(Sorry, we have recently sold out of this Item; we are trying to obtain more.) Used and in very good condition. Rare, Industrial Grade Handheld Wolf Hot Cutter / Wolf Thermal Cutter Power Tool. Basically, you place the material to be cut on a table, you draw a line on it that you want to cut along, then you roll the edge of the cutting wheel along your line to cut. Rotary cutting wheel knife is 3" dia. Maximum cutting depth is 3/8". Handle is wood, 5-1/4" long - well-insulated from the heat. No power rating.

CAUTION: This tool has a very sharp circular cutting edge. It also gets very hot - about as hot as a soldering iron. It needs these two features to be able to smoothly cut thru difficult materials at fairly fast rates. This is a very useful and versatile tool when properly used. Because it is sharp and hot, be very careful and all safety precautions when using and storing it. Wear heat-proof gloves, apron, clothes, shoes and hat. Wear protective eyewear. Use only in a dry, sturdy, level and non-conductive environment and surface. Keep out of reach of animals, children and anyone not fully aware of its potential dangers or not competent to safely handle it. Never touch its blade against flesh, hot or cold. Used and in great condition. This is a heavy steel block with 44 holes drilled in it for holding burrs, bits, rods, etc., 6" x 2" x 1/2". The 11 large holes are 1/4" dia., 33 small holes are 3/16" dia. Steel block is also a very strong and sturdy base for holding work items for painting, sanding, sculpturing, modeling, cementing, etc., and for holding down work. Also serves as a great office heavy paper weight for those times you don't need it for shop use. You can also run bolts, tiewrap ties, wires, rope, etc. through the holes for securing it to something else or other objects to it with these fasteners, etc. These days, most burr holders / bit holders are cheap plastic - this is the real deal!

This rugged steel motor stand is used and in great condition. Great for horizontal applications, such as to mount motors for horizontal grinders, polishers, sanders, routers, drillers, punches, saws, etc. We are also selling the A.O. Smith variable speed motor, #319P852 BL6414, that the stand was originally used for separately on this website. Can be used for many different makes and models of motors, generators, power tools, other electrical and mechanical apparati, pots and other containers which will fit into it and can be secured by it. For smaller diameter objects, stiff rubber padding can always be cemented onto the inside to reduce the diamter accordingly. The stand permits fast and easy removal and switching of various objects you may want to use with it, depending upon your application at the time. 4" tall. 1/4" bolt holes on the three shock-absorber feet are spaced 10.5" apart from each other.

Really nice lathe or milling machine fitting / accessory. We bought this at an estate sale but was unable to find out what its specific use is. It was resting on a lathe, which was next to a milling machine. It does not have any manufacturing or part number information on it that we can find. Do you know what this does or the specific machines it works with? One customer told us that this item is strictly for a wood lathe, and it is the clamp to hold the tool post that the lathe chisels rest on to turn the wood in the lathe, and that this is from a copy crafter attachment for wood lathes, but we have not been able to verify this. Made of heavy steel with an adjustable aluminum block on the bottom attached to the shaft by means of an "eye" bolt that is apparently used to adjust and secure it to the machine it is used with.

Used but in good working condition. Made of steel. 10" tall. Table top is 9+" x 9+", and it can tilt up to 10 degrees forwards or backwards. Manufacturer is unknown. No motor. This is heavy duty, industrial grade, and very sturdy and strong power tool stand for just about the toughest jobs in the metal shop, car shop, machine shop, carpentry shop, crafts shop, etc. It utilizes a cam action (bottom left image of 2nd Image) that drives the tool-holding arm up and down at a rate determined by motor speed and power and the load forces from whatever job it does.

Duo Dual Axes Vibrator / Thumper / Shaker for Bulk Material Handling Shaker Power Tool. This tool is great for installing panels, plywood and sheeting for those construction site type situations where you have tight fits but don't want to take the chance of doing damage using heavy hammer blows to get the parts to fit together. This vibrator thumper shaker is also very useful when you need to handle or align light stacks of plywood, panels or boards. Comes with 3 rubber cups for various vibration types and levels. The rubber cups just slip on or off the steel arms, and can be easily cleaned or replaced (you can buy replacement rubber cups or make your own). Normally held by one hand, with a comfortable grip.

What makes this dual-axes vibrator much more effective than single-contact type vibrators is that it vibrates in two perpendicular axes. By tilting the device so that the edge of each cup is contacting the object being vibrated, much stronger vibrations are sent into the object, thereby obtaining much better and faster results than just using a vibrator thumper shaker with only one contact point.

