or live in a multi-story building, what would you do right now to save yourself and others from a fire, explosion or plane crash in a floor below yours? Experts say that fleeing to the roof and being saved by a helicopter seldom happens in real life. That's because access to the roof without keys, the availability of a rescue helicopter in time, and the ability of the rescue helicopter to get close enough to rescue you are rare. Elevators often don't work and trap victims inside, and in panics, stairways clog up quickly with slow people. Other victims with no hope of being rescued and with no rope or ladder, dove out of windows of the Twin Towers on 9/11 to their certain violent deaths. Your only reasonable path to rescue is out the window!

KEVLAR'S MANY OTHER USES: Kevlar webbing and Kevlar sleeving have many other uses - practically unlimited - and many related to safety and security, requiring minimal weight and bulk compared to similar performances from ropes, webbing, cables and chains made from nylon, steel and other high-strength materials. Some of them: Rescue equipment, tow straps, lifting straps, elevator cables, hoists, safety harnesses, horse / carriage harnesses, military and other helmets, core material for conveyor belts / pully belts (can be made into a makeshift pully belt), climbing ropes / rapelling ropes (e.g. rock climbing, spelunking), hang gliding / parachute straps, swing attachments, vehicle barriers, composite bow cores, ground up as tire / clutch / brake pad filler material (replaces asbestos), to make boats and aircraft bodies, cable / pipe / tube protection (Kevlar is also both thermal insulator and great electrical insulator), protective clothing and accessories used in rough sports (e.g. contact sports, paint ball) / industrial / outdoor activities, strapping to secure and lift heavy equipment, crates and bundles of pipes, lumber, other materials, to securely tie down heavy vehicle loads, to protectively wrap or encase fossil bones, delicate parts and equipment subjected to being battered around. Kevlar can also be used to make shoe soles (which should last virtually forever) and shoe and boot linings to protect the feet from nails, glass, animal bites and claws, etc. And Kevlar webbing can also be used to secure vehicles and other Items from theft in some situations because it is very difficult to cut with bolt cutters and unlikely for the criminal to show up with a blade sharp and hard enough to get through Kevlar (so tough that knives and saw blades tend to get snagged in it - see how to properly cut Kevlar below). Kevlar is an ideal material to have around for various construction projects because you can use it to reinforce force-bearing wood, plastic, sheet metal and composite materials you use for much greater strength and toughness (for example, by sandwiching it between two boards or posts used to span a large opening and securely cementing the assembly together). And if you have an especially heavy job, for example, trying to pull out a tree stump or car out of a ditch or raise a car engine, you will really appreciate the great advantages of Kevlar. This Kevlar webbing should be able to replace whatever other lesser webbing material you now have in your winch or hoist of the same or bigger size.

Kevlar can be combined with other materials to further increase its strength and toughness. For example, you can mix up certain fibers of the right size and aspect ratio with your cement used to secure the plies. You can also use Kevlar in conjunction with ballistic ceramics, carbon cloth and other protective materials. The important thing to remember is that for a garment designed to protect the torso, you want maximum toughness. Toughness is the ability to resist breaking when under violent force. Toughness is somewhat directly proportional to tensile strength - which is extremely high in all known Kevlar materials - and somewhat inversely proportional to stiffness. On one hand, you do not want your protective Kevlar vest to be rock stiff, and on the other hand, you do not want it to tear or even deform more than about 2" under the most brutal force it is designed to protect you against. Consider that the kinetic energy (KE) on object impact equals one-half the object's mass times its velocity squared, and the resulting impact force is equal to the KE divided by the stopping distance. For example, the impact force to stop a projectile in 1" is only 1% of the impact force to stop the same projectile in 1/100". Greater stiffness means greater impact force which means more likely material shattering, penetration and being knocked down. You want the body armor to react to violent force more like taffy and less like concrete. On the other hand, more than 2" of deformation under force usually means more than 2" of deformation of your body from the hit, resulting in likely fatal or near fatal injury from blunt force trauma to your organs, and not just painful but survivable bruising that may not even be severe enough to land you in one of today's super expensive hospitals. The reason why Kevlar plies are used is that you want the force to spread out from the point of impact in a conical fashion to the area of the fabric in contact with your body so that the per-square inch (psi) of the force that reaches your body is orders of magnitude less than the impact point psi. Its not the impact force that kills you, its penetration or psi that kills you! When the plied Kevlar is hit, it deforms into the body, and as it deforms, much of the impact force radiates nearly horizontally in it, resulting in the spread out or radiation of the force in a conical pattern. The black center stripe down this Kevlar strapping is there to help you more perfectly align your ply strips as you sew or cement them together so that there are no borders between the plies. For added protection, consider placing a couple of extra plies over the heart area.

Untreated Kevlar webbing also has low coefficient of friction - as low as about 0.15 - about the same as nylon webbing but with much better strength, toughness, wear resistance and thermal properties than nylon webbing. Kevlar webbing is great for Kevlar skids and Kevlar sled guides. For example, use Kevlar webbing to make Kevlar skids for your truck, van or SUV bed to make it much easier for you to place, position and remove heavy loads, and also protects the bottom and sides of your vehicle's bed from much wear and dings. Use Kevlar webbing to make Kevlar sled guides - Kevlar is so great that polar exploration teams will measure ice thickness every foot for 1,250 miles near the North Pole at temperatures as low as -58 °F using sleds outfitted with Kevlar sled guides ("Popular Science," Feb. 2009, p.29).

Kevlar does have a few disadvantages, all of which can be fairly easily overcome. Kevlar will deteriorate faster than nylon when exposed to water or UV radiation, so in these long term environments Kevlar materials should always be covered by a sealed, snug-fitting, opaque plastic material or coated with a marine resin (water-protected Kevlar webbing and Kevlar sheets are commonly used in boat construction and boat repairs). And because Kevlar is so extremely strong and tough, it is difficult to cut, and cutting it with even the sharpest scissors or knife often results in fraying or splaying of Kevlar fibers at the cut point. However, if you lay down a line of cement (e.g. plastic model airplane glue) along the desired cut line (both sides), once cured, We have found it much easier to cut Kevlar materials using a sharp Fiskars scissors (We have also heard that tough scissors made by Belmont, Kretzer-Finny, Gingher and Wiss scissors also work good to cut Kevlar cordage and webbing, but have not tried them myself). Much better is a Dremel tool with industrial diamond cutting disk/wheel - cuts clean, neat, fast and straight, never needs sharpening, safer than sharp tools, doesn't require pre-cementing the cut line, and doesn't leave frayed ends (and it also works great on plexiglas, plastics, metals, hardwoods). Dremel tools are about the size/shape of baby bottle, and some use rechargeable batteries. This means that you don't need big, powerful, costly tools or a shop to process Kevlar webbing, but you can work Kevlar even in relatively small spaces and outdoors (used Dremel tools and diamond cutting wheels are usually inexpensive; note that no tools, parts, accessories, cements or other materials are included with this Item). Also, Kevlar's cut fibers should not be breathed in or dispersed; do all of your Kevlar cutting, drilling, etc. outside or in another safe well-ventilated area where you can vacuum them all up and safely dispose of them. And with all tool work, always use safety goggles, dust mask and safety gloves, keep kids, pets, foods and liquids away, and work in a safe and careful manner. We have handled, cut and drilled a lot Kevlar for years and have not suffered any known harmful effects from Kevlar.

Commonly available and relatively inexpensive cements and additives can be used to secure the Kevlar plies in place while enhancing Kevlar's already great toughness. Much of this Kevlar information is on the Internet; however, if you buy 30+' of this Kevlar from us at the same time, and you ask for it, we will send you the information we have on what cements we find works great on Kevlar and what additives you can add to the cement which further increases Kevlar toughness.

FLEXIBLE 3/4"-WIDE KEVLAR SLEEVING /
KEVLAR WEBBING SLEEVING MATERIALS
KEVLAR TUBING / KEVLAR TUBE MATERIALS
Super-Strong/Flexible Kevlar Rope Ladders, Kevlar Harnesses...

New old stock (NOS) high-quality Super-Strong and Flexible Dupont Kevlar sleeving. The Kevlar sleeving is taken from the new roll of 0.75"-wide Kevlar sleeving in 10' increments (you choose the length, prices below; we also sell 1.5"-wide and 2.0" wide Kevlar webbing (not Kevlar sleeving), see above). This Kevlar sleeving is about 1/16" thick. You can buy as many continuous feet in 10' increments of this Kevlar sleeving as we have in a new roll, if you buy more than one 10' piece, the Kevlar sleeving will be shipped rolled up as one uncut length unless you specify otherwise (e.g. if you buy 30', you will get one uncut 30' piece). Kevlar sleeving / Kevlar sleeve material is also referred to as Kevlar tubing / Kevlar tube material, Kevlar wrapping / Kevlar wrap material, and as Kevlar sock material.

Kevlar is not only famous for its ballistics stopping properties but also as one of the strongest, toughest, most wear-resistant (scuff-resistant), and most heat-resistant materials used in various other protection, construction and structural applications as well (not to mention how well Kevlar protects Batman). This super strong, super tough Kevlar fabric is widely used by the police, military, aerospace, marine (e.g. boat building / boat repairing), construction, automotive, and sports industries. All popular Kevlars are rated at about 49,000 psi tensile strength - 5 times stronger than nylon of the same size - 5 times stronger than steel cable of the same weight - this Kevlar sleeve material should be able to hold about 1,500 lbs load. Kevlar is also fire resistant and flame resistant - resists charring up to about 900 degrees F (nylon melts, burns and loses almost all of its strength and toughness above about 300 degrees F; nylon releases toxic fumes when it burns).

Note that this is Kevlar sleeving. This is not Kevlar ribbon, which is a thin non-sleeving (single-layer) Kevlar fabric, which lacks much of the strength, toughness and resistance to length-wise stretching as this Kevlar sleeving. This is also not Kevlar wick. Kevlar wick is a loose Kevlar weave - not built for strength, toughness or resistance to stretch - which takes advantage of Kevlar's phenomenal resistance to being burned, and which is used as a re-usable lamp wick. However, this Kevlar sleeving, even with its much tighter weave, can be used as a lamp wick in a pinch, and it can also be wrapped around the top of a pole and then dipped into a flammable liquid to serve as a practically indestructible and re-usable torch. Similarly, this Kevlar webbing can be soaked with a fuel and laid out in lines or squares and set afire for optimum aerial spotting purposes (e.g. wilderness rescue).

