Versatile Slip Seal Dunnage Dispensor, Shipping Peanut / Shipping Popcorn Dispenser Tool, gravity-fed, with static electric-free Chute, aluminum, one-handed manual operation. If you do much packing then you likely use much styrofoam packing peanuts and/or other small materials, then this Slip Seal Dunnage Dispenser is a must for you. This Slip Seal Dunnage Dispenser has a 5" valve for faster material flow.This very versatile heavy duty packing "Peanut" dispenser easily handles any brand of polystyrene loose fill, plus many other materials.

Normally, a bag filled with packing/shipping materials is attached to the open end of the chute, and then the bottom of the chute is hung upside down from a sturdy ceiling hook using rope or chain (bag, rope, chain, hook not included). Then, whenever you need to add shipping peanuts or other materials to a shipping box or bag, you simply place the open box/bag under the mouth of this great dispenser tool, squeeze the handles to the opening size you need to easily and efficiently dispense the amount of materials you need. Skin contact with and air dispersal of the dispensed materials are minimal, which many consider styrofoam materials to be chemically unsafe. And no longer do you have to frustratingly contend with packing peanuts sticking to your hands or clothes because of their static electricity or falling onto the floor.

This Item does not come with its original canvas bag, which is far too heavy and bulky for most practical uses (made of heavy duck canvas material). Most Mom & Pop type operations do fine with most any large, cheap commonly-available bag to hold the materials. Also, with used dispenser bags, you seldom know for sure all the materials that the bag once held. We heard of one case where a business bought a used shipping materials dispenser that had in its past been used to dispense real peanuts, the new operator had a severe peanut allergy, resulting in a tragic and very costly situation. We also do not recommend the 6" dia. version for smaller operations because the 6" version requires much more physical strength and large hand to use, and thus both hands are usually required for 6"versions, while this 5" version is easily operated with one hand by many people, freeing up the other hand to position and maneuver the container being filled and/or its contents.

While originally designed to dispense packing peanuts, this very versatile dispensing tool can also be used to hold, carry, measure, sort and/or quickly dispense just about any other group of small objects, such a real peanuts, nuts, grains, seeds, small fruit, popcorn, granular powders, screws, nuts, bolts, nails, other small mechanical hardware, electronic parts, crafts parts and filling materials, gems, stones, fertilizers - you name it! You can fill its bag by using itself as a scooper, or safely using your hands, small shovel or another scooper to fill it. We bought a lot of these clamps, some of which we use in our shops and labs. We have found these types of clamps/vises so useful in so many different ways, some of which are shown in the images. For example, we use two clamp/vises to firmly grip an object for sawing with a band saw or grinding with a grinder for minimal exposure of your hands to the blade/grinder, maximum smoothness of cut/grind and minimal blade binding. If you want to improve the tool's gripping abilities or to better handle especially delicate Items or better electrically and/or thermally insulate the tool's fingers, you can put heat shrink tubing or rubber tubing (we prefer common clear neoprene hose pieces, see two images above) onto the tool's fingers, or dip the fingers into a can of liquid rubberized tool handle coating (eg: Plasti Dip). While rubber tubing and coatings are softer, shrink tubes are much better under heat and as an electrical insulator.

          NOTE #1: This is a re-purposed clamping-type device. While it works great for many jobs - we often use these types of clamps/vises in our shops, labs, and kitchens for many different functions - we do not know what its original use or purpose was for. Just like dental picks - originally intended only for cleaning teeth - now have virtually unlimited uses by many other professions, trades, crafts and hobbies, this clamp/vise is very useful far beyond any original purpose it was designed for. In fact, we find that there are many jobs we do where no other clamp or vise will properly grip, hold or position the object. RADIAL HOLES FOR MORE UNIFORM COOKING

New old stock (NOS). Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel 12" Pizza Tray / Pizza Pan, with radial holes for more uniform cooking. A steel pizza pan / pizza tray is much better than those look-alike pans made of thin aluminum. Ask yourself, what cooks food more uniformly between a thin aluminum pan and an iron skillet (steel is mostly iron)? Also - very important - the holes of the pizza pans we sell radiate from the pan's center, and do NOT form the square or rectangular hole pattern that many lesser pizza pans have. Stove heat radially conducts from the center to the outside edge of the pizza pan. With these pans, the radial hole pattern means that the pan metal between the holes extends uninterrupted by holes from the center to the edge of the pan. Pizza pans with square or rectangular hole patterns result in holes blocking radial heat conduction, resulting in a much colder pizza pan edge than its middle. Also, some pizza pans don't have holes, so why are pizza pan holes so important? Holes are required to allow moisture to escape the pizza dough, resulting in much more uniform cooking from bottom of the pizza to top of the pizza - much less chance of burning bottom of the pizza while top is still cold. Also useful for biscuits, muffins, cupcakes, brownies, etc.

With the McKesson Knight Pill Crusher we have in our kitchen, we also crush nuts (out of the shell) so that they are more chewable for one of our people with bad teeth, and for using nuts as ingredients or condiments for cereals, cakes, pies, cookies, breads, ice creams, salads, etc. While the McKesson Pill Crushing Tool will crack some nuts in the shell, we do not recommend the McKesson Pill Crusher as a nut cracker.

NOTE 2: The official bags that come with this device work great but are clearly costly. You can save yourself a lot of money by simply using generic plastic bags of about the same size. Depending on what we crush or compress, we find that plastic bags of 4 mils to 10 mils work fine. And we find that as long as the bag does not break, we can use the same bag repeatedly to crush or compress the same type of item (bags can be washed between crushings; previously crushed items must still be fresh). And we obtained sets of bags of two slightly different sizes and double bag them when we need greater strength. And re-used bags can be washed between crushings.

