SEARCHING FOR ITEMS: Items are enterred in this webpage mostly based on order we obtain them. Please use top-right search box or your Browser Search / Find feature to locate the specific Items of interest or just browse webpage. We listed many Items by more than one name and name variation (e.g. "machine screws", "bolts", "threaded fasteners"). If you can't find Item on webpage, try by other name variations, and then by function and functional variations, then search our other likely webpages, see SITEMAP for links.
ITEM CONDITIONS: Unless otherwise indicated, all items described on this webpage are new old stock (NOS) and never used. We often buy and trade for new electronic parts, electronic test equipment, and other items of the types described herein, preferably in larger quantities, some which we set aside for our own electronic laboratory, shop and other inventories and some we resell herein. Should you have items to sell or trade of these types, please let us know via email. All small parts and materials we acquire for resale herein must be new, but we often buy and trade for used large parts, tools, equipment and books in very good conditions, which we describe as "used" for those we resell. Please email us (please don't call as we are often in our labs), use email Subject: "Buy/Sell/Trade Inquiry."
DESCRIPTIONS & IMAGES: Unlike many Online stores, our goal is to always provide you clear and correct item images, and accurate and reasonably complete item descriptions. While we have tried to be 100% accurate in our descriptions and images, please freely let us know of any errors or omissions made herein, for example, by emailing us URLs to relevant datasheets. While images usually help, most of the items we sell are already well known. If any of our descriptions or images are missing, incomplete or inaccurate and this affects your purchase decision, please email us (please don't phone; put "Need Better Info for Item" in email Subject Line) so we can make reasonable corrections.
POLICIES: Unless explicitly stated otherwise on this webpage, all applicable Techzonics organization policies are found at: www.consumertronics.net/policies.htm.
PAYMENTS: We
accept checks, money orders, PayPal (PP), Money Transfer Service (MTS) payment, trade and cash. Simply email us (wizguru)
a list of what you want (Title, name or part # of each choice), include the
prices with S/H, and your name, shipping address and preferred payment method,
or use one of our Consumertronics Online Order Forms. We ship within
2 work days after full payment clearance period from day of deposit. All payments
must be made in $US. Details below:
(1) FASTEST SHIPPING: U.S. Postal Money Order
(PMO), Canadian PMO (made out in $US), PP, MTS and cash are considered to
be same-as-cash by us - clearance period is zero days. Note: We are not
responsible for cash sent in the mails, so conceal well.
(2) MOs & CHECKS DETAILS: Pay to: "Consumertronics".
ALL NON-PMO MOs & CHECKS : Clearance period: 10+ days if $20-$100,
20+ days if $101-$250, 30+ days if over $250.
(3) MONEY TRANFER SERVICES (MTS) DETAILS: Pay to: "John Williams" (due to fact that using MTS to pay to a business
name is usually a major hassle). All MTS payments over $500 require prior written
approval by us. While almost all MTS arrive here within an hour, a few may take 1-3 days.
(4) PAYPAL (PP) DETAILS: Before paying us by PP, email us with your order details and for our prior approval. Should we verify that your amount is correct and approve PP for you, go to PP. Do a PP "Send Money" to:
"wizguru@consumertronics.net". PP over $50 require prior, explicit,
written approval by us via email, and PP payers must be Verified PP users, which
transaction PP must provide Seller Protection. For both verifiable and repeat
Buyers, ABQ Techzonics may greatly increase the PP limit, in which case,
it emails to Buyer his/her new PP level.
(5) ITEMS FOR TRADE DETAILS: Who doesn't want
to save cash these days! We do accept Items of Trade. By doing Items For Trade,
you save money and get rid of good Item(s) you need less than Items we offer.
Prior explicit permission from us is required before you ship to us any Item
for trade. If interested, email us (wizguru,
put in email Subject Line: "Item for Trade Inquiry.") with full details
of what you have to offer and what you want for it (you must have sole and exclusive
ownership of all Items you offer to us for trade). Include complete description
of all Item(s), including Item make and model/part numbers, conditions, quantities,
defects. Please do NOT phone us about Items of trade. If interested we will
email you back with conditional acceptance or a counteroffer. If mutual acceptance
results, we will then email you our permission to ship the Items, which you
do at your S/H expense. Once your trade Items arrive here, we will examine them,
which usually takes 3-20 days. If acceptable to us, we will ship (at our S/H
expense within 2 work days) what we had agree to trade to you. Note: We do not
want old TVs,VCRs, home systems, computers, monitors or peripherals or big,
heavy items, and all items must be clean and safe to ship and handle. Again,
don't ship us anything until you receive our written explicit approval to do
so.
(6) PAY EXACT FULL AMOUNT: Please pay the exact
full amount of your purchase + S/H (email us if you are not sure). If you overpay
us by more than 5% or $100 (whichever is less), allow 90-120 days for us to
refund you the difference.
(7) UNACCEPTABLE PAYMENT TYPES: No credit cards, debit cards,
CODs, partial payments, postdated payments, "on approvals", direct bank transfers, gift cards, foreign currency, bitcoins (or any other form of virtual money), or any other types of payments or shipment not explicitly OKed herein or by us in writing
prior to payment. Furthermore, we reserve the right to refuse any order, form
of payment, or buyer-imposed sale or shipping conditions without liability to
us. For our good buyers: We are more flexible in types of payments and shipping
conditions. FOREIGN BUYERS: Some items may be restricted by government
regulations for export, and Buyers assume all liability for the legality of
our shipments to them and their purchases, possessions and uses of the items
we ship to them.
NOTE: Prior to Paying for Your Order, be sure to first check and verify by email our stated availabilities, costs, and S/H. Due to a recently past staff shortage over last few years, we are trying to catch up. Availabilities: About 95% of Items listed as available are still available. Prices: About 50% of Items have changed prices, both up and down, depends on the Item. S/H: Increase all stated S/Hs by 25% (blame the shippers). Taxes: New Mexico and some other States, Counties and Cities (but not all) now levy an Online sales tax, which if due, we must collect (blame the politicians). Also, do not pay by PayPal without our prior, explicit and written OK (due to hacking attempts on our PP account; if we need to refund a PP payment for any reason, we charge the Buyer a 10% fee).
PRICING: We are flexible in our prices and S/H - especially for our good customers and for quantity and multi-item orders - we want to be fair to both you and us. Prices are stated below Item Description. We determined Item price based on prices of similar items found Online and in stores. In cases of no clear Online or store price consensus, other sources were used. If our price is too high for any item we sell, we will seriously consider reducing our price - especially if you document that others are selling this same or equivalent item at lower prices in the quantity you need - our goal is to beat our competitors! For many items, we are not limited to the quantities shown - should you need more and we have what you need available, we will seriously consider your offer. By buying an item in quantity and/or more than one item, you much reduce your S/H costs per unit. In most cases we can also do less quantity if your total order is $10+ (+S/H) and average price of your items is $5+ each. Just email us with your needs, your counter-offers, and/or items you want to trade.
SPECIAL DISCOUNTS: Until ___________, 20___, you may take _______% off of the price of any and all Items described on this webpage in which the word "Firm" does not appear next to the price.
SPECIAL QUANTITY DEALS SAVES YOU MONEY: Larger quantity (and multiple Item and local pickup and delivery) sales almost always result in per-unit $Item-plus-S/H savings for YOU! We have some Items in much larger quantities than offered above as usually stated in Item description. Yes, if we have the quantity to meet your higher quantity needs, we will seriously consider any reasonable and mutually fair offer you propose which will not only get you the quantity you need but at a substantial savings to you in per unit price and per unit S/H costs (quantity evenly divisible by 10 or 25). We will seriously consider underselling all other major sellers of the same items.
SHIPPING & HANDLING & COMBINED CHARGES: Where S/H is stated, it is stated for CONTINENTAL USA ORDERS. Shipping part of S/H is based on actual Shipping charges. For multiple Items shipped to you in the same package, we will COMBINE S/H CHARGES to save YOU money! So buy all of the Items you need from us now. Where S/H is not stated, the following S/H charges apply (NOTE: All purchases over $1,000, while prepaid, are available for pickup only, proper ID is required, and receiver must sign a receipt for all Items):
CONTINENTAL USA ORDERS: $7.90.
NON-CONTINENTAL USA ORDERS: $12.90.
FOREIGN ORDERS: Please inquire. Minimum foreign Air Mail S/H is $14.90 Canada, and $22.90 all other foreign addresses, so please order as much as you can to save substantial foreign S/H.
MULTIPLE ITEMS SAVE YOU MUCH S/H CHARGES!: We are your perfect one-stop-shopping Super Store for high-tech parts to fill your parts lists! S/H is now expensive and shippers are constantly increasing their rates; to save YOU much in S/H, please order all that you need from us today from this webpage and all of our other webpages, pay for them all in full in one payment to be shipped all together to same address. ALL USA & CANADA ORDERS: You pay full S/H for your most S/H-costly Item plus half S/H for each and every other Item you buy. ALL OTHER FOREIGN ORDERS: Please inquire.
SHIPPING METHOD: For USA, we usually use Priority Mail or Media Mail (if book or manual) if Shipping charge is less than 75% of the S/H stated above. All foreign Shipping is by Air Mail. Other forms of USA shipping, including UPS, FedEx, Overnight, Second Day Air, Insured, etc. are usually OK but the S/H will be higher. We will not charge shipping to Buyer's shipper account.