The big advantage of Kevlar sleeving, as opposed to webbing, is that you can pull it over cables, wire bundles, chains, ropes, rods, pipes, tubes, cylinders and parts it will fit over upto about 1" cross section, including items with odd-shaped cross-sections, as well as round and square, to add strength and to protect them from abrasions, cuts and fire. This Kevlar sleeving fits nicely over the fingers and toes, and can be used as finger protectors / toe protectors where they are exposed to abrasions, cuts, punctures or fire dangers, or even make glove parts and sock parts from this Kevlar sleeve material. This Kevlar sleeving also fits nicely over tool handles for better grip and improved insulation. The inside diameter of the Kevlar sleeving is 3/4" but it expands along its width to about 1" diameter, and lays flat on a spool or reel. While being very strong, tough and fire-resistant, this Kevlar sleeving is pliable and supple - easy to knot and un-knot, to fold, and to roll into a rope and strung through tarp eyelets, making it very versatile for countless uses. It is also compact and lightweight - 100 feet can be easily rolled into a small enough roll to fit inside a pocket, valise, tool box, backpack or concealed in a desk (in case you need to escape through a window to save your life).

ROPE LADDER USES: Also see our 1-1/2" and 2"-wide Kevlar webbing offers herein. If you use this Kevlar to make a rope ladder (say you work or live many stories high), and your building is subject to fire, explosion and/or aircraft crash, and you are physically fit enough to climb down a rope ladder when your life depends on it, as a last resort to save your life you can descend down your Kevlar rope ladder to ground safety PLUS 4+ other family members, friends, associates, etc. can also all descend down your rope ladder behind you and all be on the Kevlar ladder at the same time and this Kevlar sleeving should not break - just as long their total weight does not exceed the Kevlar sleeving great weight limit - even if the room itself or rooms below it are burning. Once some reach the bottom, others can get on at the top. Even if you are on the 100th floor, you may be able to safely and quickly descend down enough floors to be able to land on a balcony, roof top of a nearby building or kick through the window of another room below the danger you have escaped to save your life.
To make the simplest Kevlar rope ladder possible, you simply tie knots in a single piece of the Kevlar sleeve of the length you need every 2-4 feet along its total length and then buy a good pair of leather work gloves and a strong harness (which you can also make from Kevlar sleeving) with a large strong buckles or clevises on it to secure you to the Kevlar sleeving to safely descend. A safer Kevlar rope ladder with two sides and Kevlar "rungs" is almost as simple to make - just requires about 3.5 times the Kevlar sleeving as a knotted single.
Consider that if you work or live in a multi-story building, what would you do right now to save yourself and others from a fire, explosion or plane crash in a floor below yours? Experts say that fleeing to the roof and being saved by a helicopter seldom happens in real life. For example, those who fled to the roof tops of the Twin Towers on 9/11 all died - zero were rescued by helicopter. That's because access to the roof without keys and a guide, the availability of a rescue helicopter in time, and the ability of the rescue helicopter to get close and fast enough to rescue you all rarely occur. Elevators often don't work and trap victims inside, and in panics, stairways clog up quickly with slow people. Other victims with no hope of being rescued and with no rope or ladder, dove out of windows of the Twin Towers on 9/11 to their certain violent deaths. In virtually all cases, to save yourself, you MUST go through the window to be rescued, and you MUST have a very strong rope or ladder to safely descend from the danger area to safety!

PROTECTIVE GARMENT USES: You can also use this Kevlar webbing to make head bands, head caps, neck bands, belts, arm wraps, foot wraps, leg wraps, chaps, and shorts/trousersto protect and support those vital body areas as well - especially critical if you are around powerful cutting or puncturing machines (e.g. power nailers, circular saws, chain saws), or animals which tend to bite or claw the head, neck or limbs, or rough sports. And as tie-down straps for garments and panels usually made from heavier Kevlars, such as the Kevlar webbing we also sell (see herein). And as very strong and durable carrying and pulling handles. And as protective trim for clothes, luggage, equipment, furniture, etc. to protect surfaces and contact points which may tend to receive more frictional wear-and-tear than other parts. Kevlar sleeving is commonly slipped over cable, wire bundles, pipe, hose and tubing to provide them much greater friction protection, and for fire protection whether the fire is external or due to an electrical short or bursting situation inside the Kevlar sleeving, and in addition (if the fitting is snug), helps protect pipe, hose and tubing from bursting due to high pressures or defects in pipe/hose/tube wall. As well as providing electrical and thermal insulation for the jacketed item. And Kevlar sleeving is used as a protective wrap for larger diameter items.

GREAT PURSE, WALLET, BAG & BACKPACK PROTECTION: In many urban areas and foreign countries today, thieves will rush by you with a sharp knife, razor or cutters and cut the strap of your purse, bag or backpack - rip it right off your body, and flee with it in just seconds. While our Kevlar sleeving is not totally indestructible, it is much, much stronger and tougher than are cloth, leather, plastic and nylon straps. To cut Kevlar sleeving here, we use a power cutter with a diamond disk. You can use this Kevlar sleeving to either replace or reinforce your normal straps. Since it is sleeving, many types of straps can be fed through it. Or you can use tape or plastic ties (not included) to secure the Kevlar parallel to your straps. For wallets, you can punch a hole into the fold, and run the Kevlar sleeving through it, tying one end to your wallet and the other end to your belt so no one can grab and run with your wallet when you take it out to pay for things - sure beats tying a chain to your wallet.

KEVLAR'S MANY OTHER USES: Kevlar sleeving and Kevlar webbing have many other uses - practically unlimited - and many related to safety and security, requiring minimal weight and bulk compared to similar performances from ropes, webbing, cables and chains made from nylon, steel and other high-strength materials. Kevlar can also be used to make shoe soles (which should last virtually forever) and shoe and boot linings to protect the feet from nails, glass, etc.

On the other hand, more than 2" of deformation under force usually means more than 2" of deformation of your body from the hit, resulting in likely fatal or near fatal injury from blunt trauma to your organs, and not just painful but survivable bruising that may not even be severe enough to land you in one of today's super expensive hospitals.

Kevlar does have a few disadvantages, all of which can be fairly easily overcome. It will deteriorate faster than nylon when exposed to water or UV radiation, so long term in these environments Kevlar materials should always be covered by a sealed, snug-fitting, opaque plastic material or coated with a marine resin (so-protected, Kevlar is commonly used in boat construction and boat repairs). And because Kevlar is so extremely strong and tough, it is difficult to cut, and cutting it with even the sharpest scissors or knife often results in fraying or splaying of fibers at the cut point. However, if you lay down a line of cement (e.g. plastic model airplane glue) along the desired cut line (both sides), and allow it to cure, we have found it much easier to cut Kevlar materials using a sharp Fiskars scissors (we have also heard that tough scissors made by Belmont, Kretzer-Finny, Gingher and Wiss scissors also work good to cut Kevlar cordage and webbing, but have not tried them myself). However, what works best for us is a Dremel tool with industrial diamond cutting disk/wheel - cuts clean, neat and straight, never needs sharpening, safer than sharp tools, doesn't require pre-cementing the cut line, and usually doesn't leave frayed ends (and it also works great on plexiglas, plastics, metals, woods, ceramic, glass). Dremel tools are about the size/shape of baby bottle, and some use rechargeable batteries. This means that you don't need big, powerful, costly tools or a shop to process Kevlar webbing, but you can work Kevlar even in relatively small spaces and outdoors (I buy Dremel tools at the flea market for about $10 each, and diamond wheels for about $1 each; note that no tools, parts, accessories, cements or other materials are included with this Item). Also, Kevlar's cut fibers should not be breathed in or dispersed; if possible, do all of your Kevlar cutting, drilling, etc. outside or in a limited well-ventilated area where you can vacuum them all up and safely dispose of them. And with all tool work, always use safety goggles, dust mask and safety gloves, keep kids and pets away, and work in a safe and careful manner. We have handled, cut and drilled a lot Kevlar and have not suffered any known harmful effects from Kevlar.

Commonly available and relatively inexpensive cements and additives can be used to secure the Kevlar plies in place while enhancing Kevlar's already great toughness. Much of this Kevlar information is on the Internet; however, if you buy 3 or more lots of this Kevlar from us at the same time, and you ask for it, we will send you the information we have on what cements we believe works best on Kevlar and what additives you can add to the cement which further increases Kevlar toughness.

PAIR OF GORILLA LADDER HINGES / HOOKS IN CASE

New old stock (NOS). Pair of Gorilla Ladder Hooks / Hinges, in plastic case. These Gorilla hooks are extremely strong, and are used to support and suspend a strong window ladder by hooking onto window sills, window ledges and window thresholds, or around a bar or other structure it can securely hold onto. The user can then use the ladder to safely descend to the ground to flee a burning or exploding building or dangerous intruder, which often can mean the difference between life and death. Can also be used to climb onto ships and boats, for going over walls and fences, to lift, suspend, tow or drag heavy objects, and to secure scaffolding and safety harnesses. We bought these Gorilla hooks shortly after 9/11 for a relative who then both worked and lived in multi-story buildings. We don't know how strong these Gorilla hooks are, our estimate is about 1,000 lbs per hook, which probably exceeds most window sills and window ledges, but should be able to support several people using the ladder at the same time. Each hook consists of 3 sandwiched metal plates securely riveted together (5 thick rivets), each metal plateabout 3/16" thick, with a 3-3/4" gap from the bottoms of both sides. This gap permits the secure insertion of a chain, Kevlar webbing or nylon webbing between outer plates, which can then be bolted on through the holes, to make a very secure assembly (does not include chain or Kevlar or nylon webbing; we sell Kevlar webbing separately). 9-1/2" wide x 7-3/4" long. Bottom gap is 5-1/4". Holes are 7/8" diameter. Metal legs are 2-1/4" wide.

RARE, VINTAGE BRASS
PEEK-O DOOR VIEWER PEEP HOLE
REVOLVING-LENS DOOR PEEPHOLE
MUCH PREVENTS HOME INVASIONS!