This vibrator thumper shaker was originally made and sold as a powerful personal therapeutic massager, but has many other great uses, for examples:
          (1) Vibrating copier and printer toner cartridges when they appear out of toner to get 10%-20% more usage out of them (the vibrations cause the toner powder adhering to the toner cartridge inside walls to shake off so it can be used for printing / copying). And to prepare empty printer cartridges / copier cartridges for refilling, or to empty and clean containers of other powders or sticky substances. This vibrator/thumper/shaker can be used to shake the materials out of their containers.
          (2) To more efficiently fill bottles, jars, boxes, packages and trays with small objects (e.g. hardware parts such as screws, nuts and bolts, electronic parts, tool bits, pills, beans, viscous liquids, etc.) - the vibrations with the help of gravity cause the objects to more efficiently settle and closely arrange and compact themselves so that you can efficiently fit more objects into each bottle, jar, box or tray.
          (3) As a concrete vibrator or plaster vibrator to get the concrete or plaster to better settle into vacant spaces, eliminate air bubbles, and compact down. We have found it especially useful for setting posts (e.g. fence posts, sign posts), and for settling concrete pours along edges and corners where the concrete tends to adhere to framing boards, rebar, rocks and soil.
          (4) To help screen objects much faster than just hand-shaking. We have used this type of vibrator to greatly assist us with screening boxes and trays, and got good results with it experimenting with sluice boxes. And we also experimented with this type of vibrator for sanding and filing operations with some success - just a matter of improvising a jig to hold and position it for sanding and filing.
          (5) Vibrating stacks of paper pages so that you can more easily even up the paper stack along the edges. Office supply stores sell expensive paper stack vibrators - this vibrator does the same job just about as well.
          (6) Laboratory and mold shop material vibrator (e.g. plaster impressions). Scientific lab vibrator.
          (7) For mixing powders and liquids. Vibrations also cause stirring and mixing type actions.
          (8) Also great for loosening objects stuck together.
          (9) We even use these vibrators / thumpers to help clean difficult stains from carpets and upholstery. You soak the carpet stain / upholstery stain with your stain remover, then vibrate the soaked stain for about 5 minutes, then clean up the stain remover. We find this type of vibrator much more effective than just rubbing on the stain remover and vacuuming it up and more effective than ultrasonic carpet-cleaner vibrators (it works very similar to the way ultrasonic cleaners clean and polish small items but with much more power and at a lower vibration frequency).

Note, as with all power tools, be sure to wear the right protective gear, such as gloves, goggles, protective shoes, ear plugs, head gear, etc., and to always do things in a safe and sensible manner. This Dual Axes Vibrator, while powerful enough to do or assist in doing all of the jobs described above, does not have the power of a hydraulic jack hammer, nor does it have magical powers to do jobs for those who lack the skills, abilities and common sense to both safely and competently handle power tools.

This is an unmarked dual-electrode probe that does not come with a user manual or original packaging. We do not know what its original application is. It is rugged, heavy-duty and very high quality. Probe is used and in excellent functional condition. We checked and continuity is fine between the probe electrodes and connector pins. The probe has a heavy sliding slam handle in the middle, very similar to a car dent puller tool. This is so you can drive the probe through tough materials with just the right force and no need for a hammer to pound it in. Only the exposed ends of the electrodes are conductive, so measurements are made only between the electrode tips.

This device is very versatile. It can be used to measure something at the electrode end and/or to deliver electrical power or electronic signal to the electrode end, depending upon the equipment you have it connected to. We do not think that it is used on soil, but perhaps to penetrate something tough but relatively uniform like animal hides, tree bark, etc. The probe is clean and free of odors so We have no idea how it was previously used or how much used.

The probe's PL-259 connector is the same connector type used in many, especially older, CB radios, and is found on some electronic test equipment. A BNC adapter is also provided to connect it up to many types of test equipment and signal generators with BNC connectors. Cable is 3' 8" long. Electrodes are about 1/16" thick steel, 1-1/8" long and 1" apart. Electrodes are screwed ON and can be replaced with the same type of electrodes or with other electrodes which will fit.

Probe looks cosmetically very good except for a few scruff marks on body opposite side of cable feed. Probe is about 12-1/4" long and 1-3/4" dia. CAUTION: Electrode tips are pointed and sharp, so please handle with care.