MECHANICAL FASTENER HARDWARE: Machine Screws, Wood Screws, Bolts, Nuts, Washers, Nails, Wingnuts, Clips, Hose Clamps, Anchors, Insulators, Other Fasteners, Springs, Grommets, Pipes, Tubes, Fittings, etc.:
(4) 1/4" COATED STEEL CABLE CLAMPS / CABLE CLIPS
DUAL CLAMPS / CLIPS: CABLES, WIRE BUNDLES, RODS, TUBES, ROPES
CARS, TRUCKS, BIKES, MOTORCYCLES, AIRPLANES, BOATS, SHOPS,
HOMES, RECLINERS, GYM, SPORTS, LAWN EQUIPMENT, and PLUMBING
for ELECTRICAL, COMPUTER, MECHANICAL, LIFTING, TOWING, PLUMBING
for CABLES, WIRES, ROPES, RODS, TUBES, SHELVES
New old stock (NOS). Strong, versatile plastic-coated Steel Cable Clips/Clamps, Dual Cable Clips/Clamps, to secure 1/4" diameter cables, wires, tubes, rods, ropes (works well with diameters of 3/16" - 5/16"). Includes 1/4"-20 threaded screws, which clamp together the two plate halves, and which can also anchor the clamps onto wood, metal or plastic surfaces. These cable clamps have a rugged and durable plastic coating for much stronger gripping and much reduced fraying, and for electrical insulation / thermal insulation / mechanical insulation. Each clamp plate is 1" x 3/4". One plate is 1/4"-20 threaded, the other has a 1/4" thru hole.
These cable clamps are great for: Securing looped cables, parallel cables, joining broken cables, reinforcing damaged and frayed cables, and removing slack in overly-long cables, wires and ropes. Great for securing or guiding 3/16" - 5/16" wires, tubes, rods and ropes for numerous other applications, and as nail and screw guides. These clamps can also clamp cables, rods, tubes, etc. with diameters under about 3/16", just slide on rubber/plastic tubing over clamped area. And they can also clamp diameters over 5/16" (up to about 3/8") by using small washer(s) or nut(s) between the plates to space them if you need to.
These dual cable clamps can also be used as sliding guides for cables, wires, tubes, rods and ropes under 3/16" dia. And as tool holders and parts holders for screwdrivers and other tools and parts with shaft dia. under 1/4". Other uses for these dual cable clips is to parallel or to neatly separate from each other (i.e. space off) cables, wires, ropes, rods and tubes. And for non-electrical cables, wires, ropes, rods and tubes, they can also be used to extend their lengths by adding on additional lengths of these objects.
These cable clamps are also terrific for building
up and converting shelves made of 1/4" rods (like those sold at Home Depot and
Lowes) into longer shelves, wider shelves, containers, partitions, fences, barriers,
gates, doors, covers, window covers, platforms, gurneys, pens, tree protectors,
passage ways, etc. simply by using these dual clamps to clamp shelf sections
and pieces together rod-to-rod.
These cable clamp plates can also be used separately
as nuts and washers - push the thru-hole plate to the screw head end as the
washer, insert the screw into object, then use the threaded plate as the nut.
And of course they can be used where only single cable clamps are used as well,
and paralleled where more than two clamps are needed. And of course these cable
clamps are re-usable. When done with one application, simply remove and store
them to use them for your next application.
These cable clamps have practically endless things
they can be used on, including cars, trucks, RVs, trailers, motorcycles, bikes,
planes, boats, shops, labs, homes, job sites, sports, travel, recliners, gym
equipment, sports, lawn equipment, and plumbing - in all of those countless
places that use cables, wires, ropes, rods and tubes. They have so many practical
uses, we always keep a handful of them in all of our tool boxes, shops and laboratory
areas. So many important uses that we also highly recommend these cable clamps
for survivalists and preppers.