(Sorry, we recently are sold out of this Peek-O Door Peephole set; we are trying to get more.) New in box (NIB). Rare, vintage Peek-O Door Viewer / Revolving-Lens Door Peephole (Peek-O Door Peep Hole). Large, fine crystal glass lens. Viewer lens rotates 40 degrees in all directions to very much reduce the blind spots common to typical modern peepholes, and with much bigger viewed image and less fish-eye distortion. It is very difficult for an assailant to lie flat next to or below this peephole and not be spotted. Ideal for your home security and personal security. Your safety and that of your loved ones are absolutely critical. You must do all that you can to protect your family. Minimize the risks of home invasions. Also invaluable for spotting packages, animals and small children at your door or to the side of your door.
Note that this rare Peek-O Door Viewer is gold-looking machine-brushed BRASS (also making this Peek-O Door Peephole a great collectible!) - not the lesser steel used on almost all other Peek-O door viewers of similar design. This can be critical because the brass is non-magnetic and steel is magnetic, which means with the steel version a small listening device, camera or other device with a magnetic base can be attached to a steel viewer to eavesdrop outside and inside conversations, and to surveil your comings, goings and deliveries and those of your family and visitors.
Note that the inside stem of the Peek-O Peephole viewer can be used to place a viewing tube over it (not provided) to allow you to safely stand away from the viewer and door while viewing through it. One problem with all other types of door peepholes is that when an assailant detects you viewing through the peephole, he/she knows exactly where you are standing behind the door and can then shoot you through the door or viewer. However, with a tube extension, one can still view through the Peek-O door viewer while standing safely to the side of the door.
The Peek-O Peephole viewer can also be used for security rooms and animal cages, for example, to view parts of a room or cage not normally viewable or is in a blind spot.
For doors 1" - 2" thick (door does not have to be a revolving door - works with any wood door, metal door or plastic door; use shim for door under 1" thick). Door viewer comes with its inside wrapper which has the layover pattern for accurately modifying your door for the Peek-O Door Viewer. Peek-O Door Viewer requires a 2-1/4" diameter hole in the door, easily done using a hole saw (hole saw not provided).

SCABBARD MATERIALS: KNIFE SCABBARDS,
SWORD SCABBARDS, CHISEL SCABBARDS

These scabbard materials are new materials for making scabbards of many different kinds and types. Now, you can make your own scabbards for your edged devices, including for knives, swords, daggers, bayonets, sabers, samurais, machetes, other cutlery, and other tools, such as saw blades, files, picks, etc. Each set of these materials consists of one piece of hard plastic core scabbard material that is 21" long and will hold blades up to 1-1/4" wide and 1/8" thick, plus one 24" long piece of 1" diameter (1-5/8" flat width) soft plastic heatshrink tubing which you can cover the hard platic core material with if you wish (you can of course use the heat shrink for anything else you want to). The images show these scabbard materials with both a sword and a knife inserted for demonstration purposes to show you how these materials work. You can use these materials to make one or more scabbards by cutting them to your needed lengths. The heatshrink tubing is provided longer than the hard plastic so that by cutting it a little longer than your scabbard, it will conform to the top and/or bottom of the scabbard so there is no exposed scabbard top and/or bottom edge. The heatshrink tubing is shrunk using a heat gun, and it shrinks up to 1/2 its cross sectional size to conform to shapes, which in this case, to the hard plastic core material. The heat shrink tubing reduces only in cross sectional size - not in length. This sale is for one 21" piece of hard plastic core material plus one piece of 24" soft plastic heatshrink material (sword and knife not included).

These scabbard materials are durable materials that should last a very long time. They are very resistant to moisture, oils, salt spray and a wide variation of temperatures and humidity. Water, oils and dirt can only enter the scabbard through its top or bottom (if bottom is left open) - never soaking through either scabbard material itself. And both materials are very easily cleaned. The hard plastic is smooth to permit quick removal of the knife or sword from the scabbard, and for insertion back into it (if the blade does not fit too tightly). The blade can also be lubricated for even faster scabbard action. The hard plastic core material has less stiction to it than any other material We have ever seen used as a scabbard core material. Whether or not you survive a situation in which a knife or sword is required (e.g. being attacked by a feral animal) often depends upon how quickly you remove the knife or sword from its scabbard!

There are numerous scabbard, holder and other related uses of these materials. The most common use is as an inner scabbard form in which a crafts person then embellishes it with a leather, cloth or decorative outer finish. For example, a piece of leather with belt slots and a tie-down loop can be cemented to the back of the hard plastic core length you cut for your scabbard, after curing of cement, the heatshrink is slipped over the hard plastic core and leather, and then heat-shrunk to hold the leather even more securely, and then the outer layer of the heatshrink is covered with more leather, plastic or cloth.

These scabbard materials can also produce working scabbard that one can use to hold and position edged devices while doing additional shop work on them, for example, while adding a hilt or handle or painting, decorating, repairing or restoring the blade's hilt or handle. The hard plastic core material can also be used as a travel and field scabbard for your blades so that your blades are well-protected in your tool box, enroute and in the field (e.g. hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, climbing, spelunking, construction sites, etc.), while at the same time, you can separately store or pack the corresponding decorative scabbard that you use only for your display, sale, storage and other minimal handling situations in safe, clean and controlled environments. A knife or sword always displays and sells better if its original scabbard is in pristine condition. The scabbard you make can also be integrated with a gun holster, saddle, tool belt, boot, etc. You can also make scabbards for your tools, such as chisels and small bits, to keep them clean, dry and safe between jobs. And you can easily make scabbards for your kitchen knives as well, which will not only make them safer to handle but will also protect them from dust and germs floating around in the air eager to land on exposed surfaces, such a knife blades.

These materials make great temporary scabbards you can use to protect knife, sword and tool blades you find at gun shows, flea markets, garage sales and antique stores being sold without their original scabbards (and likely at bargain prices because they lack their scabbards). It sure beats walking around with an exposed blade or sharpened point, or putting it in your carry bag where it can cut or poke through. And if you sell knives, swords and tools with sharp edges or pointed tips, you no doubt have some that don't have scabbards, and even a temporary scabbard is much better than no scabbard at all. Like everything else, scabbards get lost, damaged and worn out, and leather (used to make most scabbards) rots away over the years and decades (especially when used in a rugged or outdoor environment), so many knives, swords and tools still in great shape (especially antiques) no longer have their scabbards, and without scabbards, they have lost much of their utility and value.

Working on these materials is pretty easy. The scabbard material should be slowly cut on a sturdy surface using a fine saw blade generally used for hard steels. The bottom end of the hard plastic core can be "V"-cut to make it conform more to the point end shapes of most knives and swords. You can close the tip of the pointed end with cement (some plastic cements work good with it), or close the pointed or flat end with a screw(s) or rivet(s) so loose tool blades don't fall through. We generally leave the bottom open to permit ventilation so that when outdoors in a humid environment, a little ventilation much reduces any condensation that might otherwise build up inside the scabbard due to high humidity conditions. The heatshrink tubing is shrunk to fit using a heat gun. Most hair dryers don't get hot enough. The heatshrink can also be shrunk using an open flame, radiated stove or oven heat or a large soldering iron. The important thing to remember when shrinking heatshrink tubing is to keep the item rotating and moving in the heat environment so that the heat is evenly distributed and uniformly shrinks the heatshrink as hot spots can cause warped shrinking and even melt the hard plastic core underneath. And then heat the heatshrink tubing just to the point that it shrinks to fit the form - once it has shrunk, remove the heat source.

Scabbards are not only very important in protecting the blade from being exposed to moisture, salts, oils, solvents, dirt, mechanical damage such as edge dulling/chipping and point breaking/blunting, etc., but also to protect those who can come in contact with the blade (especially children and animals), on purpose or accidentally, from getting cut or injured by the blade. Even if you are currently fully outfitted with scabbards for all of your blades, if you unexpectedly lose or damage a scabbard, you could be left with a dangerous exposed blade - it is a very good idea to have spare scabbard material readily available so that you can make yourself at least a temporary replacement scabbard in such situations.

These scabbard materials are antistatic and excellent thermal insulators and electrical insulators. And both scabbard materials are lightweight and durable. The hard plastic core material is transparent (while most are untinted, some come in tints like yellow, amber, blue - we can only send what we have available), so that you can handle and view the blade through the core material (as shown) while it is being protected by the hard plastic core from skin contact. Note that the hard plastic core material is rigid; therefore, if your knife, sword or bladed tool is curved beyond the 1-1/4" overall scabbard width, this scabbard material will not work with it. Also note that the standard size we usually get this material in is 21" long; however, we don't manufacture this material or cut it from longer stock but just get it as shown, so length may vary from about 20.5" to close to 24", and each each stick of the hard plastic core material has one or two small holes punched in the ends, which can be adapted for tie-down or other purpose. Note that this hard plastic core material was NOT manufactured originally for scabbard use but to store highly specialized steel and plastic industrial parts for periods of years to decades; however, it just so happens to also be an excellent scabbard core material which this additional application for it we invented (to the best of my knowledge and belief), and this is why we both use and sell it as scabbard material.

O. M. FRANKLIN IDENTITY MARKING TOOL /
RARE, VINTAGE IDENTITY STAMPING TOOL

Used and works great. O. M. Franklin Identity Marking Tool. This rare and possibly unique stamping tool was originally made for stamping livestock in the mouth as a form of branding them. However, it has many other practical uses where one needs to uniquely identify something in a way that is both permanent (cannot be erased or covered up and won't wear out) and very difficult to counterfeit. You dial in the 4-digit serial number by rotating the wheels at the top of the tool head. Each digit consists of a number of 1/4"-long pointed steel spikes arrayed in the form of a digit (0 - 9) which penetrates or at least indents the material being marked. See upper right of image to see what the stamping looks like. Works especially well with soft-to-medium materials such as leather, plastic, some metals and wood, and flesh between 1/32" to 1/4" thick. Also makes a great collectible. Has some surface discoloration and rust.