Motor was derived from a large juicer that was bumped off a table when first turned On new (which broke a plastic part on the juicer body itself but did not appear to cause any motor damage), according to seller (she did not recall make and model of juicer, and motor has no boiler plate). So motor is virtually unused and looks very clean. Maximum motor speed is about 7,000 RPM, so this is a very fast and powerful motor. However, a high quality apple peeler / apple corer / apple slicer combination like this fine Norpro tool is rare these days. Not limited to apples, but works on other fruits as well, including large fruits. For this Norpro model, the 3-prong head can be unscrewed, leaving a threaded screw that other attachments can be mounted to (other attachments not included). And the slicer tube can also be unscrewed and removed. These features are especially useful if you want to convert the Norpro into a nice, wide-opening, strong but yet lightweight vise or clamp by screwing on a large washer head instead of the prong head and removing the slicer tube. This type of tray has a special name and history but we can't recall it - if you know what it is called and/or its history, please freely email us. Great for holding and as a server tray for wrapped food items, such as candy, cookies, fruits, vegetables, breads and packets of various sauces and spices, and drinks (e.g. party serving tray). Also useful for safely holding candles, or hot stones for a sauna or sweat lodge, or burning incenses or for religious services, or as a washing bowl. Turned upside down, this unique brass tray or bowl makes a nice protective cover or shade for plate or objects underneath it, and/or for objects placed on top of it upside-down bottom (we had napkins underneath it and spice bottles on top of it). Used and in good condition. 21" X 16-1/4". The purpose of this tray is to hold down possibly slippery meat for secure cutting. Without a tray like this, you might end up splashing hot meat juices all over your Aunt Mildred's Sunday finery or the carving knife might slip and you also carve up your Uncle Bob. This works simply. The "dot" pairs you see in the middle are small, 1/2" long stainless steel points that you rest the meat on top of so the meat doesn't slide around on the meat tray as you carry the loaded tray or cut or serve the meat. The stainless steel rod assembly at the bottom is attached to the groove arc on the right edge of the tray. It is then positioned for the option position over the meat should you still need greater control of the meat, and then lowered and driven into the meat to hold the meat from the top. It looks real professional in full operation. This tray is used for carrying, cutting and serving meats - not for cooking anything. Tray body is wood, and it has sturdy stainless steel carrying handles at both ends. Tray is shown leaned against a wood chair to give an idea of how really big it is - easily handling even very big turkeys. Tray can also be used to carry bread, cakes, etc., and is easy to clean. Disassembled, as shown, it is easy to store in many kitchens.

          The built-in Hobbico Accu-Glo Pro Series Controller controls Power Output, Fuel Pump, and Glow Heat Adjustment, and comes with its own built-in power meter. For model aircrafts, the Power Output is usually used for propeller starters (e.g. Hobbico Torqmaster 90).
          The white and red Mark X Fuel Pump (bottom right image) fuels up your model aircraft, model cars, and model boats. The crossing blue tubes on right side are connected to it. A tube goes to a cap (1-1/2" ID threaded, see top left image) used for a plastic fuel bottle (1 gallon or less), which normally rests on the platform below the Mark X Fuel Pump. (The Cermark USA Control Station came with the fuel bottle, but it had some stale fuel in it, which we disposed of and threw the bottle away.) On left of Mark X Fuel Pump are its power wires, which feed through the Cermark USA Control Station, and connect to the Hobbico Accu-Glo using banana plugs (bottom left image, red banana plug mostly under box), which controls the dispensing and filling of the fuel bottle's fuel.
          This Cermark USA Control Station is large, made of wood painted bright yellow for visibility, 20-1/2" long by 8" wide base, 13-3/4" tall as shown, and with two drawers for convenient storage. Top of Cermark USA box are 4 wood extensions, each extending out upto about 3-5/8" at any angle above and to the side, each secured into place with a thumb screw - great for holding or enclosing models, equipment, stock and tools, as well as for wrapping with string, ropes, cables, wires or tubing. Minor damages includes scraping and scuffing at the bottom, and a repaired broken "ear" (bottom right image); except for the scraping on the bottom end the Accu-Glo, the entire bottom is in great condition with yellow paint intact, and shows not visible water damage.

Used. This very high quality knife bag / tool bag is 28" x 20" unfolded (excluding flip out flaps). Has a 19" wide zipper pocket, sturdy handle, and pinch connectors. The outside has a few stains and a small cut (repaired) due to a couple of trips we took with it. Inside is very clean but with two small cuts (repaired). Used and excellent condition. Valdor Fiber Optics case / valise, w/ hard plastic shell and padded inside, 16"x14"x4". Very high quality. Originally designed to hold 8-10 Valdor instruments, it can be adapted for many other instruments and instrument combinations. Darker portions in bottom, right image are the recessed parts of the bottom padding. The dark rectangle at top of this image appears darker than the rest because there is no cushioning at its bottom. This Valdor Fiber Optics case is very versatile, has practically endless uses. Recessed spaces vary in width to permit thick meters and tools to PC cards and slim hard drives, and most recesses are long enough to accommodate two handheld meters. Medium-width recesses are great for probes, transducers, parts, and tools with handles. You can of course carve or remove the inside cushioning to you liking.

Used and in very good condition. We bought it at an estate sale. Believed to be of a vintage WWII military crystal case (for radio crystals) according to the family.
