These new old stock (NOS), high quality, very versatile and useful dual mini stereo phone jacks (female connectors) are really great! we bought a ton of these high quality stereo minijacks, and we are selling those we can't use. Because they are stereo jacks, they can also be used for all 3.5 mm miniphone monaural jacks (mono jacks) applications, depending on your wiring. Because these are a pair of jacks built into the same miniphone jack housing, they can be more easily and securely mounted to front panels using cement (e.g. crazy glue, model airplane glue) or small tie wrap. All you have to do is punch/drill two 1/4" diameter holes spaced to fit the jack ports.
These dual stereo jacks are not internally connected, so you can wire them in parallel if you wish, or wire each separately and independently to each its own function depending upon your applications. Parallel wiring is great if, for examples, you want two people to listen with their own headphones to music, messages, etc., to connect up both headphones and speakers simultaneously, if you want to hear / record a signal using one connector, while observing the same signal on an oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, voltmeter or bar LED display using the other connector, if you need to mix two inputs, and if you need an output signal, voltage or relay contact switching for two separate functions. Wired separately, for examples, one stereo jack can be used as a circuit input, and the other as a circuit output, or one as a circuit input or output and the other to connect up an external power supply. Dual jacks may help you beat your competition by their additional features and functions to your designs, or simply to make your devices more useful and versatile for you. These miniphone stereo jacks are 3 electronic parts built into one: Two independent stereo jacks + DPDT switch. The jacks have 12 output pins, which consist of: (1) 3 pins for the upper jack (top ring, middle ring, tip), (2) 3 pins for the lower jack (top ring, middle ring, tip), and (3) 6 pins for a DPDT switch mechanically controlled by the insertion of a plug into the bottom jack (DPDT contacts are not internally electrically connected to bottom jack contacts). The DPDT was originally intended to automatically switch stereo speakers (or monaural speakers) off when the headphones / earphones were plugged in. For example, the top jack was used for the speakers and the bottom jack for the headphones/earphones, the top jack being wired through the DPDT switch so that by plugging in the headphones/earphones, you automatically disconnected the speakers. With this type of wiring, the speakers can be permanently plugged in while the headphones/earphones can be plugged in only when needed. Of course, you can use this very versatile DPDT featue to do any other function you want to. Another example would be for a privacy function / feature so that whatever signal or audio is connected to the top jack is disconnected when a miniphone plug is plugged into the bottom jack.

These high-quality, rugged aluminum or steel industrial-grade 9 VDC battery (9V radio battery) clips/holders, while originally not designed to hold batteries but for a different use, these clips securely and snugly hold 9-volt batteries into place. We use a ton of these highly versatile 9-volt battery holders in electronic equipment we build, often to replace existing 9 VDC battery holders in commercial equipment, and for a wide variety of other holding, securing, hanging, guide, joining applications for other parts, tools, prototype boards, rods, small pipes and cabling which conveniently fit into them.
These 9-volt battery clips can mount batteries in any orientation, and adapt to all kinds of battery clip mounting constraints found in equipment: They can be mounted in any of the 3 axes, and they can hold the battery or other part either on its side or its end. There is a bottom tab in the middle of both sides of the holder, about 1/2" x 1/2" each. Either or both of these tabs can be drilled or punched for a mounting screw or pop rivet hole to mount them on the side or bottom of a project box. And either or both tab can also be bent out at 90 degrees for flat mounting on the side or bottom of a chassis. And either or both tabs can be sawed off or even broken off with pliars (by bending the tabs up and down several times to induce metal fatigue). The battery clip center can also be easily punched or drilled for mounting a pop rivet or screw to mount it without the tabs. Or the battery holder can be simply cemented into place or tied in place using tiewrap.
By squeezing in the holder sides, you can considerably stiffen the grip on the battery or other part to prevent it from falling out under even rugged handling of your enclosure (I even mounted one as a test to the underside of my car and it kept the battery in place for 6 months until we removed it); and by pulling the sides slightly more apart, you can considerably loosen the grip on the battery or other part for more easy placement of it. Changing the distances between the sides also allows the clip to be used with parts of varying sizes and shapes. For thinner items, you can use spacers to help secure them using these battery holders. And for fatter items, you can cut off one side of each of two holders, and then space the holders apart the right distance to accommodate the fatter item.

ELECTRONIC USES: These new steel pins work really great to test breadboard circuits, as temporary or permanent test points for breadboards and PC board circuits, and as jumpers for breadboard and PC board circuits (breadboard jumpers / PC board jumpers). These electronic test pins are 1-3/4" inches long, 1/2" wide at the top, 18 gauge steel wire, and have two pins (legs) which are pointed at both ends to ease insertion into breadboard circuit board and connector connection feed-through holes. One great advantage of these test pins is that the wire is wavy at the top in two places, permitting fast, easy and secure connections with 1, 2 or 3 simultaneous probes of the wide variety, types and sizes of probes used with test equipment, signal generators, power supplies, jumpers, etc., as shown. Because the test pin is made of stiff and strong wire (other similar pins are made of much softer wire and thus not effective electronic test pins), it works well with even big and heavy test probes and with relatively rough handling. Another major feature of these testpins is that these wavy connection points are horizontally offset from the pin insertion points so that you can clearly see and work in the test area where the pin is inserted because the test probe(s) is not in your way. This translates into easier and faster testing and repairs. Having tested 1,000s of circuit boards over the years, we can attest that this feature alone is a great convenience by eliminating the major annoyance of the typical straight test pins of having to constantly peer around the test pin to observe the components under test and make adjustments and changes as needed. For test pin purposes, we usually clip off one of the pins and put a short piece of heat shrink tubing on the remaining pin to minimize inadvertant circuit shorts. Also, you can cut these test pins between the two wavy points to produce two identical test pins of one pin each to double the number of your test pins / test points. Pins can also be cut off at the top with a pair of wire cutters and inserted into dowel rod to serve as a handle to make even better picking tools.

I keep about a dozen of these pins in spare secure-cap medicine bottles in various work areas around our home, shop, laboratory, business and trip box just because they are so incredibly useful in many ways.