TRI-STATE SECURITY SEALS / SAFETY SEALS
UNIQUELY NUMBERED TAMPER-PROOF SEALS
ANTI-THEFT SEALS / ANTI-PILFERAGE SEALS
CHEMICAL SAFETY SEALS / ANTI-CONTAMINATION SEALS
MEDICAL SAFETY SEALS / FOOD SAFETY SEALS
DWELLING SECURITY SEALS / VEHICLE SECURITY SEALS
PERSONAL PROPERTY SECURITY SEALS
TOOL SECURITY SEALS / EQUIPMENT SECURITY SEALS
KELLER TRUCK SEALS / TOOL BOX SEALS
CABINET SECURITY SEALS / LOCKER SECURITY SEALS
GUN SECURITY SEALS / COMPUTER SECURITY SEALS
LAPTOP SECURITY SEALS / DRIVE SECURITY SEALS
ELECTRONICS SECURITY SEALS / CLOTHES SECURITY SEALS

Finally, Peace of Mind!!

New, industrial-grade tamperproof security seals / safety seals. These very high quality, useful and versatile tamperproof numbered seals are bright red, tough, durable plastic (you can easily spot and identify your protected item as well as any tampering of it far enough away to not be in danger), 7" long and 3/8" wide and flat, and 7-digit uniquely numbered seals.

Once sealed, the seal locking mechanism is not accessible and cannot be tampered with. These durable seals cannot be picked open, pried open, sprung open or bypassed without cutting or burning, melting, pulling or twisting the seals apart - all easily visually obvious. To break these strong, yet flexible, seals by manually pulling or twisting on them requires great physical strength - minimizing snatch and grab risks (I was unable to manually break one from its locking mechanism even using a Stryker orthopedic cast splitter!). These seals very reliably detect, alert and prevent otherwise hidden and secret threats, intrusions, invasions, surveillance, tampering, contamination, pilferage, sabotage, and other rip-offs, security violations and safety violations criminal acts and terrorist acts to your person, property, home, business and work site.

Security seals / safety seals are not usually used to replace locks, but are often used in conjunction with locks to verify that the locks have not been picked (lockpicking tools / lockpicking kits are cheap and widely available Online, flea markets, elsewhere), or bypassed using an authorized or unauthorized duplicate key (e.g. lost key, stolen key, master key), and in cases where the lock keys/combinations must go with the person who the item is temporarily entrusted to (e.g. movers, drivers of trucks and trailers, airline baggage handlers, storage facilities, cargo handlers, emergency personnel), resulting in locks alone not providing any protection. In these cases, if the lock is opened AND the seal is broken, then the entrusted person should have a very good reason, but without the seal, you may either not know or cannot prove that the lock was ever opened (as President Ronald Reagan used to say, "Trust but verify"). And one does not even need to steal a key or have access to a locksmith or key machine to make key duplicates - all one has to do is to make a key impression on a small piece of clay or bubble gum and then hand-file a blank key to match - any crook with access to your keys for even seconds can produce duplicate keys! And there are lists of combination lock combinations based on lock makes, models and serial numbers so even the most rugged combination lock may not be trustworthy!

And some valuable items which you need to add seals to protect come with locks so flimsy and easy to pick or bypass that these locks result in virtually zero security and safety (e.g. suitcases, brief cases, valises, purses, jewelry boxes, cash boxes, etc.). Because all locks can be opened with a duplicate key / combination and most can be picked open by someone with rudimentary locksmith skills and locksmith tools, in reality, locks offer very little real protection from persons making secret entries into "protected" areas or items. Locks in these situations provide only a costly false sense of security. The fact is NO MATTER HOW EXPENSIVE AND HIGH-QUALITY A LOCK IS, YOU CAN NEVER BE CERTAIN THAT THE LOCK WAS NOT COMPROMISED - UNLESS YOU USE IT WITH A SECURITY SEAL like these safety/security seals! Even if the criminal must cut or break the lock or jimmy the lock (e.g. most padlocks) to gain entry, the lock serves then only as a very expensive seal.

The truth is that those with criminal minds who operate or have regular access to storage sheds, storage lockers / storage cabinets, moving containers / moving services, shipping containers / shipping services, motels / hotels / lodges, bed-and-breakfasts, gyms, schools, golf courses, country clubs, sports centers, stock rooms / stock shelves, record areas, secure areas, airlines, etc. routinely obtain master keys, lock combinations lists, lock picking tools and cutting tools to enrich themselves by stealing from all of the fools who think their locks actually secure their valuable items - laughing all the way to their drug dealers at your expense!

In many jurisdictions, the unauthorized breaking of a security seal or safety seal is both a criminal offense and a tort, thereby giving you extra layers of legal protection than just locks by themselves (we are not an attorney so check for yourself for your jurisdiction). If the lock is picked or opened with a key/combination, it is much more difficult to prove that you have been pilfered from, contaminated or compromised (e.g. identity theft, stolen cash, stolen untraceable valuables). However, a broken seal or missing seal is very strong evidence of illegal entry - often a very good sign for you to call the police without endangering yourself and loved ones or contaminating evidence.

One prudent security and safety practice is to use locks with/without seals on outer containers (e.g. truck, trailer, airline, cargo container) and then seals on one or more of the inner containers (e.g. you are moving, or you have a variety of cargo or baggage some of which is valuable), such as jewelry boxes, important papers boxes, tool boxes, collectible boxes.

The replacement cost for each seal is about as much as a tie-wrap of about the same dimensions - so inexpensive that cutting the seal to get to your protected item is a tiny cost compared to the peace of mind the seal gives you. (NOTE: Tie wraps (zip ties) are not a substitute for these seals because tie-wraps (and cheap locks) can be easily picked open using an Xacto knife, paper clip or small screwdriver and then re-applied without a noticeable difference, tie-wraps are not uniquely numbered and therefore cannot be tracked, documented or likely used as evidence in a claim, and cut tie-wraps can be easily replaced by commonly-available look-alikes).

Many of the valuable item types listed below which seals protect don't usually come with locks but all still need to be protected (e.g. individual jewelry items, antiques, rare collectibles, equipment, expensive tools, expensive electronics, computers, cameras, clothes items and clothes accessories, etc.).

These anti-theft seals are ideal for protecting and sealing countless items: Trailers, cargo, trucks and canopies, cars, motorcycles, bikes, other vehicles, aircraft, boats, RVs / mobile homes, tools / tool boxes, machines / equipment, rental items, furniture, storage lockers / storage cabinets / storage bins / storage sheds, refrigerators / freezers, drug cabinets / medical cabinets, chemical / biological / radiation containers, waste / trash / salvage containers, emergency supplies / food items that cannot be contaminated / unaccounted for, guns / ammunition / weapons of all types, jewelry / jewels / gems / precious metals, valuable antiques / collectibles / collections / display cabinets, toys / games / sports items, store inventory / sale items / demo items / display items, gifts / surprises, shoes / clothes items / clothes accessories, money boxes / money machines, dispensing machines, hand bags, shopping bags, file cabinets, records drawers, luggages / briefcases / valises / portfolios / satchels / dossiers / purses / other leather goods, duffle bags, fuel pumps / dispensers / storages, valves / other control devices / control mechanisms, vending machines / use meters / other usage registration devices, computers / computer peripherals, hard drives / other memory storage devices, consumer electronics, cameras / camcorders, and of course a huge variety of doors, windows, gates, portholes, access points, etc.

These seals are also excellent for sealing your home, job and/or business when you are away from them to make sure some rapist, home invader or stalker is not waiting inside for your return (or your children's return), some pervert is not inside your home fantasizing about your children or your undies when you are out, some thief or burglar is not stealing your stuff and/or your identity (burglaries are a major source of identity theft), or some spy, snoop or goon is not invading your privacy by doing a black bag job on you.

Today, when you are away from your home, job or business, virtually anything is possible! Have you ever gone on a vacation or travel, and when you got back to your home, job, business or school, you found tools and other valuable items mysteriously missing/damaged/dirty from your "locked" office, containers, drawers, lockers and cabinets? Or it looks like someone has rummaged through your stuff? Yet, you have no way of being able to prove anything. Or while you were on vacation or travel, stuff mysteriously disappearing out of your suitcases and bags while you are out for breakfast or at theme park or conference - stolen by motel/hotel/lodge employees with sticky fingers? Does your valuable stuff disappear from one of those "locked" lockers at your school, gym, golf course, sports facility or country club? With the economy bad, thefts are way up, so you must protect yourself more.

These seals are also excellent as cargo seals to make sure that the items that arrive at the destination are the exact same items you shipped and have not been pilfered, switched or otherwise tampered with (you usually have to give the keys to the driver or cargo handler for emergency purposes, e.g. home moves, business moves and freight sales). If you are moving goods and you've hired movers who have the opportunity to steal items or rummage through your drawers, cabinets and plastic bins to steal items or your identity, seals should stop most of them. Because these seals are uniquely numbered, you can keep a detailed record of each item by its seal number as it is being loaded onto the truck or trailer or into storage, and then check them off at the other end or when you later return, so items cannot be tampered with or stolen from you and go unnoticed because you got busy or tired during your move. Using numbered seals to secretly record container contents is always much better than marking the contents of containers with what is inside them, because you don't want the shippers and others to know which of your containers have valuable items. And you can more easily document exactly what items are missing or tampered with for claims purposes. And by relying on seal number ranges to manage where your containers go, you can easily and quickly populate rooms and storage areas at your destination with the appropriate containers without having to open any, and saves you much work in moving containers from wrong rooms to right rooms. Again, these industrial-grade seals are inexpensive - less than 10% of the cost of buying even a modest easily bypassed padlock for each of the items and containers you want to protect during your move, storage or shipping.

These inexpensive security seals are great for seal-protecting clothes and clothes accessories, including expensive suits, dresses, coats, jackets, pants, shoes, belts, purses, leather goods, furs, customized clothes, and designer clothes. The seals are easily threaded through most clothes button holes, belt loops, straps, labels - ideal for someone in the clothes or accessories business - greatly helps you keep track of your inventory and work site tools and equipment, and much reduce your theft losses.

These seals are similarly very effective security and inventory tools if you do business with firearms, computers and computer peripherals, expensive phones, expensive electronics, expensive cameras / video tape recorders, expensive equipment / tools, expensive furniture, medical devices / supplies / medicines, athletic equipment, etc. And to tie down and keep track of your items in your retail stores, and especially in open markets like flea markets and hamfests, and your estate sales, garage sales and yard sales.