(1000) CABLE TIES, ASSORTED, VARIOUS SIZES &
COLORS, ZIP TIE WRAPS
New old stock (NOS), in original bubble package. 1,000 Assorted Zip Tie Wraps (Cable Ties) of various colors and sizes (7 types): (A) 20 white, 11-3/4"; (B) 50 black, 9-3/4" (top of image, hard to see); (C) 80 purple, 7-7/8"; (D) 100 red, 7"; (E) 150 yellow, 5-7/8"; (F) 300 green, 4-3/4"; and (G) 300 blue, 4". These should meet about your every cable tie need for a long time.
IDEAL CABLE TIE PACKAGING: You hang this package on a wall - especially great for the shop. Our method is when we need a cable tie from an unopened bubble, we just cut a small slit at the top of that bubble and remove the cable tie. The primary thing that makes any cable tie age and become brittle is exposure to air. If you keep cable ties in a box or jar, they will be exposed to much air and everytime you open it, all its cable ties will be exposed to more air, and in a year or so, the cable ties will likely dry up, become brittle and worthless. Using our method, minimal air is inside the bubble at all times, and the bubbles also protect them from exposures to water, dirt, grease, oils, chemicals. With this package, zip ties are highly visible so you can easily determine which ones are ideal for each of your needs. And at all times, you know how many zip ties you have left of every size and color, so you can then replenish depleted bubbles as needed. This is a great system! Package is 16-1/2"x10-1/2"x2".