Used and in great condition. Rare Wall Mfg. Trio-R-Heat TL-650/U Soldering Gun (No. 2100 power handle, pistol grip), no tip or dual heating element, comes with a 1-page User Manual. Bottom hole (7/8" dia) has a light bulb (which works), bayonet car type. Top hole (5/8" dia) normally fits a dual soldering heating element, last we looked, both the heating elements and tips were still available (Sears). Also, many other useful plug-ins can be fabricated to use here. Trigger action results in a clicking snap switching action, so you have a firm feel as to when it is triggered ON and OFF. We bought these originally to experiment with possible stun gun applications, and for highly directional remote control applications ("point-and-shoot"). This Wall Mfg. Trio-R-Heat Soldering Gun is almost identical to the Sears Craftsman Professional Soldering Gun, Model 579-273200, 400/150 watts. We have both, and use the same heating element in either with no problem. The only known functional different between these Wall TL-650/U Trio-R-Heat Soldering Guns and the Craftsman 579-273200 Soldering Guns is that the Wall Soldering Guns have a push-ON / push-OFF light switch in the back, while the Craftsman Soldering Gun light comes on only when the trigger is pulled. The Wall also looks better built than the Craftsman. The "400/150 watts" means that the soldering gun idles at 150 watts, but kicks up to 400 watts when applied - which puts it way up on the upper end when it comes to power compared to almost all other soldering guns, which usually top out at 125 - 150 watts when used.

New. Professional, instrumentation-quality 5/8" thick, 40" long flexible goose neck extension / holder / shaft. Much stiffer and longer than standard gooseneck flexible shafts you find on lamps. Has an instrumentation clamp at the end. One end of the gooseneck is a 5/8", 2" long dia. solid stem. The other end has a clamshell type clamp, outer dia. is 1.5" and hole is 0.5", hole is perpendicular to gooseneck shaft. This clamp has two screws at the top; when you remove them, the top semicircle part comes off. You can then place on the bottom half hole a 0.5" or so dia. pipe, tube or rod, and then place and screw the top part back on. Or if you wish, you can just simply bolt right throught the hole what you need to attach to the gooseneck. This clamshell type clamp stiffly rotates independently of the rest of the gooseneck. Of course, either end can be modified to suit your particular needs.

This is the best quality, stiffest gooseneck we 've ever run into. If your load is particularly heavy (5+ lbs), you can easily much increase shaft stiffening by putting heat shrink tubing or even lawn hose over all or part of the shaft (for hose, slit it down the middle its entire length, then work it onto the shaft, then tape or cement the seam closed).

Great for shop, office, scientific laboratory, crafts, sewing, band / orchestra, model-making, robotics, etc. operations! This gooseneck flexible extension can be used to control the position of a mike, tool (e.g. power drill / grinder / polisher, such as Dremel equipment), magnifying glass, microscope, test equipment, lamp, camera, mirror, reference book, phone, small computer or display, monitoring device, parts supply bin, soldering iron, cup holder, etc. that you need immediate or convenient access to but don't want it cluttering up your desk or shelf.       (2) To smooth out wrinkles and to dry out damp areas, especially in curved areas.
      (3) Great for crafters, model-makers, artists and sculptors, and for plastic modeling, modifications, and replacement jobs, this Vin-Max Puff Iron softens plastic to mold plastic sheets and other plastic objects into the shapes you require - sort of a thermal version of an English wheel for thermally shaping plastic.
      (4) Great for repairing cracks, splits and dings, and for smoothing in some plastics. In some cases, this iron can be used to melt the plastic to the point that edges of cracks can be welded together and rough or dinged surfaces smoothed over.
      (5) Can be used to temporarily heat up a confined space.

However, they are high-quality, sturdily-built industrial equipment used to shape, mold, form or curl plastics, soft metals in sheet, cardstock, ribbons, etc. either cold or hot (depending on material shaped and end application). They are not connected to electricity. They are heated in a fire, or preferably, in a curling iron oven / curling iron heater (see above). Can also be used to apply labels, logos and brands. Can also probably be modified to do sanding, grinding and polishing as well, or even pounding, hammering, shaping, pulverizing, mixing, shaking, vibration testing. It has a tube feed assembly, so it was probably used to disperse coolant while cutting metals. We are selling it cheap as we do very little heavy-duty scroll sawing, and we have other lighter scroll saws for cutting things like PC boards, perf boards and plywood.