To survive these days, you practically have to be paranoid - far too many bizarre, dangerous, violent and illegal activities are going on all the time! Home invasions and theft crimes - especially pilferage crimes - are increasing and becoming more brazen. If you want to protect your own safety and your children's safety, and keep what is yours paid for with your hard-earned dollars, you MUST increase your personal safety and your security. These industrial safety seals / security seals not only greatly help prevent thefts and privacy invasions but also violent acts perpetrated by violent rapists, burglars, stalkers, terrorists and goons all of the time secretly accessing homes, businesses, vehicles, storage areas. And to prevent industrial espionage, sabotage, vandalism, contamination and identity theft. And to prevent surveillance snoops from secretly planting listening devices and miniature cameras, recorders and transmitters (surveillance countermeasures) in rooms and vehicles you use.

When you use seals to seal your home or business, every door, window and other possible entry point should be secured with a seal (photograph or keep record of seal numbers with you because even if the crook or stalker uses a similar replacement seal (these particular seals are not known to be commonly available), his seal will have a different number). And when you must leave your valuable items in the hands of someone else or unattended - even for a few minutes - you should use seals to make sure that when you get the items back they have not been rummaged through or, in cases of briefcases, file boxes, computers, internal/external memory storage units, etc., critical data has not been stolen or compromised.

As an Online Seller, we also use these invaluable seals to verify that items we ship, if later returned to us, are the actual items we had shipped - especially for items that don't come with their own serial numbers. Some crooked Online buyers buy new or much better condition replacements of junk items they own so that they can then "return" their junk items for refunds, stealing your better items - a common practice is to buy a broken item at a garage sale, then a new one of the same make and model Online, then send the junked item to the Online seller. We attach the seal to the body of our Item or wrap the flexible seal a couple of times around the power cord or other cable (so seal cannot be slipped off of the cord without cutting off the connector). Even if a customer is dishonest enough to plan this, once he/she sees the seal, they keep the item. Furthermore, these seals often stop unauthorized access to the insides of machines, tools, and electronic devices to prevent parts cannibalism, sabotage, vandalism, reverse engineering, and exposure of the end user to possible electrical shock injuries.

For expensive machines, furniture and proprietary design items (e.g. inventions), these seals not only stop crooks from stealing the entire item but also stop them from internally accessing, disassembling or reverse-engineering the proprietary device to protect trade secrets and proprietary designs. For example, in one of our businesses where we do a lot of relatively expensive high-tech customized designs (Lone Star Consulting, Inc., www.lonestarconsultinginc.com - renowned for its mind control, electronic attack and radionics research), most of which we do not want our client to enter because of high-voltage or sharp objects dangers, security or proprietary reasons, we use these protective seals to give notice to our clients that they are not allowed inside the equipment, and if they do go inside, it is at their own risks and they void their warrantee.

More than one seal can be joined together end-to-end to make a larger diameter seal loop if that is needed, for example, to encircle even larger equipment. Also, you can loop seals together to form a seal chain consisting of several interlocked seal loops (i.e. seal daisy chain) so that the seals will secure the protected item to a more distant tie-down point, to connect up two or more protected items, or to seal large girth items where the needed seal length exceeds the length of one seal. You can also use the seals as sort of a "keychain" type device for keeping together and keeping track of like items strung onto the seal. And of course the seals can also be used for many of the general uses that plastic tie-wraps are now used for (e.g. they are just the right size for bundling power cords and computer cords).

These seals have practically unlimited other uses, not all security or safety related. Some examples:

(1) To identify and keep track of the location of things for inhouse uses, such as company tools, equipment, materials and supplies distributed to employees and contractors or out on site, and to quickly identify and keep track of your items in situations, for example, where there are multiple employees or contractors on one site using similar tools and equipment.

(2) To group and identify individual, bundles or groups of wires, cables, electrical leads, ropes, ribbons, chains, rods, tubes, pipes, long metal/wood/plastic shop stock, etc.: Huge variety of uses of these seals as wire markers, cable markers, electrical lead markers, rope markers, ribbon markers, chain markers, rod markers, tube markers, pipe markers, shop stock markers. As described above, if the girth of the item or bundle is small, the seal can encircle it more than once, and if the girth is big, two or more seals can be daisy-chained together to encompass the item. With the unique seal numbers, you can then clearly document which item goes with which equipment, system or routing it must go with, so costly confusions, mix-ups, stress and anger are minimized, and unauthorized substitutions can be detected.

(3) In accident, natural disaster, criminal, terrorism, medical emergency and field triage situations, these seals can be used in life-saving capacities similar to hospital bracelets to uniquely identify victims or patients on the spot where mistaken identity can result in medical delays and mistakes and cost lives, and to accurately identify and secure people, evidence and property in crime scenes, accident scenes, natural disaster situations, and terrorist situations.

(4) These seals are ideal in situations where for privacy or secrecy reasons you want to conceal the names of persons or items and yet still be able to uniquely identify them and keep track of them without using names or SSNs, for examples, for medical examination / medical testing, investigative, etc. reasons.

(5) If you have very similar or identical items or containers (e.g. inventory, tools, equipment, supplies, etc.) which you acquired or made, or need to use, repair, modify, install, store, remove from storage, fill orders, ship, cycle or recycle in a certain critical order, these uniquely and sequentially numbered seals are an ideal method to maintain and keep track of them and exactly where items are and who they belong to at all times.

(6) These uniquely numbered seals are also a great means of conducting votes, contests, lotteries, door prizes and as use as uniquely numbered tickets to events and activities.

(7) One person bought some seals from us because they make, "cool bracelets" or anklets and that he would like to make them, "the rage of his school."

(8) These seals can also be used for many and varied arts, crafts and game purposes as they are bright colored, attractive and unique in appearance. One person uses them in a horseshoe-like game as tossing hoops to go around pegs labeled with various values. Another uses a few each year as Christmas tree ornaments.

(9) In training and assembly-line situations where tools and parts must be used in certain orders, you simply use these uniquely numbered seals to arrange the Items so that the seal numbers are numerically in order with the order of required use.

These seals are so versatile and useful that you almost cannot keep enough of them on hand, so buy them in larger quantity. We find it a good practice just to keep about a dozen seals with us in my home, offices, workshops, laboratories, cars and tool boxes at all times as we often need them. Furthermore, since they are so versatile and perform so many important functions, your loved ones will also need a good supply of these seals, so ordering in quantity to distribute or gift some to family members, friends and associates is a very good idea because almost everyone - young, old, male, female, of all walks of life - find them very useful and protective. Safety seals / security seals are great peace of mind enablers.

NOTE: Later availability not guaranteed in quantities above 20,000 Keller Seals.

Finally, Peace of Mind!!

New, industrial-grade tamperproof security seals / safety seals. These very high quality, useful and versatile tamperproof numbered seals are bright blue tough, durable plastic (you can easily spot and identify your protected item as well as any tampering of it far enough away to not be in danger), foot long and 1/4" wide and flat, and 7-digit uniquely numbered seals. Unlike the typical 6"-7" seals, these foot-long shields can be used on much larger valuable possessions, such as handbags, jewelry boxes, cash boxes, power tools, guns, etc.

LIMITED QUANTITY. We have only a few of these left to sell.

Finally, Peace of Mind!!

New, industrial-grade Avery Secur-A-Tach Fasteners, #18800, Avery 5" Self-Fastening Security Ties, tamperproof security seals / safety seals. These very high quality, useful and versatile Avery tamperproof seals are white, tough, durable plastic (you can easily spot and identify your protected item as well as any tampering of it far enough away to not be in danger), 5" long and 1/10" wide, and fit through the smallest holes. For indoor and outdoor uses, like fishing monofilament line, these Avery seals lasts for months - even years under right conditions. If 5" is too short, these seals can be daisy-chained to much longer lengths (i.e. connected end-to-end).

While these Avery safety seals / security seals are most commonly found on clothes, accessories and price tags because they are inexpensive, thin and about ideal length for these common types of jobs, they have practically endless other protective uses. What makes them uniquely ideal for protecting major items is the fact that because they are so thin, they can slip into most lock hasps while the lock is in it: Basically, the lock provides the mechanical security strength resistant to being cut or sawed off while the plastic security seal is there to prove that the lock was not picked or jimmied or opened using a key by an unauthorized person, the secured items accessed and then the lock re-locked to make it look like no penetration happened.

Because these Avery security seals / safety seals are thin, white, translucent monofilament, they are difficult to see, especially in dim light or under a liquid, so a perp may not spot the seal or even realize that he/she broke the seal. So these Avery seals give you a secret stealthy way of discovering penetrations without the perp even realizing that you know he/she was there messing with your stuff. And because these Avery seals are difficult to see, they do not draw undue attention to the items you wish to protect with them.

Once sealed, the seal locking mechanism is not accessible and cannot be tampered with. These durable seals cannot be picked open, pried open, sprung open or bypassed without cutting or burning, melting, pulling or twisting the seals apart - all easily visually obvious. These seals very reliably detect, alert and prevent otherwise hidden and secret threats, intrusions, invasions, surveillance, tampering, contamination, pilferage, sabotage, and other rip-offs, security violations and safety violations criminal acts and terrorist acts. Note that common tie wraps / zip ties (and cheap locks) can be easily picked open using a small knife blade, screwdriver, paper clip or pin, and then re-installed to hide penetration - these Avery seals cannot be picked open - once closed, you can only remove them by cutting them.

As opposed to other security seals / safety seals we sell, these Avery seals are not numbered, so out of the package, they don't appear to be unique. However, by using a permanent marking pen(s) (unusual color like purple is best to foil duplication), you can mark them in such a way to make each look unique. We prefer to mark them using a digital code, for example: "l l 0 0 l" = 25 ("1" is a stripe, "0" is a blank space), a stripe code to uniquely and numerically account for them. You can also mark them using two or more color pens for unique color-coding identification.