(6) CASTLE NUTS / CASTELLATED NUTS / SLOTTED
NUTS / CROWN NUTS
1/2"-20, STEEL
New old stock (NOS). Steel Castle Nuts / Castellated Nuts / Slotted Nuts (also called Crown Nuts by some), 1/2" ID, 20 TPI. Fine threads. These are very high quality castle nuts from a military supply. Sold as shown in image.
WHY CASTLE NUTS ARE CRITICAL: Castle nuts are critical
fasteners for some nut applications. The bolt or axle the castle nut is used
on typically has 1-2 holes drilled thru its threaded end by the bolt maker (you
can drill your own bolt hole if you wish). The castle nut is torqued optimally
and then, if a slot is not aligned with the hole in the bolt/axle, the nut is
rotated slightly tighter or looser to expose the hole in the nearest nut slot.
The nut is then secured with safety wire, cotter pin (split pin), R-clip, or
hitch pin clip (a bent paper clip or even a hair pin might work well in a pinch,
at least temporarily). The castle nut is a positive locking device. Castle nuts
are critical for low-torque applications (eg: holding wheel bearings snugly
into place while allowing the wheel to freely spin). Low-torque works because
the pin thru the bolt or axle and nut slot securely holds the castle nut into
place while allowing free motion between the part mounted on the bolt/axle and
the bolt/axle.
Of course, castle nuts can also be used as standard
nuts; in fact, we prefer them to standard nuts because you can tighten and loosen
them by also using a slotted screwdriver (great for tight spaces), and pliers
slip less on them, and you can use locking pliers to pinch the top threads of
the nuts to lock them onto their bolts, and for better lubrication access to
the nuts.
We also use castle nuts as small workholding
tools for our fine electronic, crafts and modeling work to hold or clamp small
parts across the slots to work on them (filing, soldering, cementing, coating,
etc.).

HOW TO BUY SPECIALTY NUTS & BOLTS - SAVES YOU $$$: When most people need specialty nuts, bolts or other hardware, they search for replacement hardware based on the make and model of the equipment the original nuts or bolts came from, where the hardware was used on it, or based on the fastener's part # - big mistakes! Some equipment dealers love to astronomically price small items, like nuts and bolts. We have seen advertised Online castle nuts for particular equipment priced as high as $20 EACH NUT! Because castle nuts are specialty nuts more difficult to manufacture, they are more expensive than just plain standard nuts, however, $20 each nut is too high. Instead of going by the make, model or part number, first look for the type of nuts* and bolts you require in the ID size and threads-per-inch (TPI) you require (to ascertain TPI requires a matching bolt/nut of known size and TPI, or a thread gauge (a common toolbox tool)). If you can find the nuts and/or bolts you require using this method, they may be priced at a fraction of an equipment dealer's price - as they are from us, you can save yourself much money by buying from us. While there are many variations of nuts and of bolts, most are standard SAE (english) sizes and TPIs (usually the bolt or nut is coarse-threaded or fine-threaded; some are metric sizes). For critical requirements, nut or bolt hardness may also be a factor (usually military, aircraft or heavy industrial uses). *SOME TYPES OF SPECIALTY NUTS: Castle nuts, acorn nuts, flanged nuts, standoff nuts, locking nuts, jam nuts, barrel nuts, cage nuts, captive nuts, clip-on nuts, coupling nuts, distorted-thread locknuts, frangible nuts, insert nuts, jet nuts, Keps nut, knurled nuts, locknuts, lug nuts, Nyloc nuts, Palnut nuts, panel nuts, plate nuts, rivet nuts, serrated nuts, sleeve nuts, speed nuts, split nuts, T-nuts, well nuts, wingnuts, etc.
DO YOU WANT THIS SAME ITEM IN A GREATER QUANTITY AND AT CHEAPER PER-UNIT PRICE AND PER-UNIT S/H COSTS THAN THIS ITEM? IF INTERESTED IN BUYING MORE OF THESE, PLEASE EMAIL US.