Security seals / safety seals are not usually used to replace locks, but are often used in conjunction with locks to verify that the locks have not been picked (lockpicking tools / lockpicking kits are cheap and widely available Online, flea markets, elsewhere) or bypassed using an authorized or unauthorized duplicate key (e.g. stolen key, master key), and in cases where the lock keys/combinations must go with the person who the item is temporarily entrusted to (e.g. movers, drivers of trucks and trailers, airline baggage handlers, storage facilities, cargo handlers, emergency personnel), of whom locks alone offer no protection whatsoever. In these cases, if the lock is opened AND the seal is broken, then the entrusted person should have a very good reason, but without the seal, you may either not know or cannot prove that the lock was ever opened, so if anything comes up missing or contaminated, its your word against the entrusted person. As President Ronald Reagan used to say, "Trust but verify". And one does not even need to steal a key or have access to a locksmith or key machine to make key duplicates - all one has to do is to make a key impression on a small piece of clay or bubble gum and then hand-file a blank key to match - any crook with access to your keys for even seconds can produce duplicate keys! And there are lists of combination lock combinations based on lock makes, models and serial numbers so even the most rugged combination lock is also not 100% trustworthy.

And some items which seals should protect come with locks so flimsy and easy to pick or bypass that these locks result in virtually zero security and safety (e.g. suitcases, brief cases, valises, purses, jewelry boxes, cash boxes, etc.). Because all locks can be opened with a duplicate key / combination and most can be picked open by even someone with rudimentary locksmith skills and locksmith tools, in reality, locks offer little real protection from experienced criminals making secret entries into "protected" areas or items. Locks in these situations provide only a costly false sense of security. The fact is NO MATTER HOW EXPENSIVE AND HIGH-QUALITY A LOCK IS, YOU CAN NEVER BE CERTAIN THAT THE LOCK WAS NOT COMPROMISED - UNLESS YOU USE IT WITH A SECURITY SEAL like these Avery Seals! Even if the criminal must cut, break or jimmy the lock (e.g. most padlocks) to gain entry, the lock serves then only as a very expensive seal.

If the lock is picked or opened with a key/combination, it is much more difficult to prove that you have been pilfered from, contaminated or compromised. However, a broken seal or missing seal is very strong evidence of illegal entry - often a very good sign for you to call the police without endangering yourself or contaminating evidence.

One prudent security and safety practice is to use locks with/without seals on outer containers (e.g. truck, trailer, airline, cargo container) and then seals on one or more of the inner containers (e.g. you are moving, or you have a variety of cargo or baggage some of which is valuable). That way there, if the entrusted person must enter the outer container, your invaluable jewelry boxes, important papers boxes, tool boxes and collections boxes are still protected with seals.

The replacement cost for each seal is pennies - so inexpensive that cutting seals to access your own protected items is a tiny cost compared to the peace of mind the seals give you in protecting yourself, your property, your home, your business and your work site.

Many of the valuable item types listed below which seals protect don't usually come with locks but all still need to be protected (e.g. individual jewelry items, antiques, rare collectibles, equipment, expensive tools, expensive electronics, computers, cameras, clothes items and clothes accessories, etc.).

These anti-theft seals are ideal for protecting and sealing countless items: Trailers, cargo, trucks and canopies, cars, motorcycles, bikes, other vehicles, aircraft, boats, RVs / mobile homes, tools / tool boxes, machines / equipment, rental items, furniture, storage lockers / storage cabinets / storage bins / storage sheds, refrigerators / freezers, drug cabinets / medical cabinets, chemical / biological / radiation containers, waste / trash / salvage containers, emergency supplies / food items that cannot be contaminated / unaccounted for, guns / ammunition / weapons of all types, jewelry / jewels / gems / precious metals, valuable antiques / collectibles / collections / display cabinets, toys / games / sports items, store inventory / sale items / demo items / display items, gifts / surprises, shoes / clothes items / clothes accessories, money boxes / money machines, dispensing machines, hand bags, shopping bags, file cabinets, records drawers, luggages / briefcases / valises / portfolios / satchels / dossiers / purses / other leather goods, duffle bags, fuel pumps / dispensers / storages, valves / other control devices / control mechanisms, vending machines / use meters / other usage registration devices, computers / computer peripherals, hard drives / other memory storage devices, consumer electronics, cameras / camcorders, and of course a huge variety of doors, windows, gates, portholes, access points, etc.

These seals are also excellent for sealing your home, job and/or business when you are away from them to make sure some rapist, home invader or stalker is not waiting inside for your return (or your children's return), some pervert is not inside your home fantasizing about your undies when you are out, some thief or burglar is not stealing your stuff and/or your identity (burglaries are a major source of identity theft), or some spy, snoop or goon is not invading your privacy by doing a black bag job on you.

Does your valuable stuff mysteriously vanish from those "locked" lockers at your school, gym, golf course, sports facility or country club?

These Avery seals are also excellent as cargo seals to make sure that the items that arrive at the destination are the exact same items you shipped and have not been pilfered, switched or otherwise tampered with (you usually have to give the keys to the driver or cargo handler for emergency purposes, e.g. home moves, business moves and freight sales). If you are moving goods and you've hired movers who have the opportunity to steal items or rummage through your drawers, cabinets and plastic bins to steal items or your identity, seals should stop most of them. Items cannot be tampered with or stolen from you and go unnoticed because you got busy or tired during your move! And you can easily document exactly what items are missing or tampered with for claims purposes. Again, these Avery seals are very inexpensive - only a few pennies each - much, much less than the containers and areas you are protecting.

These inexpensive security seals are great for seal-protecting clothes and clothes accessories, including expensive suits, dresses, coats, jackets, pants, shoes, belts, purses, leather goods, furs, customized clothes, and designer clothes. The seals are easily threaded through most clothes button holes, belt loops, straps, labels - ideal for someone in the clothes or accessories business - greatly helps you keep track of your inventory and their price labels, and much reduce your theft losses.

These seals are similarly very effective security and inventory tools if you do business with firearms, computers and computer peripherals, expensive electronics, expensive cameras / video tape recorders, expensive equipment / tools, expensive furniture, medical devices / supplies / medicines, athletic equipment, etc.

If you want to protect your own safety and your children's safety, and keep what is yours, you MUST increase your personal safety and your security. These industrial safety seals / security seals not only greatly help prevent thefts and privacy invasions but also violent acts perpetrated by rapists, burglars, home invaders, goons and terrorists secretly accessing homes, businesses, vehicles, storage areas. And to prevent industrial espionage, sabotage, vandalism, contamination and identity theft. And to prevent surveillance snoops from secretly planting listening devices and miniature cameras, recorders and transmitters (surveillance countermeasures) in rooms and vehicles you use.

When you use seals to seal your home or business, every door, window and other possible entry point should be secured with a seal (these particular seals are not known to be commonly available in stores). By uniquely marking or color-coding the seals, you can secretly keep track of container contents without obviously marking the containers themselves.

As an Online Seller, we also use these invaluable seals to verify that items we ship, if later returned to us, are the very same items we shipped - especially for items that don't come with serial numbers (some crooked Online buyers buy new or much better condition replacements of junk items they own so that they can then "return" their junk items for refunds). We attach the seal to the body of the Item or wrap the flexible seal a couple of times around the power cord or other cable (so seal cannot be slipped off of the cord without cutting off the connector). Furthermore, these seals often stop unauthorized access to the insides of machines and electronic devices to prevent parts cannibalism, sabotage, vandalism and exposure of the end user to possible injuries.

For expensive machines, furniture and proprietary design items (e.g. inventions), these seals not only stop crooks from stealing the entire item but also stop them from internally accessing, disassembling or reverse-engineering the proprietary device to protect trade secrets and proprietary designs. For example, in one of my businesses where we do a lot of relatively expensive high-tech customized designs (Lone Star Consulting, Inc., www.lonestarconsultinginc.com - renowned for its mind control, electronic attack and radionics research), most of which we do not want the customer to get inside of because of high-voltage and sharp objects dangers, security or proprietary reasons, we use these protective seals to give notice to customers that they are not allowed inside the equipment, and that going inside the equipment voids their warrantee.

Again, more than one seal can be joined together end-to-end (daisy chain) to make a larger diameter seal loop if that is needed, for example, to encircle larger girth items. You can also daisy chain seal loops, for example, to connect up two or more sealed items, or a sealed item to an anchor or tie-down point. You can also use the seals as sort of a "keychain" type device for keeping together and keeping together like items. Because these seals are thin, they can be literally used as key chains. And of course these Avery seals can also be used for many of the general uses that plastic tie-wraps are now used for.

These seals have practically unlimited other uses, not all security or safety related, most of these uses are enhanced if you uniquely stripe or color-code the seals. Some examples:

(1) To tag or otherwise identify and keep track of the location of things for inhouse uses, such as company tools, equipment, materials and supplies distributed to employees and contractors or out on site, and to quickly identify and keep track of your items in situations, for example, where there are multiple employees or contractors on one site.

With unique striping or color-coding, you can then clearly document which item goes with which equipment, system or routing it must go with, so costly confusions and mix-ups are minimized and unauthorized substitutions can be detected.

(3) In accident, natural disaster, criminal, terrorism, medical emergency and field triage situations, these seals can be used in life-saving capacities similar to hospital bracelets to tag or otherwise identify victims or patients on the spot where mistaken identity can result in medical delays and mistakes and cost lives, and to tag or otherwise identify and secure evidence and property.

(4) These seals are ideal in situations where for privacy or secrecy reasons you want to conceal the names of persons or items and yet still be able to uniquely identify them and keep track of them, for examples, for medical examination / medical testing, investigative, etc. reasons.

(5) If you have very similar or identical items or containers (e.g. inventory, tools, equipment, supplies, etc.) which you acquired or made, or need to use, repair, modify, install, store, remove from storage, fill orders, ship, cycle or recycle in a certain critical order, these seals are an ideal method to maintain and keep track of them and exactly where items are at all times.

(6) These seals are also a great means of conducting votes, contests, lotteries and door prizes.

(7) These Avery seals can make, "cool bracelets" and anklets.

(8) These seals can also be used for many and varied arts, crafts and game purposes. They can be used in horseshoe-like games as tossing hoops to go around pegs labeled with various values. Also great every year to hang Christmas ornaments, and holiday and party decorations.

These seals are so versatile and useful that you almost cannot keep enough of them on hand, so buy them in larger quantity. We find it a good practice just to keep about a dozen seals with us in my home, offices, workshops, laboratories, cars and tool boxes at all times as we often need them. Furthermore, since they are so versatile and perform so many important functions, your loved ones will also need a good supply of these seals, so buying the 500 quantity to distribute or gift some to family members, friends and associates is a very good idea because almost everyone - young, old, male, female, of all walks of life - find them very useful and protective.

NOTE: Later availability not guaranteed in quantities above 10,000 Avery Seals.

SAFETY SEALS / ANTI-PILFERAGE SEALS
SECURITY SEALS / NUMBERED TAMPERPROOF SEALS

EQUIPMENT SECURITY SEALS /
TOOL SECURITY SEALS / CABINET SECURITY SEALS

MEDICAL SAFETY SEALS, FOOD SAFETY SEALS /
CHEMICAL SAFETY SEALS /
UNIQUELY NUMBERED ANTI-PILFERAGE SEALS /
ANTI-CONTAMINATION SEALS, SECURITY SEAL

COMPUTER SECURITY SEALS /
LAPTOP SECURITY SEALS, DRIVE SECURITY SEALS

TRUCK SECURITY SEALS / TRAILER SECURITY SEALS /
CABINET SECURITY SEALS /
CLOTHES SECURITY SEALS /
ACCESSORY SECURITY SEALS

Finally, Peace of Mind!!

New, industrial-grade tamperproof security seals / safety seals. These safety/security seals are very similar to the Keller Seals described herein with all of the Keller Seals advantages, plus these additional functional advantages: (1) These safety/security seals can be tightened down like a tiewrap - important should you need a tiewrap function along with a seal function. (2) These safety/security seals are thinner so they can fit through smaller holes and all holes more easily.

These very high quality, useful and versatile tamperproof numbered seals are bright orange, tough, durable plastic (you can easily spot and identify your protected item as well as any tampering of it far enough away to not be in danger), 7-1/2" long and 1/8" wide, and uniquely numbered with a 7-digit number.

Once sealed, the seal locking mechanism is not accessible and cannot be tampered with. These durable seals cannot be picked open, pried open, sprung open or bypassed without cutting or burning, melting, pulling or twisting the seals apart - all easily visually obvious. To break these strong, yet flexible, seals by manually pulling or twisting on them requires great physical strength - minimizing snatch and grab risks (I was unable to manually break one even using a Stryker orthopedic cast splitter!). These seals very reliably detect, alert and prevent otherwise hidden and secret threats, intrusions, invasions, surveillance, tampering, contamination, pilferage, sabotage, and other rip-offs, security violations and safety violations criminal acts and terrorist acts.

Security seals / safety seals are not usually used to replace locks, but are often used in conjunction with locks to verify that the locks have not been picked (lockpicking tools / lockpicking kits are cheap and widely available Online, elsewhere) or bypassed using an authorized or unauthorized duplicate key (e.g. stolen key, master key), and in cases where the lock keys/combinations must go with the person who the item is temporarily entrusted to (e.g. movers, drivers of trucks and trailers, airline baggage handlers, storage facilities, cargo handlers, emergency personnel), of whom locks alone offer no protection whatsoever.

And some items which seals should protect come with locks so flimsy and easy to pick or bypass that these locks result in virtually zero security and safety (e.g. suitcases, brief cases, valises, purses, jewelry boxes, cash boxes, etc.). The fact is NO MATTER HOW EXPENSIVE AND HIGH-QUALITY A LOCK IS, YOU CAN NEVER BE CERTAIN THAT THE LOCK WAS NOT COMPROMISED - UNLESS YOU USE IT WITH A SECURITY SEAL like these security/safety seals! Even if the criminal must cut the lock or jimmy the lock (e.g. most padlocks) to gain entry, the lock serves then only as a very expensive seal.

If the lock is picked or opened with a key/combination, it is much more difficult to prove that you have been pilfered from, contaminated or compromised (e.g. identity theft, stolen money, stolen other unidentifiable valuables).

The replacement cost for each seal is about as much as a tie-wrap of about the same dimensions - so inexpensive that cutting the seal to get to your protected item is a tiny cost compared to the peace of mind the seal gives you. (NOTE: Tie wraps are not a substitute for these seals because tie-wraps (and cheap locks) can be easily picked open using an Xacto knife, paper clip or small screwdriver and then re-applied without a noticeable difference, tie-wraps are not uniquely numbered and therefore cannot be tracked, documented or likely used as evidence in a claim, and cut tie-wraps can be easily replaced by a look-alike).

These seals are also excellent as cargo seals to make sure that the items that arrive at the destination are the exact same items you shipped and have not been pilfered, switched or otherwise tampered with (you usually have to give the keys to the driver or cargo handler for emergency purposes, e.g. home moves, business moves and freight sales). If you are moving goods and you've hired movers who have the opportunity to steal items or rummage through your drawers, cabinets and plastic bins to steal items or your identity, seals should stop most of them. Because these seals are uniquely numbered, you can keep a detailed record of each item by its seal number as it is being loaded onto the truck or trailer or into storage, and then check them off at the other end or when you later return, so items cannot be tampered with or stolen from you and go unnoticed because you got busy or tired during your move! And you can easily document exactly what items are missing or tampered with for claims purposes. And by relying on seal number ranges to manage where your containers go, you can easily and quickly populate rooms and storage areas at your destination with the appropriate containers without having to open any.

The seals are easily threaded through most clothes button holes, belt loops, straps, labels - ideal for someone in the clothes or accessories business - greatly helps you keep track of your inventory and much reduce your theft losses.

These seals are similarly very effective security and inventory tools if you do business with firearms, computers and computer peripherals, expensive electronics, expensive cameras / video tape recorders, expensive equipment / tools, expensive furniture, medical devices / supplies / medicines, athletic equipment, etc.

If you want to protect your own safety and your children's safety, and keep what is yours, you MUST increase your personal safety and your security. These industrial safety seals / security seals not only greatly help prevent thefts and privacy invasions but also violent acts perpetrated by violent criminals and terrorists secretly accessing homes, businesses, vehicles, storage areas. And to prevent industrial espionage, sabotage, vandalism, contamination and identity theft. And to prevent surveillance snoops from secretly planting listening devices and miniature cameras, recorders and transmitters (surveillance countermeasures) in rooms and vehicles you use.

When you use seals to seal your home or business, every door, window and other possible entry point should be secured with a seal (keep record of seal numbers with you because even if the crook or stalker uses a similar replacement seal (these particular seals are not known to be commonly available in stores), his seal will have a different number).

As an Online Seller, we also use these invaluable seals to verify that items we ship, if later returned to us, are the very same items - especially for items that don't come with their serial numbers (some crooked Online buyers buy new or much better condition replacements of junk items they own so that they can then "return" their junk items for refunds).

For example, in one of my businesses where we do a lot of relatively expensive high-tech customized designs (Lone Star Consulting, Inc., lonestarconsultinginc.com), most of which we do not want the customer to get inside of because of high-voltage and sharp objects dangers, security or proprietary reasons, we use these protective seals to give notice to customers that they are not allowed inside the equipment.

More than one seal can be joined together end-to-end to make a larger diameter seal loop if that is needed, for example, to encircle equipment. Also, you can loop seals together to form a seal chain (i.e. seal daisy chain) so that the seals will secure the protected item to a more distant tie-down point, to connect up two or more protected items, or to seal large girth items where the needed seal length exceeds the length of one seal. You can also use the seals as sort of a "keychain" type device for keeping together and keeping track of like items. And of course the seals can also be used for many of the general uses that plastic tie-wraps are now used for (e.g. they are just the right size for bundling power cords and computer cords).

These seals have practically unlimited other uses, not all security or safety related. Some examples:

To identify and keep track of the location of things for inhouse uses, such as company tools, equipment, materials and supplies distributed to employees and contractors or out on site, and to quickly identify and keep track of your items in situations, for example, where there are multiple employees or contractors on one site.

With the unique seal numbers, you can then clearly document which item goes with which equipment, system or routing it must go with, so costly confusions and mix-ups are minimized and unauthorized substitutions can be detected.

(3) In accident, natural disaster, criminal, terrorism, medical emergency and field triage situations, these seals can be used in life-saving capacities similar to hospital bracelets to uniquely identify victims or patients on the spot where mistaken identity can result in medical delays and mistakes and cost lives, and to identify and secure evidence and property.

(4) These seals are ideal in situations where for privacy or secrecy reasons you want to conceal the names of persons or items and yet still be able to uniquely identify them and keep track of them, for examples, for medical examination / medical testing, investigative, etc. reasons.

(5) If you have very similar or identical items or containers (e.g. inventory, tools, equipment, supplies, etc.) which you acquired or made, or need to use, repair, modify, install, store, remove from storage, fill orders, ship, cycle or recycle in a certain critical order, these uniquely and sequentially numbered seals are an ideal method to maintain and keep track of them and exactly where items are at all times.

(6) These uniquely numbered seals are also a great means of conducting votes, contests, lotteries, door prizes and as use as uniquely numbered tickets to events and activities.

(7) One person bought some from us because they make, "cool bracelets," and that he would like to make them, "the rage of his school."

(8) These seals can also be used for many and varied arts, crafts and game purposes as they are bright red, attractive and unique in appearance. One person uses them in a horseshoe-like game as tossing hoops to go around pegs labeled with various values. Another uses a few each year as Christmas tree ornaments.

Left image part shows a bundle of 20 of these seals. In my various sales, We are selling these seals in lots of 20 (1 bundle), 40 (2), 60 (3), 80 (4), 100 (5), 500 (25), 1,000 (50) and perhaps other quantities. The number of bundles you receive is in parenthesis next to the size of the lot you buy. For the other lot sizes, please go to my webpages and buy the lot size you need. Of course, with larger quantities, you pay less price per seal and much less S/H cost per seal no matter where you live.

These seals are so versatile and useful that you almost cannot keep enough of them on hand, so buy them in larger quantity. We find it a good practice just to keep about a dozen seals with us in my home, offices, workshops, laboratories, cars and tool boxes at all times as we often need them. Furthermore, since they are so versatile and perform so many important functions, your loved ones will also need some, so ordering in quantity to distribute or gift some to family members, friends and associates is a very good idea because almost everyone - young, old, male, female, of all walks of life - find them very useful.