Of course, castle nuts can also be used as standard
nuts; in fact, we prefer them to standard nuts because you can tighten and loosen
them by also using a slotted screwdriver (great for tight spaces), and pliers
slip less on them, and you can use locking pliers to pinch the top threads of
the nuts to lock them onto their bolts, and for better lubrication access to
the nuts.
We also use castle nuts as small workholding
tools for our fine electronic, crafts and modeling work to hold or clamp small
parts across the slots to work on them (filing, soldering, cementing, coating,
etc.).
The nut is then secured with safety wire, or a cotter pin (split pin) or R-clip
(a bent paper clip usually also works well). The castle nut is a positive locking
device. Castle nuts are critical for low-torque applications (eg: holding wheel
bearings into place). Low-torque works because the pin thru the bolt or axle
and nut slot securely holds the castle nut into place while allowing free motion
between the part mounted on the bolt/axle and the bolt/axle.
Of course, castle nuts can also be used as regular
nuts; in fact, we prefer them to regular nuts because you can tighten and loosen
them by also using a slotted screwdriver (great for tight spaces), and pliers
slip less on them, and you can use locking pliers to pinch the top threads of
the nuts to lock them onto their bolts, and for better lubrication access to
the nuts. We also use castle nuts as small workholding tools for our fine electronic,
crafts and modeling work to hold or clamp small parts across the slots to work
on them (soldering, cementing, etc.).

(6) CASTLE NUTS / CASTELLATED NUTS / SLOTTED
NUTS / CROWN NUTS
LOCKING NUTS, 1/4"-28, STEEL
New old stock (NOS). Steel Locking Castle Nuts / Castellated Nuts / Slotted Nuts (also called Crown Nuts by some), 1/4" ID, 28 TPI. Fine threads. These are rare locking nut-type castle nuts; see green plastic inside the nuts. These are very high quality castle nuts from a military supply. Sold as shown in image. (100) ANTIQUE STEEL SQUARE NAILS, RUSTIC AMERICANA,
2-1/2"
Used and in very good condition. 100 Antique Square Nails, Steel, 2-1/2" long. Rustic Americana. These were stored in a big box in an old barn (from the same lot that built the barn), so some have some surface rust. Great for restoring or replicating antique furniture and buildings. We find that these square nails actually hold better and look better than most modern round nails. So these square nails are also great for some modern constructions, fences, sheds, barns, posts, and other carpentry. We have found that square nails have much less tendency than round nails to bend when you hammer them, and to vibrate out or twist out due to vibrations. Sometimes, the old technology works best.

(100) STEEL DOME WASHERS, 3/8" OD, 1/8"
ID
Ideal for Size 4 Screws
New old stock (NOS). Steel Domed Washers, 3/8" OD, 1/8" ID. Great for Size 4 screws (e.g. 4-40 screws). Domed washers are popularly found in clocks, knives, jewelry, electronic devices and toys, but have virtually unlimited uses. The dome shape adds a spring force to the held object, thereby keeping the screw more secure (similar to a lock washer), and thus less likely to be loosened because of mechanical vibration or shock. Domed washers also more securely hold rounded and odd-shaped objects. We also use these domed washers to securely mount electronic switches and potentiometers with 1/8" shafts.

(10) STEEL 1/2"-13 FLANGED NUTS / CROWN NUTS /
HAT NUTS/CAP NUTS/T-NUTS/TEE NUTS/LOCKING NUTS
New old stock (NOS). 1/2"-13 TPI Flange Nuts / Crown Nuts / Hat Nuts / Cap Nuts / T-Nuts / Tee Nuts / Serrated Locking Nuts. These steel flanged nuts are really great for multiple uses. First, they eliminate the need for obtaining and placing separate lock washers for all kinds of work - saving you time and money. Second, you can countersink a wood, plastic or metal handle or other object, and weld/solder/epoxy the hat nut into the recess, then (after setting) screw in whatever attachments or home made tools you wish to create.
Third, these hat nuts can be modified to repair clamps missing their rotational cup at the end of the threaded clamp shaft. The most common way clamps break is the rotational cup mangles or breaks off and all is left is a naked ball, usually resulting in tossing clamp - loss of money. These hat nuts can be easily used to replace the missing clamp cup to repair a broken clamp. What we do to save clamps with broken or missing cups - even improve clamps - is we countersink the underside of the hat nut with about a 9/16" dia. bit to a recess edge depth of about 3/16" (upside down, hat nuts are easily secured in a vise). If the clamp shaft ball is 5/16" 3/8" dia., it will fit nicely through the nut's 1/2" threaded hole. If the shaft ball is greater than about 7/16" dia., up to about 9/16" dia., we ream or drill out the rest of the hat nut and/or grind off the excess ball dia. We then grind the ball end flat. We slip the hat nut, serrated end down, over the flattened shaft ball. If the shaft dia. is less than 1/2", we weld/solder/epoxy a washer at the neck top of the shaft ball before placing on the hat nut On to stop the hat nut from sliding onto the upper shaft. Once the hat nut is On, we place a small washer that fits inside the hat nut drilled-out recess, and weld/solder/epoxy washer to the flattened bottom of the of the shaft ball, being careful not to also spill onto the hat nut so it will rotate. After setting, you now have a new heavy-duty rotational cup on your clamp - a cup that is likely superior to the clamp's original cup. If the diameter of the flanged end of nut is too small or you don't like steel serrations contacting held objects, you can easily weld/solder/epoxy a washer onto the nut bottom.