HEAVY-DUTY STEEL BOAT MOORING / BOATING MOOR
RETRACTABLE TIE-DOWN JIG / FIXTURE
PUSH-ON/PUSH-OFF DEADBOLT LOCK, CLAMP/HOLDER/PRESS

Used and in very good condition. Heavy-Duty Steel Boat Mooring / Tie-Down Fixture / Jig, chrome-plated, likely for boat dockings and boat anchorings. While two mooring jigs are in the images to show the jigs views and settings, this sale is for one boat moor / tie-down device jig. The front extension part is spring-loaded and retractable, and is locked IN or OUT by a push-in action. Our best guess is that this is a boat tie-down or mooring fixture, but we are not certain. While it is likely used as a boat moor for docking boats or anchoring boats, it has many other possible uses as well, for example, this Device makes a very strong Push-On / Push-Off Deadbolt Lock for doors, gates, windows, etc. Just add a bracket to receive and hold the bolt, or chisel out a receiving space. And it can be used as a spring-loaded clamp, holder or press.

We don't know the original purpose for the dual-position feature, other than perhaps to apply or relieve tightness of the tied rope, cable or chain. If you know what this device is really used for, please freely let us know. While heavy-duty, chrome plated and very good quality, it has no make or model markings on it.

Boat mooring jig is 5-3/4" long when compressed, 6-1/2" when expanded. Height is 2-3/4". Width of main body is 1-11/16". Width of front extension (T-handle) is 3-1/8", 3/4" high, 1/4" thick. Width at feet is 3-1/2". Side-to-side spacing width of 1/4" feet holes is 2-1/2", and hole spacing front-to-back is 3-1/4" (both center-to-center hole distances). Front pair of feet are 3/8" higher than back pair, which if you need to can compensate for with nuts or washers. Center hole in back is 7/16" dia. Weight is about 1-3/4 lbs.

LIMITED QUANTITY. We have only a few of these left to sell.

THE SURVIVOR AND HIS ENVIRONMENT

The survivor's mission is to return to friendly control without giving aid or comfort to the enemy; to return early and in good physical and mental condition. The continuing, successful adaptation to a constantly changing environment leads to a completed mission—survival.

In a sense, the seven factors (figure 1-1) which affect an individual in a survival situation are, at the outset, neutral. The situation and the man's abilities, needs, and attitudes make the factors friendly or inimical. As an example, extreme cold, one of the climatic elements, is usually thought of as being a serious danger to a man in an emergency situation on the ground. An individual finding himself in enemy territory would find the cold (if he knew how to take care of himself) a friend because it would tend to keep enemy personnel indoors close to their hearth-fires thus giving him a better opportunity to evade. Adequate preparation for anticipated survival experiences and good survival training will provide knowledge, skills, and attitudes which enable individuals or groups to interact with the factors in such a way that they are, indeed, able to return to friendly control without having given aid or comfort to the enemy—when a human enemy is a part of the survival environment. Thus, one must ask, "Is residual radiation present or not? Is a human enemy present, i.e., a factor in the episode? What are the factors of or within the survivor himself—Does he have an adequate will to survive? Is he able to cope with the various psychological aspects inherent in survival episodes? Is he free of injury? Can he prevent sickness and injuries?

Climatic elements and terrain are always present in one way or another. Thirst can very quickly become a serious factor. Hunger most certainly will become a factor in extended survival episodes, and distance is always a factor in even the simplest of emergency situations. Knowledges, skills, and attitudes are tools for interacting with the survival factors. When residual radiation is present, for example, men must modify their total behavior. They must locate and construct for themselves special shelters which protect them from the radioactivity and modify all behavior to some degree.

One tool for dealing with a human enemy, if he is a part of the survival environment, is the overall modification of behavior which we call evasion. If a survivor is captured, he must have other tools: the knowledge, the ability, and theattitudes which enable him to successfuully resist the enemy's attempt to make use of him....

While survival information is both critical and timeless, the time has come for you to greatly improve your survival skills - you and your loved ones' lives depend on your survival knowledge and skills. YOU KNOW THAT THE TIME HAS COME! This rare Air Force Survival Manual (AFM 64-3 Manual) should help you considerably. There is no time to lose! Also great for survivalists and preppers.

9 VOLT BATTERY HOLDERS / 9 VOLT BATTERY CLIPS
METAL CLIPS FOR 9-VOLT RADIO BATTERIES

New old stock (NOS). No more cheezy, expensive, flimsy and plastic 9-volt battery clips/9-volt battery holders for you! These high-quality, well-manufactured, rugged aluminum or steel industrial-grade 9 VDC battery (9V radio battery) clips/holders, while originally not designed to hold batteries but for a different use, these clips securely and snugly hold 9-volt batteries into place. We use a ton of these highly versatile 9V battery holders / 9V battery clips in electronic equipment we build, often to replace existing 9VDC battery holders / 9VDC battery clips in equipment used in our electronic laboratories and shops, and for a very wide variety of other holding, securing, hanging, guide, joining applications for the many other parts, tools, prototype boards, rods, small pipes and cabling which conveniently fit into them.

These 9-volt battery clips can mount batteries in any orientation, and adapt to all kinds of battery clip mounting constraints found in equipment: They can be mounted in any of the 3 axes, and they can hold the battery or other part either on its side or its end. There is a bottom tab in the middle of both sides of the holder, about 1/2" x 1/2" each. Either or both of these tabs can be drilled or punched for a mounting screw or pop rivet hole to mount them on the side or bottom of a project box. And either or both tabs or sides can also be bent out at 90 degrees for flat mounting on the side or bottom of a chassis. And either or both tabs or sides can be sawed off or even broken off with pliers (by bending the tabs up and down several times to induce metal fatigue). The battery clip center or ends can also be punched or drilled for mounting a pop rivet or screw to mount it without the tabs. Or the battery holder can be simply cemented into place or tied in place using tiewrap.

By squeezing in the holder/clip sides, you can considerably stiffen the grip on the battery or other part to prevent it from falling out under even rugged handling of your enclosure (we even mounted one as a test to the underside of a car and it kept the battery in place for 6 months until we removed it); and by pulling the sides slightly more apart, you can considerably loosen the grip on the battery or other part for more easy placement of it. Changing the distances between the sides also allows the clip to be used with parts of varying sizes and shapes. For thinner items, you can use wood, plastic, rubber or cardstock spacers to help secure electronic parts and other parts using these holders. And for thicker items, you can cut off or bend away one side of each of two holders, and then space the holders apart the right distance to accommodate the thicker item.

These holders are so versatile, you should keep at least several in each of your work areas. Aside from holding not only batteries but numerous other small parts, two or more can be used to securely hold, separate and/or route long items, like rods, pipes, tubing, cabling and wiring. And they can be easily used to secure adjacent flat items together in several ways. They are very versatile for many, many uses.

Battery and battery terminals (i.e. battery connectors) are not included. CAUTION: As with all items made from sheet metal, handle with care as getting cuts is always possible if you are not careful, and always of course work safely, including using gloves and protective eyewear, facewear, apron, etc.

We have seen flimsy commercial, non-versatile plastic battery holders sold in electronic stores for 5+ times what we sell these new battery holders for. Unfortunately, apparently because we sell this Item to try to save electronic enthusiasts lots of money in their purchases of battery holders or simply out of jealousy, some have shown hostility towards us for selling this Item in particular. NOTE: As with all Items we sell, this Item is sold strictly under our policies on our policies.htm webpage. If you do not fully accept any of these policies, do not buy this Item. All of our battery holders are on our power-ics.htm webpage.

DO YOU WANT THIS SAME ITEM IN A GREATER QUANTITY AND AT CHEAPER PER-UNIT PRICE AND PER-UNIT S/H COSTS THAN THIS ITEM? IF INTERESTED IN BUYING MORE OF THESE, PLEASE EMAIL US.

(2) HEAVY DUTY HAND DOLLY BRAKES,
CART BRAKES, HAND TRUCK BRAKES

The pair is used and works great. Industrial grade heavy duty dolly brakes / cart brakes.

The last thing you want is a runaway dolly, cart or hand truck! People get seriously injured - even killed - and property gets destroyed! The results can be catastrophic and extremely costly. One way to help prevent dollies, carts and hand trucks from going out of control is to secure stops or brakes to them, and then to properly apply the brakes when the situation arises, for example, you need to go and get help because the load is too heavy for the slope you have to take it down so that you can move the carrier more safely. The brakes are applied and released by the foot, so you don't have to let go of the carrier or load, or precariously bend down to apply them.

UNIQUE ITEM - We have only one of this Item.

HIGH-TECH EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALISM: Many "high-tech business" owners and their employees today are clearly woefully ignorant of the high technologies they sell (including some giant electronic parts houses!). ABQ Techzonics of Albuquerque, NM, USA, is owned by John Williams, M.S.E.E. Mr. Williams is a former Senior Electronics Design Engineer (Lockheed EMSCO); Professor of Computer Science (New Mexico State University (NMSU)); Electronics Weapons Design Engineer (U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force); Health Physicist (National Institutes of Health (NIH)), etc. Williams is also currently President of Lone Star Consulting, Inc. and CEO of Consumertronics.net. While we don't know everything about everything tech (no one does), we have a high level of expertise. We sell a lot of electronic components / electrical components. Most of these electronic components / electrical components are small electronic parts / electrical parts, such as integrated circuits, optical devices, transistors, rectifiers, diodes, transformers, inductors, capacitors, resistors, displays, switches, relays, crystals, oscillators, transducers, sensors, prototyping, connectors, fuses, wire/cable, power components, etc., as well as some larger electronic parts / electrical parts and electronic test equipment, scientific equipment and industrial equipment / parts, electrical equipment / electronic equipment in general, tools, mounting hardware parts, and special materials. And we also buy and trade these types of items (Trade & Buy Offers). And unlike most electrical / electronic components sellers, many of the electrical / electronic component, etc. lots we buy we set aside some of the electrical / electronic parts, etc. for our own electronic projects and research. We sell those electrical / electronic parts, etc. we don't use. Our suppliers know that if their electrical / electronic parts, electronic test equipment, etc. aren't excellent, good chance we will discover it and they'll hear about it!