(10) STEEL 3/8"-16 FLANGED NUTS / CROWN NUTS/
HAT NUTS/CAP NUTS/T-NUTS/TEE NUTS/LOCKING NUTS
New old stock (NOS). 3/8"-16 TPI Flange Nuts / Crown Nuts / Hat Nuts / Cap Nuts / T-Nuts / Tee Nuts / Locking Serrated Nuts.
What we do to save clamps with broken or missing cups - even improve clamps - is we countersink the underside of the hat nut with about a 1/2" dia. bit to a recess edge depth of about 1/8" (upside down, hat nuts are easily secured in a vise). If the clamp shaft ball is 1/4" - 5/16" dia., it will fit nicely through the nut's 3/8" threaded hole. If the shaft ball is greater than about 5/16" dia., upto about 7/16" dia., we ream or drill out the rest of the hat nut and/or grind off the excess ball dia. We then grind the ball end flat. We slip the hat nut, serrated end down, over the flattened shaft ball. If the shaft dia. is less than 3/8", we weld/solder/epoxy a washer at the neck top of the shaft ball before placing on the hat nut On to stop the hat nut from sliding onto the upper shaft. Once the hat nut is On, we place a small washer that fits inside the hat nut drilled-out recess, and weld/solder/epoxy washer to the flattened bottom of the of the shaft ball, being careful not to also spill onto the hat nut so it will rotate. After setting, you now have a new heavy-duty rotational cup on your clamp - a cup that is likely superior to the clamp's original cup because the serrations grip objects really well. If the diameter of the flanged end of nut is too small or you don't like steel serrations contacting held objects, you can easily weld/solder/epoxy a washer onto the nut bottom or cement on a suitable plastic or rubber washer.

(20) 5/16"-18 TINNERMAN CLIPS / J-CLIPS
FASTENER CLIPS / PANEL CLIPS / SPEAKER CLIPS /
SPEED CLIPS / COMPRESSION CLIPS / SPRING CLIPS
New old stock (NOS). 5/16"-18 Tinnerman Nuts, J-Clips / J-Nuts (referred by some as U-Clips, U-Nuts), Tinnerman Clips, Speed Nuts, Panel Nuts, Speaker Nuts, Spring Nuts, Compression Nuts, Clip Fasteners. 7/8" long, 11/16" wide, 7/16" thick. Throat depth is 7/16" (distance between nut center hole and inside of the "J"). Black, industrial grade, heavy duty. Looks like military surplus.
These are great! Normal use is to secure objects to panels thereby securing the objects while reinforcing the strength of the panels, and to secure panels to frames (e.g. car door panels to car door frames, car fenders) or to other panels, and securing pieces of paneling or sheetmetal sheets together. So many other uses. Great as a pinch for common 5/16" nuts. You can grind off the bottom washer for straight nut uses with built-in square washers (you can use the overhang left of the top washer to grip the object edge or dig into the object surface for a lockwasher type effect or just also grind it off). The lower part can also be bent out up to 90 degrees (e.g. for use as small hanging hooks for tools, parts, aprons, etc., and as small grappling hooks or gripping hooks for ropes, straps and chains). Or as small angle brackets. These are the same, usually costly, car body tinnerman nuts used on many vintage vehicles (e.g. 1969-1980 Camaro, Chevelle, Buick, Pontiac fender wheel house U-clips).

(10) 3/8"-16 T-NUTS + (14) 5/16"-18
T-NUTS + (20) 1/4"-20 T-NUTS
New old stock (NOS). Great selection of (10) 3/8"-16
T-Nuts + (14) 5/16"-18 T-Nuts + (20) 1/4"-20 T-Nuts. These are excellent
quality industrial-grade nuts are very strong fasteners and versatile hardware.
The rare long necks on the 5/16" and 1/4" T-nuts are 7/8" long.
The 3/8" T-nut neck is 5/8" long. Also commonly known as tee-nuts,
flanged nuts, flange nuts, pronged nuts, prong nuts, hat nuts and barrel nuts.
These are typically used to bolt to wood boards. The purpose of the prongs is
to be hammered into the board to dig into the wood so that the T-nut won't turn
when the bolt is tightened.
By grinding or cutting off the prongs, these fasteners have many other uses:
(1) Join two together using a common bolt and you have
a strong steel bobbin, spool, spindle or rope handle (for a wider bobbins/spools/spindles/handles
or where you want the center to rotate, insert a pipe or tube between them).
(2) Wrap the shaft with magnet wire and run an iron
bolt through one end, and you have an adjustable inductor (inductance adjusted
by turning the bolt in or out) - great for science experiments. By using an
longer sliding iron rod or bolt inside, you can make yourself a solenoid or
actuator.
(3) Mount a small lens in one end and insert it into
a door, and you have a door peephole.
(4) Cement them into metal, plastic, rubber or ceramic
objects, and you have a threaded holes in non-wood objects.
(5) Cement one (or two opposing T-nuts in line) into
any object, and you have a strong re-inforced hole - great for passing cable,
rope, rods and tubes, and as bushings and guides for axles and spindles for
examples.
(6) Use as flanged standoff nuts (coupler nuts, coupling
nuts, joiner nuts) - they have about as many threads as standard stand-off nuts
so you can securely screw in bolts into both ends. Especially nice if you need
end flanges, or cylindrical or thinner body stand-off nuts.
(7) Great for use as guides for sliding windows, sliding
boards and sliding doors no thicker than about 3/4" by mounting (with flange
ends out) at least two T-nuts on each side of sliding object.
(8) Great for use as permanent or temporary knobs for
drawers and cabinet doors.
(9) Great for hanging tools, parts and other objects
by mounting (with flange end out) on vertical mounting boards, walls, drawers
or cabinets.
T-nuts are versatile, general purpose hardware which you should always have
a good selection in your hardware inventory. Great for carpentry, crafts, electrical,
and general shop uses.
LIMITED QUANTITY. We have only a few of these popular lots left.

(100) 8-32 1/2" ZINC-COATED STEEL PHILLIPS
SCREWS
BINDER-HEAD SCREWS + (100) 8-32 NUT/WASHER ASSEMBLIES
New old stock (NOS). Binder-headed screws look very similar to pan-headed screws, but from my experience bind to the attached object better for securer attachments, especially in a mechanical vibration or shock environment. The nut/washer assemblies are hex nuts with attached external star washers, making it much easier to screw in things than if you have to separately fumble with a washer. 1/2" is the optimum size for many sheet metal / plate metal and sheet plastic applications, as well as for most brackets, hinges, latches, etc. Great electronics hardware / mechanical hardware!

(28) EYE SCREW, L-HOOK, ?-HOOK,
GATE LATCHES, WOOD THREADS
All new parts. Family-pack set includes popular sizes as shown, 6 each 1-3/4" eye screws; 10 each 1-7/8" L-hook screws; 10 each 1-3/4" ?-hook screws; and 2 each 1-1/4" gate latches / cabinet latches / cage latches for a total of 28 pieces of wood screw hardware. If you buy them in a hardware store, the price generally ranges between 50 cents and $1+ or each screw - plus you have to spend your time going to and from the store, finding parking, and finding and buying the item, and pay for your gas (and you know how expensive gas is these days!) and vehicle wear-and-tear on top of all the inconvenience just to find that one stupid screw you need! It makes great sense to keep a supply of these readily on hand in your home, shop and/or business. Keep in your tool box, tool cabinet, kitchen drawer, etc.
I bought a ton of these and use them often in my shop, laboratory, offices, home, yard and in the field, and am selling here the ones in excess of my needs. They are also very useful hardware for the factory, farm, ranch, RV, campsite, hunting and fishing.
Please note that we are also selling several other pack sizes of this type of hardware, so please visit my webpages or Auctions should you need more than one pack.

5/8" PLYWOOD CLIPS
New old stock (NOS). These are high-quality, rugged aluminum or steel industrial-grade plywood clips/holders, 5/8" plywood, typically used in roofing and walls. We use a ton of these highly versatile plywood clips for a wide variety of other holding, securing, hanging, guide, joining applications for other parts, tools, prototype boards, rods, small pipes and cabling which conveniently fit into them.
These plywood clips can mount parts and materials in any orientation, and adapt to all kinds of mounting constraints found in construction and equipment: They can be mounted in any of the 3 axes, and they can hold the part or material either on its side or its end. There is a bottom tab in the middle of both sides of the holder, about 1/2" x 1/2" each. Either or both of these tabs can be drilled or punched for a mounting screw or pop rivet hole to mount them on the side or bottom of a project box. And either or both tabs or sides can also be bent out at 90 degrees for flat mounting on the side or bottom of a chassis. And either or both tabs or sides can be sawed off or even broken off with pliers (by bending the tabs up and down several times to induce metal fatigue). The clip center or ends can also be punched or drilled for mounting a pop rivet or screw to mount it without the tabs. Or the holder can be simply cemented into place or tied in place using tiewrap.
By squeezing in the holder/clip sides, you can considerably stiffen the grip on the part or material, and prevent it from falling out under even rugged handling (we even mounted one as a test to the underside of a car and it kept the part in place for 6 months until we removed it); and by pulling the sides slightly more apart, you can considerably loosen the grip on the part or material for easy placement of it. Changing the distances between the sides also allows the clip to be used with parts of varying sizes and shapes. For thinner items, you can use wood, plastic, rubber or cardstock spacers to help secure electronic parts and other parts using these holders. And for thicker items, you can cut off or bend away one side of each of two holders, and then space the holders apart the right distance to accommodate the thicker item.
These holders are so versatile, you should keep at least several in each of your work areas. Aside from holding not only plywood and other construction materials, but numerous other small parts, two or more can be used to securely hold, separate and/or route long items, like rods, pipes, tubing, cabling and wiring. And they can be easily used to secure adjacent flat items together in several ways. They are very versatile for many, many uses.
CAUTION: As with all items made from sheet metal, handle with care as getting cuts is always possible if you are not careful, and always of course work safely, including using gloves and protective eyewear, facewear, apron, etc.
NOTE: As with all Items we sell, this Item is sold strictly under our policies on our policies.htm webpage. If you do not fully accept any of these policies, do not buy this Item.
DO YOU WANT THIS SAME ITEM IN A GREATER QUANTITY AND AT CHEAPER PER-UNIT PRICE AND PER-UNIT S/H COSTS THAN THIS ITEM? IF INTERESTED IN BUYING MORE OF THESE, PLEASE EMAIL US.

(20) DURABLE WALL PLUGS FOR CABLES, CORDS, WIRES,
TUBING
New old stock (NOS). High-quality, industrial-grade durable ribbed plastic wall plugs for passing TV, computer, power, communications and network cables, cords and wires between rooms, through walls, ceilings, floors, studs and joists, and wood shelves, computer desks and other furniture. Not the cheap kind you find in some stores. Also highly recommended for passing copper tubing, plastic tubing and rubber tubing through walls and partitions, and as a guide for glass tubing in the laboratory. Also, highly recommended to protect and reinforce a wall, stud, rafter or other structure which you are running a bolt through. You can also bolt two of these together to make nice permanent spools, or mount them with their stems up to make nice spool holders, or mount them with the stems down to make nice holders for screwdrivers and other tools with shafts that will fit (hole diameter is 5/16"). You can also use them to cover up and reinforce badly drilled, worn, water-damaged and stripped holes - they are ribbed to increase their grip strength. These wall plugs protect your cables, tubes and bolts much better, look professional and much nicer, add structural strength, and prevent mice, bugs, moisture and unpleasant air from traversing through the holes than the larger, raw, ragged, unsealed holes (usually much larger than the cable diameter because the connector must also pass through the structure). Before inserting the wall plug, we recommed that you put a bead of cement or caulking around its stem and under its cap for stronger holding and complete sealing. If your cable, cord, wire or tube is already installed or has connectors too large for the wall plug, the work-around is that you simply use a hacksaw, bandsaw or other saw, cutters or knife with a fine blade to carefully cut through the length of the wall plug, then open up the sawed side to pass the cable or tube through, then close it back up again to contain the cable or tube, then insert into wall, stud, furniture, etc. We prefer to use these wall plugs in their normal black color to easily identify holes made to pass cables and tubes, however, if color-matching is a big issue with you, just simply paint them the color you choose (usually the same color of the structure). Shown on the left are the single-hole type for one cable, and on the right, double-hole type for two cables.
LIMITED QUANTITY. We have only a few lots of these left.

HIGH-TECH EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALISM: Many "high-tech business" owners and their employees today are clearly woefully ignorant of the high technologies they sell (including some giant electronic parts houses!). ABQ Techzonics of Albuquerque, NM, USA, is owned by John Williams, M.S.E.E. Mr. Williams is a former Senior Electronics Design Engineer (Lockheed EMSCO); Professor of Computer Science (New Mexico State University (NMSU)); Electronics Weapons Design Engineer (U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force); Health Physicist (National Institutes of Health (NIH)), etc. Williams is also currently President of Lone Star Consulting, Inc. and CEO of Consumertronics.net. While we don't know everything about everything tech (no one does), we have a high level of expertise. We sell a lot of electronic components / electrical components. Most of these electronic components / electrical components are small electronic parts / electrical parts, such as integrated circuits, optical devices, transistors, rectifiers, diodes, transformers, inductors, capacitors, resistors, displays, switches, relays, crystals, oscillators, transducers, sensors, prototyping, connectors, fuses, wire/cable, power components, etc., as well as some larger electronic parts / electrical parts and electronic test equipment, scientific equipment and industrial equipment / parts, electrical equipment / electronic equipment in general, tools, mounting hardware parts, and special materials. And we also buy and trade these types of items (Trade & Buy Offers). And unlike most electrical / electronic components sellers, many of the electrical / electronic component, etc. lots we buy we set aside some of the electrical / electronic parts, etc. for our own electronic projects and research. We sell those electrical / electronic parts, etc. we don't use. Our suppliers know that if their electrical / electronic parts, electronic test equipment, etc. aren't excellent, good chance we will discover it and they'll hear about it!
